Tru West Credit Union

I wanted to leave a review for TruWest because I feel their current rating on Unilocal does not accurately describe them. I was referred to TruWest by my mom when I was looking for someone out there who would give me a lease buy out loan without completely trying to rip me off. I am so glad my mom referred me to TruWest. From the Tempe office to Scottsdale to Phoenix they are consistent with their great customer service. They gave me a great deal on my auto loan and took care of everything for me. They also have great savings and checking accounts and don’t charge you stupid monthly maintenance fees like Bank of America and chase bank. If I am putting my money into a bank I don’t want to have to worry about my bank taking it from me because it didn’t meet their minimum balance or deposit amount per month etc etc etc. So far I have had nothing but a positive experience with TruWest and am glad I discovered them! I would recommend them if you’re looking for better banking or even an auto loan. They are a great credit union and have been around for a long time here in Arizona.

I have had nothing but issues with this bank. I opened up an account over a month ago and still no debt card. They supposedly have send cards twice and still no debt card. I literally have to bank at a different CU to physically walk in and pull out money. Seriously will close this account and go to a better one soon.

Terrible credit union! Don’t ever use this business if you value your money. Twice they debited funds to a loan that didn’t exist and then the tellers tries to blame it on me. And they also screwed the sale of my vehicle By giving me false information multiple times. They told me if I paid my loan off in cash the title would be released to me… no it wasn’t. I had to go to the dmv the next day verify it was released then go to a third party dmv location to get the sale of the vehicle fixed… The branch manager is an idiot and the tellers are even ruder than he is. Terrible Customer service and unethical business practices ! I’ll be taking this to the BBB!

This bank knows how to steal money from you stay away!!! We work to hard just to give it all to the bankers!!! Screw this bank!!!
