A must to avoid. I waited three months for the delivery/installation of simple set of porch railings. When the railings finally arrived, Clem had mis-measured them and they had to be re-fabricated. Then when the corrected railings arrived(one month later), one of the railings broke apart because it was so poorly welded. Another two weeks passed, and finally, three months after it was ordered, the railings were correctly installed. They look good. The installers were courteous. But my experience with Clem Iron Works was a history of technical incompetence and unanswered phone-calls. I urge readers to look elsewhere.

I ordered a set of railings for a front porch in July of 2015. I gave a 50% deposit and was told the railings would be ready in 4 – 6 weeks. 2 days later, I completed a change order because I needed the railings in white, not black. I called and confirmed the change order was received. After multiple phone calls/and wrong status updates, the railings were finally ready to be installed 9+ weeks after they were ordered. The company never showed up on the installation day, saying they had a scheduling conflict. 3 days later they installed the railings but they were the wrong color. When I called to question the color, I was told that they never received the change order and the person that took the original order/change order was no longer with the company. No appologies, they just acted as if it was my fault. Please do not use them. The railing quality was good and the installers were nice but everything else was unexcusable business practice.
