The better option for Tex-​Mex in Pittsburg when I want it to actually taste fresh.
Would be 5 stars if they had beer.

We read multiple reviews before dining here to make sure it was a good choice. Whoever was writing those reviews must have been high! This place does NOT hold up to the reviews. 3 friends and myself ate here for lunch
PROS: Fast and friendly service, clean, comfortable chairs, price was also a plus.
CONS: The food came out and all we could do is laugh. The beans looked as they have been run through a blender, the rice appeared to be microwaved uncle Ben’s Spanish rice. The burritos looked decent. I cut the burrito with a fork and knife, it literately crumbled. I managed to get a mouthful and the tortilla tasted like a piece of white bread had been flattened out with a rolling pin. The «meat» tasted like they had just opened a can of wolf brand chilli and ladled it on. NASTY! I felt a little bad for the workers because the food was so bad we were laughing at what they were trying to pass off as authentic Mexican food, to the point of tears. My buddy wanted dessert so he ordered the sopspillas. The comedy continued when she brought them out and handed us a squeeze bottle of ketchup. The same thing went though all of minds «OK, this place is bad but there is no way they have the freaking honey is a empty bottle of ketchup» it turned out she just had a brain fart and brought us the ketchup instead of the honey. He poked on with his fork and it deflated into what appeared to be a flap of sugary skin” The taste was non existent.
All and all we thought we were going out to lunch and what we got was a comedy routine.

The service was excellent but salsa was bland and chips cheap… beans were tasteless, barely a little better than Pappa nachos… better off at the cactus!

Food was great and so was staff. Got the cheese enchiladas with fajita beef on top. Awesome! Went with to friends and they loved it as well. Great Tex-​Mex.
