He gave me an estimate for a bathroom renovation. After giving him a deposit and waiting a month he came back with an estimate that was 1.5 times higher with very inflated costs for things like drywall, electrical, lighting, and ventilation. Another contractor completed the renovation for lower than his initial estimate and was able to start immediately.

Had a 12pm appointment. there was a bad accident on the freeway where I was coming so I had to detour around it. The road I detoured on has no cell phone service. When we finally got service Robert had left a message saying that it was 11:54 and nobody was home so «I guess you blew me off!» When I returned the call it was 12:05 and he had left and refused to do any business with us. Guess he didn’t want a $ 200,000.00 job. There are other contractors that I will be going with. Robert you have poor customer service and you are one the most rudest person I have talked to.

Robert did a large and complicated remodel for us, It included our kitchen, and other parts of the home. The part that I really want to recommend was his willingness to go the extra mile. Yes there were difficulties. All projects have them. He handled them quickly with care and grace. He continues to be helpful well after the project. His pricing was the best, he works with his crew very well, he is a pleasure to work with.

I had a major problem with a leaky shower in a rental house I own — the shower had been leaking for quite a while and the damage was rather extensive.
Robert of RC Allen Construction gave me an extremely competitive bid for the job and was able to get the job done in a timely manner and not overly disrupt the tenant (who was already disrupted living without a shower).
The work was done timely, on budget and I have a very happy tenant. Overall I’m extremely pleased and would highly recommend Robert for any work necessary.
