Spent many days in the Original in New Jersey. Actually competed pagainst them for a while. Good sub, decent service that used to be aces, but as the franchisee has opened more stores, the thinning ranks of competent employees is obvious. Also, way too expensive for a sandwich. Two Giant meal ‘deals will run you around $ 30.00. This isn’t the North East, and they are just sandwiches.

This location is alright(I miss you Jersey’s by Roosevelt!). It’s located in the Shoppes of Park Place so can be busy depending what time you are there. Usually ample parking on this side of the shopping plaza. Service is hit or miss the handful of times I’ve been here. Management is good though in correcting mistakes. I normally just get a turkey sub Mike’s way so I can’t really speak to any of the other subs here. You can’t really mess up a turkey sub lol. My son likes the chicken parm and hubby likes the Philly cheese steak or the Kahuna cheese steak.

We were looking for something fast but different one night before heading to the movies. We remembered that Jersey Mike’s existed(a place neither of us had ever tried) and decided to give it a shot. We walked in and asked the girl behind the counter for a few minutes to look at the menu. She basically gave us an exasperated look and stared us down until we ordered. I picked the buffalo chicken and ordered it as a «tub» which she told me was the salad version. My Husband ordered a «monster» sandwich with Pastrami, Cheese and Sauerkraut. The girl that checked us out did not ask us what our order was, she just rang up the order and we paid. Then AFTER we paid She said…“Ohh. You ordered a Monster? I charged you for a regular”. I was thinking at this point it was her mistake and we would get the upcharge for free. No. She had the audacity to ask my Husband for his debit card back. She then refunded the first sandwich charge(which has still not been credited back to our account!) and charged him a second charge for the«monster» sandwich. Which by the way, cost $ 13 freaking dollars. Just for a sandwich… no chips or anything. Insane. I was a little ticked off at this point, but still willing to give the place a shot. Then, our food arrived… I was basically expecting something along the lines of a Chipotle salad bowl. No. What I received was a handful of watery lettuce topped with a «chicken breast?’ that was partially cubed(they did not cut it through), cheese and a tomato. The only thing that made this food edible was the Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo sauce that was poured all over the«chicken» which was questionable at best. My Husband sandwich was better, but not by much. It was BLAND and had very little toppings. He choked it down and asked if we could not return. Yup, we are the suckers that paid $ 20+ for a crappy side salad and a long loaf of bread. Never again Jersey Mike’s…never again. We will stick with Firehouse or Publix.

When I want a Philly cheesesteak this is where I go! It’s not Gino’s in Philly, but it’s the best one I’ve found outside of Philly. Every time we go here we are not disappointed, service is awesome and sandwiches even better! My boyfriend’s favorite is the Italian Mike’s Way. Great subs!

First timer there and I loved it. Great to see freshly cut meats and cheeses, I had the number 9 I believe, next time the only thing I would change is a little less oil and vinegar but other than that no complaints here, the guy that made my sub was awesome, I think he said he just started working there as well. Good job buddy.

I’ve been to this location about 5 times and I like this store much better than the one on Tyrone Blvd. It seems cleaner, the service is much friendlier and their credit card machine doesn’t ask for a tip.(I worked as a bartender and server for many years, and I don’t know why a sub shop would ask for a tip on a sub to go ?) I think their subs are much much better than Subway or even Publix, I like that they cut the meats and cheese to order, very nice touch. I never have had an issue with the breads, every time they’ve been fresh and soft. The only thing I didn’t like on my last visit, was the sub person tried to give me the thin dried out well done butt end of the roast beef, when there was a nice medium rare one right next to it. I asked for the better one and they switched them out but they didn’t seem to happy about it. I understand about keeping food costs low, but when you’re paying $ 8 for a sub, getting good beef shouldn’t be an issue. Maybe they could make soup out of it when the roast beef gets to that texture ? Oh, and why hasn’t anyone at either location ever offered me a sub card?

Great place for lunch. I don’t know how anyone else gave it bad reviews, because I have been here numerous times and have had nothing but exceptional service and above average food. Usually in and out in just a few minutes. Someone else said it’s just average and compared it to subway, but the quality of their ingredients puts subway to shame.

If you want a sub, go elsewhere. Night before Thanksgiving 2014 I made the mistake of going to the Jersey Mike’s in Pinellas Park. Not only was the service slow, after waiting in line for 20 minutes, I was informed that the store was out of bread and they had to go to another store and that they’d *maybe* have it in another 45 minutes. No thanks… I left Yesterday(12÷2÷14) I went back… as i walk in the door I’m told they are out of bread. I tell them that this is the 2nd week in a row they have pulled this stunt and how the hell do they stay in business. I wouldn’t be surprised it this location is closed soon,

Why 3 stars? Because it’s just that — A-OK. — — — I love sandwiches. I eat them a lot. I don’t like places like Jimmy John’s and Subway because I feel that the sandwiches have no taste or personality. Jersey Mike’s fits this mold for me. Not one sandwich seems particularly worth a drive over there. I went with the cheesesteak. It was meh. There are plenty of other options in town I’d prefer, including Publix.
