The BESTNY style pizza in Miami. I have brought friends and coworkers here as well, and few disagree. I believe they use Grande cheese, which is a high end brand. This is the kind of pizza where two slices will have you full, because it is so rich. Not a diet pizza, but definitely pizza ecstasy!

One of the best places in Miami for pizza. Perfect crust and full of flavor even with a plain cheese pizza. Remember to bring cash. No credit cards accepted.

I went to this place because it is supposed to have the best ny pizza in Miami(so of course I had to check it out). It is located in the back of a strip mall. If you are not specifically looking for it, you will miss this place. It’s basically a takeout only place(they have a couple of outside tables but that’s it). It’s cash only and the closest ATM(in the bar across the strip mall) was not functioning. As for the pizza itself, it was definitely above average ny style pizza. I got it with salami, pepperoni, and mushrooms. Good chewiness with a thin crust. Is it the best in miami? I’m not sure, but it might be. The garlic bread with cheese was not that special. It’s definitely worth a visit though.

What has happened to our once wonderful Pizza Kitchen’s sauce??? We have been ordering here for years. The crust is delicious, the service is great and the delivery service always comes through with a HOT pizza! All that being said, the last 3 times we’ve had the pizza, the sauce has been sickening sweet. Hey, guys! If we wanted sweet candy sauce, we’d order Papa John’s! Who changed the recipe??? Bad idea. Give us our old sauce back or we’ll be compelled to check out Steve’s down the street. Seriously.

The closest you’ll get to NYPIZZAISHERE!!! It’s hidden in the corner of a shopping center. So glad i found this place being that i worked in the area. The owner is soo sweet. The pizza is to die for. It’s my ultimate favorite pizza place. Lunch special is awesome 2 slices & a coke for like 5 bucks! Limited seating outside. They give u free garlic brand sometimes too. MUSTTRY!!!

Yummy. Definitely some of the better pizza I’ve had in Miami. I didn’t give it 4 stars because I’ve had better in broward county. But, the dough here is quite delicious which makes this a yummy pizza.

I just had my first pizza from here and although it was good I guess I was expecting to be blown away after all the five star reviews. The garlic bread is a definite winner here. It has just the right amount of garlic topped with mozzerella and what tasted like a hint of lime. The pizza was good and the slices are big but it just didn’t have the New York pizza feel that I was hoping for. That being said, it is one of the better pizzas around town so I will be giving it another try but my search for the elusive New York style pizza in Miami is not over. Oh, and bring cash cuz they don’t take credit cards.

I figured for my first review, i’d write for my favorite pizza place of all times. I love this place, i’ve been coming here for years and no other pizza place stands a chance next to it. It’s as close to coming to NY style pizza without actually going to NY. Better yet, it has great lunch specials and the slices, are huge. They use real quality cheese, not the cheap stuff that other chains/restaurants use and they put just the right amount of sauce(not too much, not too little) with a dab of olive oil. They have timing in the oven down to a T: the crust is perfectly crisp and the dough is cooked just enough where its not hard or soggy. I highly recommend my 2 faves: mushroom pizza or the white pizza. Mushroom pizza is generally my favorite and this place always comes threw for me as they know exactly how to cook it. Some places just burn the mushrooms or don’t heat them enough but not here. The white pizza is out of this world, it’s just white sauce, garlic and olive oil and cooked to perfection. It’s a very small mom/pop shop, just a counter on the inside and 3 plastic tables outside. Actually one of the only places that you can eat outside in pinecrest. It’s been open for about 17 years now and there’s a reason for that, the owner is all about quality and serve, the staff are young high school kids that are super nice & friendly and the pizza is liken no other. You definitely have to try it. Only thing i’m not a fan of is that they only accept cash, but luckily there’s an ATM in the strip mall. And although it’s not even close to my house & i have no problem going the distance just for a pie. A definite must try.

Pizza junkies, we were excited to try someplace new. I’ll say upfront, we didn’t try their regular pizza — just the white pizza. White pizza(garlic, different kinds of cheese — no tomato sauce) is one of my favorite treats, but this version was just ok. Not much flavor — really it just tasted like a dry version of regular pizza with some ricotta on top. Probably should have stuck with a plain pie. Next time, we’ll go that route. The garlic bread with mozzarella was pretty tasty! Had some spice — good stuff. We’ll give this place another shot for sure, but for this go around, I can’t go higher than 3 stars. Also, the location makes it really tough to find, it’s hidden in a strip mall without much signage.

We didn’t feel like cooking on a Friday night, so we decided to get pizza. I read the reviews for Pizza Kitchen and decided to try it. We ordered the veggie pizza and it was very good. They are generous with the toppings and it had mushrooms, spinach, green pepper, black olives and onions. It was well baked and the crust was very good. It’s basically only a carry-out/delivery place; they only have two tables and they’re both outside. No credit/debit cards, so bring cash.

«SWEETSWEETECSTASYFROMHEAVEN» is what my stomach just gratefully grumbled to me. I just had my first REAL Pizza Kitchen pizza(not that west coast«pizza kitchen») in about 3 years… I’ve been eating their succulent pizza slices since I was a sophomore @ Palmetto(the year they first opened) and I don’t remember them tasting THIS great. At the suggestion of Danielle, the lovely redheaded, blue-eyed counter girl(think of a younger, petite version of Christina Hendricks), I went with the the Large Basil, Garlic and Tomato pie… exquisite Being of sound mind and body I can sincerely say beyond the shadow of a doubt that it was the single greatest pizza pie of my life — better than any pizzas I ate as a child at party pizzas at Chuck E. Cheese’s, better than any of the plenty of pies I’ve had on my trips to Rome, Florence and Palermo, better than the wood oven pies I’ve wolfed down in Williamsburg — better than ALL of them, and I am not one for hyperbole. I’ve lived in New Orleans, Gainesville, Brooklyn and Miami and with confidence, I’d put up Pizza Kitchen against ANY pizzeria in any of those towns… yes, EVEN Brooklyn — trust that. As if the fantastic food weren’t enough(and believe me, THEFOODIS the reason to go and the reason I just went so far as to create a profile on Unilocal to write this gushing review), the service is stellar! Diana(the owner) has a smile that lights up the whole room and a warm, welcoming spirit that makes you want to eat every delicious thing that comes out of her kitchen… Call me corny, but I swear it has GOT to be the love that she puts into her food which makes it all so scrumptious… and the woman looks as good as today as she did when the place first opened — she’s like fine wine, but better :) Danielle(the aforementioned charming counter girl) is cute as a button, attentive and positively pleasant(did i mention how beautiful her big blue her eyes are and how gorgeous her red hair is?) I’m moving back to Brooklyn in a couple of weeks and my recent re-introduction to Pizza Kitchen is one of the few things(next to the beaches and the beauties) that will make it hard to leave Miami… :( In closing, before considering ANY other pizzeria, make your way down to Pizza Kitchen(just north of Suniland Park on the East side of US1 in Pinecrest) Believe me when I say, it’s worth the drive from anywhere in the 305, so go today! «Barriga llena, corazon contento!» Marco«Polo» PS — in keeping with the«New York”-style of the place, they accept CASHONLY so don’t forget to bring paper, not plastic. PPS — Try the garlic bread — the loaf is legendary! PPPS — Feel free to thank me here on Unilocal

Best Pizza in Pinecrest. Like I used to eat in Brooklyn when I lived there. Crispy crust, bubbly real mozzerrella cheese(not imitation) and a tomato sauce thats sweet and delicious. My favorite? Large pizza with Sausage, Onions, Green Peppers and Black Olives. Hmmmmmm. Gotta get one today.

OKOK… I’ll be the 1st guy on here who gives it 4 stars. But for what it’s worth I’d give it 4.5 stars(but not quite 5). Pros: Great pizza, super generous with the toppings, price was decent, people working the counter were cool and friendly. The crust of the pizza was excellent. Cons: Location was fairly hard to find(they need a regular restaurant sign as well as to be listed on the strip mall directory. The pizza crust in the middle of the pizza was a little soggy and a little too thin, which made it sag so you had to fold it over. Some people like folding but I’m not that big of a fan of the folding thing. Bottom Line: Definitely worth going here and getting a pizza if you’re in the area. They pile on the toppings and it starts to look like a meat/veggie salad. I’m a pizza snob so I’m gonna have to say this is a great place but to get 5 stars you’re gonna have to blow me out of the water.

This was the best thing I got from my ex boyfriend. He worked there in high school and for a while afterwards. Thank god, because this is the best pizza in Miami. The little place has I think 2 tables outside, with a counter inside from which to order pizza. Their slices are New York Style, with gooey cheese and fresh toppings. I personally order Jalapeño and Pineapple. Be aware they do not deliver everywhere, I think it only goes South of Kendall Drive, and it is cash only. The shop is ran by one woman and handful of locals. Since it is such a neighborhood shop its has that real authentic taste. Recommended! Its delicious!

I have been eating here for almost twenty years! This little pizza place with its family owned charm has some of the best pizza on the planet… definitely the best cheese pizza in Miami. I remember walking in the front door after practice(no chairs, just a counter and a bench) and sticking my hand into the little freezer for a cherry mama mia ice. The woman who owns the place was always there. One of her kids or their boyfriends or girlfriends was making pizza and everyone was always smiling. Although I mostly went here for take-out, you can’t deny the awesomeness of just getting to chill on a patio chair outside this place on a hot summer day, enjoying the shade. In fact, I used to rollerblade here in grade school and see how many slices I could eat(which was never more than two because they are huge)! And while I have moved away from Miami, Pizza Kitchen remains the standard for which all pizza joints in my life will be judged. And, every time I go home to visit, I make sure to stop by and grab a slice and a cherry ice.

I first found pizza kitchen when I was a little kid, and have been hooked since, it is hands down the best pizza I have found in Miami. If you are ever near the falls, take the time, swing by and you won’t regret it.
