Review #132 — 2016 I try not to write reviews for fast food joints because I don’t expect much in terms of food quality nor service level, but I got a little annoyed today since I’ve been here a few times. I usually order their guacamole bacon burger and ALWAYS ask for no tomatoes and no onions. I’m not allergic to them, but I just don’t enjoy them enough to have them raw with my burgers. Honestly, I enjoy their $ 6 burgers enough to continue coming back even after running into the same issue. I’ve had to remove the onions and tomatoes on several occasions after getting home. I hate having to reassemble my own burger when I’ve specified that I don’t want tomatoes or onions. Am I really asking for too much?

Worst service. Takes to long and they ALWAYSFORGET to put the correct order. I never left this place without them making a mistake. Management is rude.

Katherin and Lizbeth are excellent works I always enjoy coming in and ordering lunch. The six dollar burger is great and I love the sweet pickles and sweet potatoe fries

I used to love this place! Went last night they forgot my husband’s burger. Went back to get it today and a quarter of the bottom bun was missing! You guys suck! Won’t be back.

I just came from there and I ordered a guacamole and bacon burger, paid 10 dollars for a meal. I only got a plain burger no bacon or guacamole. This i will not stand for, especially when the price is outrageous. I called and it didn’t matter a bit to them. «Well of course, you only work there it’s not your business.» This place needs better management and employees need to do their jobs right.

Boo Carl’s Jr! Your food tastes like a$$ and it’s expensive as hell for fast food. Your chicken sandwiches taste like fish(it’s supposed to taste like a crispy chicken). The hand breaded chicken tenders are too small and flavorless.(It’s supposed to be big, crispy and flavorful like your ad states). Fries taste soggy and your beef burgers aren’t any better. There are better tasting fast food places in the area or at least halfway decent.

This place used to be so much better. I have been coming since they first opened in the 80s. Today my fries were cold and old looking. Bad was dirty napkin dispensers were empty and dirty. One female employee on a cell talking at the front counter other male employees talking and visiting like they at a party. This place needs better managers.

I know this is sooo lame that I’m even writing a review for a fast food joint. Rarely do I indulge in fast food regardless but after getting off work late and have no energy to cook anything, sometimes I’ll opt for a drive thru. It’s cheap and quick and you essentially get what you pay for but still… It’d be nice if the orders came out correctly, ya know? My chicken sandwich was as hard as a hockey puck and COLD. I ordered fried zucchini and the little cardboard box had about four pieces of zucchini and the bottom was filled with cold crisscut fries. My boyfriend’s sandwich had one lil’ sliver of lettuce covered in mayo. Prettttttty sad. Shoulda gone to In n Out but the beau didn’t want to wait 30 mins for a drive thru line! One star for the Oreo milkshake. It was the only thing I finished. Another star for their breakfast! The biscuits are pretty good and the guys working the drive thru are friendly.

I went here the other nite and I ordered at the drive-thru and the girl taking the order Cassandra was not the person to be taking orders. Everything I said she could not understand until the 3 or 4th time. Then I didn’t see one of the orders on the screen so I mentioned it to her and she said«I know» then I said okay fine but it wasn’t on the screen. Pull up to the window she opens the window nothing was said to me she just put her hand out wanting the money. Gave her the money she slammed the window closed. When it came to our drinks… she grab our cups with one finger in the inside of the cup. Mind you she has been handling money at that window for hours. GROSS! I almost let her have but better this way. Hopefully the manager will see this and correct her behavior.

The people that work here must be morons. How hard is it to make hot food and serve it through a window? I go through the Drive-Thru, order a couple of street tacos. When I go to eat them, they are ICECOLD, as if they have been sitting in a refrigerator. I call to complain — and their phone rings and rings and then gets answered by a fax machine. When the«supervisor» comes on the line, he says he doesn’t believe that they are that cold, as they are all made to order. BS they are made to order — these two tacos have been sitting in cold storage. I thought it was funny when I first picked them up how cold they were… then I opened one and stuck my fingers into it and nearly got frostbite. Idiots. Piss poor customer service. Do it right the first time and you wouldn’t get so many freaking complaints.

So Carl’s Jr. We need to have a talk. You totally dropped the ball in guest service today. But after the fact, in looking back at it, the far larger missed opportunity was in teaching a young man how to be successful in this world. Let’s face it, fast food is most often a job for kids coming into their own and trying their independence for the first time. Knowing this is the bigger part of your work force, it becomes your responsibility not only to teach them customer service but also how to conduct themselves as adults, the do’s and don’ts of the world outside mommy and daddy’s influence, it it business like yours, Carl’s Jr, and mine to set these kids up for success and moving on from taking orders and shoving food out a window. If we train them right it will set them up to go into college interviews, have the confidence to apply to college and to know how to treat people along the way. Make eye contact, stand up tall, pull your pants up, speak clearly, don’t discuss work garbage in front of guests, smile, act enthusiastic no matter what your job is, put forth positive energy, thank your guest and invite them to return. All basic things. I went thru the drive thru today at Fitzgerald Dr in Pinole, Ca. Check number 30036. The boy was sloppily dressed, get him a uniform that fits, not one 4 sizes too big, he never made eye contact with me, he never smiled, he stood with his back to the restaurant while he waited for my food with his arms crossed across his chest. As he opened the window to shove my food out he says to his co workers, I don’t like working’ here. Wonderful impression he made on me, not only of himself, and not just because of what he said, but because of the lack of training he was given to this young man. You have to make your requirements known and then inspect what you expect without fail. Of course he hates working there, it’s fast food, young man, however, its a job, its a step towards your future, it is a step towards independence and with your poor attitude? The only opportunity you are ever going to have. Shame on you Carls Jr.

We usually use the drive thru. The last couple of times we went inside. I noticed how clean it was. Someone was always cleaning up. I figured that they have a new manager or something. I ordered a taco salad for myself. They were a little skimpy on the taco salad. More could have been used to fill the taco shell bowl. But it was good tasting. I was hesitant to order it. I ordered a taco salad several years ago, and the taco shell was burnt and so greasy. This was so much better. The staff was very nice and helpful. No complaints there. I will say that I have stopped ordering the fried zucchini. Some of the pieces of zucchini were not completely cooked. Sometimes there would be pieces that were still frozen. Needless to say, I have not ordered the zucchini in a long time. I might have to try ordering them again. Hopefully that problem has been fixed.

Ordered here on August 12015. Ordered spicy chicken && «criss cut fries». Got my order and they told me I didn’t order the criss cut fries & the guy was very rude about it and made me pay extra for there mistake. Never again here. They were training the cashier & everyone else seem to hear me say criss cut. But whatever.

I’m not really a person to give 1* but terrible service every time I’ve been here. Today I got a little attitude from the man asking for my boyfriend and I’s order through the drive through which I found completely unecessary. The other time we were ordered from here they messed up our order some how and we didn’t want to go back since we were already home. Oh and the buns are flat and gross and the food isn’t fresh. And the napkins we’re already greasy… I like the Carl’s Jr in Alameda though. Wayyyyy better. Better staff better food better location.

Customer service sucks. And it’s the manager. A manager should be delegating work so if there’s a problem you ask for him. He is the problem. Rude and confrontational.

Every now and then, I’ll order something for lunch or dinner here, but I prefer their breakfast menu. I’ve never had any issues with my order being incorrect, nor have I ever had any problems with the staff(I only use drive thru). Therefore, I’m giving them four stars for their food, particularly their breakfast. For breakfast, I really enjoy their Monster Biscuit. The biscuits are pretty good for a fast food restaurant, and they put a lot of items in there. The proportions of egg to meat to cheese is perfect in my opinion. I recently just tried their Country Breakfast Burrito, and it was amazing! I was actually really surprised with their gravy. It’s the kind of gravy I would expect at a mom and pop diner. As far as lunch menu items are concerned, I feel like their burgers are more upscale in comparison to their competitors. At least the ideas of them are. Flavor can be a hit or miss, though. I really think that it’s the sauce that makes or breaks the burger. Overall, this is a pretty good place. I would come back, especially for breakfast

I hate coming home and finding my order fucked up but I let it side the first 3 times because THENEWBURGERISTOOCONFUSING… But tonight. I asked for chicken tenders. I got chicken nuggets. My side of BBQ isn’t BBQ, it is buffalo sauce. My chicken nuggets taste hella processed. Idk why I even got the chicken tenders, last time they didn’t even cook them all the way. Yes carls jr raw chicken may fuckkng kill your customers but who cares right…

Believe it or not I never have had Carls jr until today, so I didn’t know what to expect. I ordered the number 1 with regular fries and a coke. The lady taking my order was really nice but sort of rushed me to take my order. Once I got up to my window she took my payment and asked if I wanted ketchup and I said yes. She was quick to bring me my drink which was nice. I waited in my car for about 10 minutes & got my food — not sure what took so long but she asked if I wanted ketchup again and apologized for the wait. It was nice to say that because most fast food places don’t do that. As far as the food goes the burger was good but it was sort of assembled sort of messy which wasn’t really a big deal but just something that I noticed. The burger tasted like burgers from Burger King which was ok and the fries tasted like McDonalds fries but without all the salt. It’s a little more pricey than other fast food places(by like $ 2-$ 3) but for my first time it was good and surprised by the drive thru customer service. Will come here again.
