This was the second time we went to this restaurant this year and it went ok. The food was good and the service was a little slow.

Our first visit to this place and we enjoyed it. The place is spacious(at least upstairs where we were) it was nice to not have our seat backs against the person at the table next to us like every place else in town. Food was very good, prices are not outrageous, our server was very friendly and outgoing. There was some issue with our appetizers and they did not arrive before our meals came out(food came out really quick). Our server made sure we still wanted them and made sure we were not charged for them. He also played with our toddler who was going stir crazy after a long day in the sun. We will be back and will add this to our regular list of places we eat at when in town.

The food was good, prices are a little high(fish and chips $ 15). Their décor is confusing. They are part sports bar, part ocean/seafood & part woodcarving/mountain/barbecue style restaurant. We were seated immediately and even though it was early and the restaurant was mostly empty, our waiter was very rushed. When I asked if there were any sides with the shrimp pot pie his answer was«no, the vegetables are in the pot pie» then left. It was a strange experience for my husband and myself. I can’t say anything was bad, just weird :). The ladies bathroom sink faucets turn the wrong direction so be careful or you’ll look like you took a shower with your clothes on, like I did. I think that whoever built/decorated this place didn’t think it through very well. We probably won’t go back but I hope you have a better experience.

The sushi here deserves a 5 out of 5 stars; I would go back for a dinner comprised entirely of sushi. I would not go back for anything else. Our meal wasn’t bad, but also not good enough to warrant a return. Places like this make me wish Unilocal allowed half-stars to be given, because I’d give HH a 3.5. We had the Eruption and Tempura Shrimp rolls and both were excellent and reasonably priced. The hush puppies were alright, not great but not terrible. The crab cakes were good, but the accompanying rice did not appear or taste homemade, and the crab topped grouper was delicious but the portion was minuscule. The seafood fra diavlo was okay; the bread stick that came with it was stale and chewy(but not chewy in a good way). Our waitress was not very pleasant or friendly and responded with the bare minimum when asked questions. I overheard another server, though, and he was enthusiastic and friendly, and he offered information unprompted(for example, he listed the MKT prices for the crab pots without being asked, while I did not feel comfortable even asking our waitress), so with a different staff member we may have had a much different experience.

Went to Harpoon Harry’s Crab House with my husband, in-laws, and young daughter on a family vacation. We decided to go here because we wanted seafood and were able to get a reservation at . My daughter was tired from a busy day and we knew she wouldn’t have the patience for a long wait(she actually ended up sleeping through most of the meal). The building was huge, and even though it seemed to be full we were able to enjoy a quiet dinner. Hubby is the only sushi lover in our group. He ordered a spicy tuna roll as an appetizer and said it was good. I ordered a mixed drink called the Southern Almond and really enjoyed it. I ordered the crab parm grouper as my entrée and was surprised at how good it was. The fish was flaky, and the crab/parmesan crust took it to another level. Hubby got the snow crab bucket. My in-laws both got the fried shrimp which they said was very good. I was very impressed with the kid’s meal my daughter got. She got the cavatappi pasta with meatballs for $ 5.95 which came with a breadstick. The quantity would have been enough for an adult meal. Since she slept most of the time she didn’t eat in the restaurant and we took it home for her. She ended up loving it the next day and my husband ate what she didn’t.

We were starved. So we went to Harry’s.The atmosphere is very nice. However, the hostess was very rude to us. My girlfriend wanted to leave, but I insisted on staying. Boy, do I regret it. Long John Silver is much better at 75% less cost. WW from Johnson City

Loved this place! Sushi was great! Had the El Guapo and the Poki rolls. Shared the Ahi salad with the hubs. Despite the place being packed, our waiter, Fletcher, was very attentive but not overbearing, and the food was out quickly. They don’t offer a military discount(bummer), but they give a significant amount of money to Wounded Warriors and they helped build the Boys and Girls club next door! We’ll be back on our next trip!

The food here is really delicious. We we definitely be back here again. Nice layout & plenty of tables so we didn’t have to wait. My husband & I ordered the NY Strip & the flavor was incredible.

One of the most pleasant experiences we had while down in Tennessee. I run two restaurants in NYC and I have to say we experienced New York service. Chris, our waiter Chris. From beginning to end he was, attentive, informative, funny, kept the one year old with us happy, and just a very pleasant server. He is an absolute asset to your business. The food was great but honestly wouldn’t have mattered. I’d suggest asking for Chris when you head on into Harry’s harpoon. Overall best experience we had down here ! Thank you Chris and Harry harpoons !

Being from Louisiana I am just a tad bit picky about quality seafood. Was reading reviews and had to try this place for myself. We first had spinach artichoke and crab dip, and it was simply amazing. Quite possibly the best I have ever had. Before I ordered my main course he explained how fresh fish was driven in daily from the coast and I started getting excited, and thinking I’m pretty sure my choice tonight was a good one for dinner. The fish was excellent and definitely fresh. Wife was very impressed also, and she is a lot more picky than me about seafood. Great build and atmosphere also to go along with the great food. I highly recommend it. A little tip, fish and chips is big enough for 2 adults to split. The two piece’s of fish are HUGE!!!

This is a cool place to go in Pigeon Forge. Great ambiance and décor. The food was great(we both got the rainbow trout), but it was very pricey for what you got. Service was okay, but nothing to write home about. We may be back, we may not, hence the so-so three star rating.

went here for a mom’s night out on our last day of the mothers day weekend getaway. The smell of the wood that is everywhere was the ipetome of the mountains and cabins. Love the décor and mountain home feel of the place. We started on the second floor truck bar with margaritas and alligator appetizer. The margarita was very good, we were disappointed we could not get a pitcher of them, which is what we were told and the reason we came. But we decided to stay anyway. I love that the bar on 2nd floor is open and the breeze coming through felt almost beach front. We could admire the lights of the parkway and was just a pleasant atmosphere. The alligator was just OK, so hard to chew and actually had a little gristle/cart ledge. I would not order it again. I love fried alligator– so this was a big FAIL for me. We then moved downstairs for the band and were told they serve wings after the band starts. Again ordered margaritas, they were SUPERSWEET, by the 2nd one down here I could not drink half of it the overwhelming sweetness was actually making me sick, tried ordering a shot of tequila to add to it– that did not help. The female bar tenders were all super friendly and helpful. We ordered 12 wings– 6 house style and 6 sriracha. also ordered fried dill pickles. They were not the greatest. the pickles were spears that were fabulously coated and crispy on the outside, temperature was hot out of the fryer but they were the sourest dill pickles I think I have ever had.(and I occasionally drink pickle juice so I am not a strange to dill pickles) — I only ate 2. the wings were also super sweet and those along with the sweet margaritas was just ruining my night. Why don’t they offer a traditional sauce? Why not ranch or lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan. SOMETHING other than these sweet sauced ones? The band was great! played music from the 80’s so I was pleasantly surprised. Although they took several breaks and one break I was begining to think they werent coming back. They were gone for a really long time– dinner break? strange because we left around 12pm and they started around 10? Anyway they were fantastic. THEBATHROOM was in dire need of a cleaning. There was water all over the floor in front of the sinks and although the sinks were really cook to look at the water when you turned it on hits the sink at such an angle that it flies up out the bowl onto YOU and the floor(that’s why the floor was puddled in water). Also the faucets seem to work opposite of normal ones. that was confusing. probably why people turn it on to hard. The bartenders were gracious enough to get us numbers for 2 cab companies. We rode the trolley to the restaurant(get off the North Parkway one at MagiQuest and walk the short distance.) The trolleys stopped running at 11 so we knew we would need a cab. We did enjoy ourselves very much, but I dont think I will be back here. The dinner prices are VERY high.

What a cool place! My husband and I came here for lunch on a Thursday. The place is huge, neat décor and very nice bathroom. We sat on the covered patio. Got the Crab Rangoon Roll as our appetizer. BEST cooked sushi roll I’ve ever eaten! Even my husband who doesn’t like sushi loved it. For our entrée, my husband got the Snow Crab Bucket and I got the Dunganess Crab Bucket. Both were delicious, but we quickly found out that the Dunganess Crab has more meat and is much easier to break open and get the meat out. There was a price different of $ 5 with my Dunganess Crab being the more expensive. This is a place we will want to visit next time we come to Pigeon Forge!

Tried this with a little skepticism bc of the negative reviews. We had the calamari for an appetizer. It was ok at best– very little calamari with a lot of greasy batter. For entrees we had the trout and the ribeye with add on snow crab. The trout was well cooked with a maple glaze. The steak was very good, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The snow crab was skimpy and cold. The service was good, but the management seems uninvolved. There was a family who was letting their children literally scream and run around(way more than average rowdiness). Diners were obviously extremely annoyed, and the management did nothing. The busboys in this restaurant need training. They are so incredibly loud banging dishes that it really interferes with the atmosphere.

I saw this place on a previous trip as it was being built and not yet open. I couldn’t wait for it to open. We decided to dine here on the first night of our visit. There was a bit of a wait so we hung out at the bar and ordered drinks. My friend, Gail ordered us a bottle of New Zealand Pinot. It was fabulous but I wasn’t surprised as she has excellent taste. Fletcher was our server. He was great. It’s always a pleasure talking to the ones that seem to love their job. We shared a two pound bucket of Alaskan King Crab legs. It came with some sausage, boiled potatoes, and corn on the cob. I put my bib on and dove in. Everything was fantastic. This will be a regular dining spot when we are in the area.

Be wary. If you want to sit on the patio and they have two parties of 10 out there your destiny is inside. Not too worry, Wendy was our insider and she was great! Made it a solid dinner. Sushi is a fam fave here. So are the oysters in season. Nice! We love coming here when in town. OBTW the grilled banana split is OFFTHEHOOK! Took some pics of a great dinner.

I have been to this place 5 times in only 2 trips to Gatlinburg. Went there 3 times in one trip. First they have a great layout in the resturant there are 3 bars, and a sweet upstairs bar called the truck bar. It’s nice when it’s a nice warm day and they open the windows /garage doors to open the bar or resturant to the warm mountian air sometimes. Now to the food well it’s typical seafood items but they prepare it well. I have not had a bad meal from this place. I have had their king crab legs twice and they steam them perfectly not to much salt, but naturally flavorful. Their regular fries are good as well with a nice seasoning on them. If you ask, the sushi guys will do a smoked whiskey shot. I’ll be going back. If you want a deal on some Gatlinburg attractions stop at the first desk when you enter, if not RUN to the second desk and get seated.

This place is gigantic. The night we stopped in it was mostly empty as it was off season. Our meal was prepared perfectly and our waitperson was a pleasure. Its not lost on me the irony of going to a seafood place while in the Smoky Mountains. I say have fun because this place is a good time.
