What’s better than a mountain coaster? A mountain coaster with Goats on the Roof! This is one of the two back-to-back mountain coasters on Pigeon Forge. Basically, you go up and up the mountain, and when you get to the top you pull level on your cart forward to disengage the breaks and from there, let gravity do the rest. There is something about the turns that add to the thrill because it feels that the cart is going to flip out of the rails. Compared to the other coaster, this one is a bit faster but the views on the other one are better.

We have ridden a lot of mountain coasters but this place is by far the most epic. The staff is super friendly and the coaster is fast!

Surprisingly fun ride. Members of our group wanted to go. I wasn’t really all that excited about it but I’m really glad I went. The ride has the feel that it’s out of control, but really, it is the perfect balance of fast, fun, and thrill. If you hunt around the coupon books, you can find a $ 3 coupon which makes this $ 12 for the first ride and they offer rerides for $ 5(or at least they did while we were there) The ride lasts for a while, so it seems like a decent value, given the touristy nature of it.

The coaster was a lot of fun. Kids rode 4 times. Adults rode once. I screamed around each turn, felt like I was going to fly off. It was great. Kids said it was best at night. Adults did not go during the day. It’s a very steep and isolated climb in the mountains, which was cool.

This place was awesome! The coaster was so much fun. Scary but FUN! There are two seater coasters so my husband could ride with my 7 yr old. And there really are goats on the roof!

Bona fide 5-star entertainment! An alpine coaster fun even for those who are afraid of heights. The line moves quickly. Scenic, thrilling, and according to our not-quite-scientific results, the rate of involuntary mirth expression is inversely proportional to the amount of applied stopping force. That is, if you don’t use the brakes you are more likely to giggle most of the way down the mountain. I’m naturally anti-brake myself, Wifey is more of a brake enthusiast. I talked her into more speed for her second run and she agreed that her giggling increased significantly. Boom, you read it here first. The(peer reviewed) Journal of North American Coaster Engineers and Enthusiasts article is pending. I’ll add a few numbers, some graphs, and a good abstract to look more official. Now I’m going to have to ride the other mountain coasters in the area for the sake of comparison. And, of course, because of my dedication to fellow Unilocal!ers. Anything for you folks! Don’t forget the $ 1 Unilocal check-in offer. It’s only good for the original full-price purchase, not for your $ 5 rerides. All that, ANDGOATS! There aren’t many things cuter than a kid goat. Pro tip: there’s really no need for brakes. ;)

This place was absolutely fantastic! Adults are $ 15 and kids are $ 12, BUT they offer $ 5 re-rides all day. They also give PD discounts. They have brakes on the carts but it’s so much more fun if you don’t use the brakes. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. We went mid-day and there was virtually no wait. They have actual goats there that you can feed, and what looked like a small concession stand, but we didn’t check that out. This was no doubt a 5 star establishment! We will be returning!

This is SO much fun! We rode this multiple times last week on spring break. Everyone loved it– including the littles! The ride is fun and fast! Don’t press the breaks if you can. We laughed down the entire ride!

We all loved it. You’re pulled up a long hill and then glide down the side of the mountain(nice views) and through some curves/loops.I didn’t notice the auto-breaking, but if it’s actually there: good. I know someone who flipped an alpine coaster(about 25 years ago) and it wasn’t pretty.

3 stars I am only giving this ride 3 stars because it has automatic brakes that slow you down when you go too fast. Why hold the handle down to go as fast as possible when it slows you down automatically. It’s a good ride but the Alpine Coaster down the street doesn’t have the auto braking.
