The staff is always so helpful and polite. We visited on the morning of the winter clearance and it was mad house. We were still able to get help and a fitting, and we did not feel rushed. We were even invited to join the running club!

Omg… this store and the staff are amazing!!! Expect one on one personal service. The store is tiny, but if you want personalized service and the right running/work out shoe come here. I bought the Mizuno Inspire 9 for my flat feet. Light weight and feels like a dream!

Love the Columbus Running Company! The staff is incredibly helpful and know their stuff. The staff doesn’t pressure you into something you’re not comfortable with and brings out shoes that are comparable for your gait. I got my first pair of running shoes here while home on break in 2009 and I’ve gotten a few other pairs here since then. They have a good range of choices and a bunch of clothing options. Over the holidays they have ornaments and other gifts for runners as well! Also, if you’re a frequent flyer here, put your name in their system. After so much $$ spent here, they’ll give you $ 10 credit, $ 20 credit, etc. Go in and visit these guys!

Columbus is lucky to have several good stores that specialize in all things running and the Columbus Running Company is a good one. They support local races and their creation of the FREE running group CBUS Pacers( ) made them my favorite. I have nothing against MIT or other running groups that require you to be a fundraiser for good causes, but I support those causes in other ways and I enjoy the CBUS group runs a great deal. The store has a good selection and great owners. If they don’t have it(my particular favorite New Balance Shoe), they will get it at a reasonable price.(15% below the NB Store.

I have been told I have the«flattest feet» several doctors, shoe salesmen, physical therapists, etc. have ever seen. Essentially, my feet roll inward when I bear weight on them — this causes my toes to throb, my ankles to hurt, my knees to ache, and my back to feel like I’ve been rolled over by a semi. The constant misalignment leads to terrible migraines. As someone who is on my feet and on the go all day long, a good pair of shoes is essential. I went to Columbus Running Company after a not so great experience at Front Runner in Upper Arlington. I was pleasantly surprised — the store is small and the staff knows all the products sold. The sales clerk pulled a few shoes for me and thoroughly explained why I might or might not like each pair. I found the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned in my life(and I have owned many pairs!!!). The pricing is relatively expensive, but I learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for when it comes to running shoes. I will gladly pay $ 100 for a pair of running shoes because I know they will support my feet the way they should, and the discounted name-brands sold in places like Kohl’s just aren’t made for people with foot problems.
