Came here on a Wednesday for Fish tacos. One word. Bomb! This place is definitely a hole in a wall. There are probably like only 5 tables with the capacity to only sit 20 a most. This place is located in the corner of a pretty beat down plaza with a pizza place next door. Now back to the food, I came here on a Wednesday just for their fish tacos. It is only 1 dollar on Wednesday! Talk about a steal! The price is excellent and the tacos are even better! The fish was battered and fried to perfection. You could actually see and taste how flaky the fish was and not just pure batter. I can’t praise it enough. They also have a mini salsa bar with green, red sauce as well as cucumbers, limes, and toasted Jalapenos. Best part about here is they take card as well as apple pay, not just Cash! One thing they don’t have is a restroom… But they do provide 2 stations of hand Sanitization.

I was in the area and Unilocaling for a good Mexican seafood place. decided to try this place out and they were really good. a lot more than just seafood too. burritos, tacos, sopes. also their customer service is awesome. guys are great. I had ordered food to eat there and a burrito to go and they offered to hold burrito and keep it warm until I was done with eating which I thought was nice of them. I will definetly be returning soon!

Excellent service. Food was great. The carne asada could be tastier, but the fish taco was on point. I’m not a fan of the fish taco, but I found myself thinking I could actually come here for the fish tacos alone. Great salsas, jalapeños, etc at their salsa bar. Very cordial and they even offered to pack the chips we didn’t finish. Any time on this side of town, this is the place for yummy food.

We stopped in for lunch on Monday. The special for the day was fish tacos for .99 cents. Can you believe it! I ordered two. It was so delicious. Others ordered the shrimp tacos. They were loaded with shrimp. Food was fast and delicious.

I love the fish tacos here, the best in town. Very authentic and fresh tasting. I would have given them 5 stars but I’m deducting two stars for lack of customer service. I have never been greeted when I walk in nor have they ever even cracked a smile to make me feel welcome. In fact sometimes it feels like we are annoying them by having walked in. They really need to work on customer service, it would make me want to come eat here more often.

Having family in Baja California in the in the taqueria and restaurant business and being a Mexican cook myself I could tell you that this it’s the closest you’ll get to authentic tacos de pescado from Ensenada. The tacos have the correct sauce and the fish is nicely fried my wife can’t stop eating them and on Wednesday’s the tacos are one dollar definitely with it you can’t go wrong. The place is small but it doesn’t get ridiculously packed like tacos Baja on Whittier and painter I never go there because of the lines. I could honestly day that these tacos are just a tad better than tacos baja.

Everything this place has is good the fish tacos are huge and the taquito deal that’s on Thursday is a really good deal every weekday they have a special hidden jem in pico rivera highly recommend

Taco de papa — great… Yummy!
Sopes — great! My mom loved them because the masa was not too thick. She went the next day for more. haha

One of those hidden gems that have good prices and good food. Fish tacos are awesome, they don’t skimp out on the tacos. The salsa is good. If you’re looking for that street taco vibe here’s the spot without having to look around for a truck/​vendor. Plus they have Apple Pay on top of cash/​card options

Fish taco was mostly breaded came in cause of the reviews **** took taco apart & ate a lil piece of fish in the middle of it, so I felt like I ate cabbage tacos with cream .
place is very small, &
No rest room at all
On positive note the red salsa is good
But I won’t be coming here no more.

Baja Mar kick’s Assssssss!!! No joke, staff was amazing!!! The food reminded me of being in Ensenada, for a moment I was on vacation. I ordered a bit of everything since it was my first time eating here I couldn’t help it. The place was spotless so clean even Gordon Ramsey would be proud. When it comes to food I don’t mess around I give props where props are due. My hats off to Baja Mar!!!

Thurs special. Beef taquitos (x3) with guacamole for $ 2.99 was delicious. I also tried their carne asasa soft tacos for $ 1.69. It was piled with meat. Great place to eat for lunch.

So on Friday I was craving fish tacos, and decided to give this local joint a try.
I ordered 2 fish tacos and 1 shrimp taco. The fish tacos were okay, but not pleasing (Tacos Baja Ensenada is WAY better!) The shrimp taco was also just okay. Their hot sauce was pretty bland. I was also craving those yellow seasoned peppers, but they didn’t have any (lame)!
This place has a small dinning area inside and their fountain drinks are also available in the dinning area. Their salsa bar is a bit lame.
I would have maybe rated this place a bit better, but I found this place to be pretty dirty inside.
Plenty of parking and the prices are pretty low. Service is okay.

Everything I ordered was delicious, fresh, and at a very reasonable price. Their portions aren’t stingy either.
I ordered shrimp tacos that were amazing and I ordered a tostada de camarones which I was very satisfied because the shrimps weren’t overcooked, and there was a lot. Love their salsas too. The red salsa is very roasted yum!
Definitely recommend this place!
