Ohhh Starbucks… this location needs ALOT of work. I frequent this location often, DESPITE how I always tell myself to drive further and go somewhere else. I usually end up here because it’s near. They are slower than molasses in freezing weather IN Maine! Because I have ended up multiple times with the wrong drink order via the drive up OR that it’s always,(any time of the day), got a LONG line and with that, a LONGER than usual wait time, I try and gauge the drive up length versus parking and pulling my lazy self out and walking inside to order. The last visit I had, for example, I parked, went inside and there was no line… the drive thru had no less than 8 vehicles waiting. I had my order taken immediately. I stick with what is on the menu here and make it my goal to not order anything crazy: 220* Capps or extra froth, for example. I don’t want to throw these guys off with what I know isn’t that difficult BUT here, it seems to be. I stood waiting for a basic, nonfat, caramel macchiato for almost 20 minutes. they forgot about my order. Finally I was asked by one of the several baristas if I was still waiting. He admitted they ‘somehow’ skipped me. Thankfully, I’m pretty patient. The other barista, a girl, gave me my now prepared drink. You know what, it was a latte. She also shortened my name. with a wink? What?(KIM is my pet peeve .& the name on the cup clearly states Kimberly :) .) Oh well. I had places to get to and it wasn’t worth correcting my name, or my drink or advising these many baristas that the drink bar was a mess of spilled stuff. sugars missing and empty canisters or half and half. I simply continue to frequent this particular location in hopes that because this part of S PHX has not much by way of restaurants or coffee places, this location will get its act together: you know the basics? Clean the place more often, be quicker with simple menu offered drinks, be friendly, get the drinks correct and be apologetic for wronging a customer, not smarty! I’m holding out hope. because I’m on about my 150th visit here and ¾ times its the wrong something ! Americans and our coffees:)

I hate to give bad reviews but its to help employees grow. Came in around dinner time, there was no line inside but a few cars outside. My guest and I were not greeted or acknowledged when we entered or while we stood at the register. Due to being ignored, we decided to take a seat and wait for another guest, without ordering drinks. With four people behind the counter I felt like their customer service was poor. I would recommend going to this For better customer service I would recommend going in the morning or heading over to 51st ave and Baseline where customer service is always amazing.

So they must grow the beans when you order them. Waited in drive thru line for 30+ mins. Also, no option to leave the line so once you decide you are committed. At least give me he chance to leave.

Ordered an iced tea. Stood by the counter for 10 minutes while other people were served that ordered after me. I was never acknowledged by any of the staff, and there were at least six of them working. I left, they have my money but I will never be back. What a joke.

Make Cold Brew coffee or take down your signs. Was advised by employee when I asked for the coffee at 9:00 am they didn’t make any. As I was leaving he got my attention again only to tell me they didn’t make any. Really?

I am an avid Starbucks drinker and I’ve got to say, this is my favorite location! The baristas are always friendly and are fairly fast. This location does get busy at times but they get the drinks out as quickly as possible :)

Been here many times. Thought I’d write. The location isn’t really near any other Starbucks, so it’s usually really full. Unfortunately they are usually slow as well. Today, we arrived at 12:30PM on a Saturday and there were 6 – 7 cars in line, usually about a 30 minute wait, so we headed inside. There were 8 eating and drinking and only one in line. The person in front of us ordered three drinks, so I groaned to myself. To my surprise, our two drinks were called within four minutes. Thank you for fixing that Starbucks!

Starbucks should never take 30 minutes even in peak hours. It’s like this a lot. Weekends or weekdays you’ll be stuck for 20 – 30 min!

This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. Went to get some coffee on my lunch break and wasted my entire break there. Does it really take 25 minutes to make a cup of coffee? Will not be coming back to this location.

I don’t know why I keep coming to this location. Insanity. It’s as if they are allergic to getting your order correct.

I used to live on this side of town and would stop in this Starbucks because it was conveniently located near my house. The staff were always very friendly and personable, but I must agree with the other Unilocalers when they comment on the slowness of the store. They are terribly slow for some reason, inside and drive-thru. I wouldn’t recommend stopping at this one before work, or anywhere you need to be on time for that matter. It’s more a «weekend, I-have-nothing-better-to-do» kind of Starbucks, with no sense of real urgency.

If you have time to wait in drive thru line in the mornings, go for it. I have not had a bad experiences with customer service or orders: a win-win. This location is located in a little strip with wi-fi available, merchandise on shelves and floor and plenty of seating. Inside note: Phoenix PD frequents place in mornings, go figure :-)

Why does this place take so long to do anything? I have never had to wait so long at a Starbucks even during peak hours. This place is always slow wether u go inside or drive thru. I am not coming here anymore. Because beside the wait they have always got my order wrong. The young girls working inside gossiping should focus on completing orders instead of bs-ing. As of right now I have been in the drive thru line 32 minutes!

This is literally the slowest Starbucks drive thru I’ve been through. Thank goodness I wasn’t on my way to work when I stopped by, or I’d be 20 minutes late.

As my tour de Phoenix Starbucks Challenge comes to a close, I’m realizing that there aren’t a lot of huge differences from one location to another. They each offer something a little different for mood, though. This location is on the smaller side, and only one wall has windows so it has more of a cozy feeling. Jazz music plays over the intercom, making me want to sink in to this big cozy chair and read a good book. Alas, I must continue to work, but I will pretend that my Vanilla Bean Frapp(a girl can only take so much caffeine… bring on the sugar though!) is a clean Old Fashioned instead. I should note that this is the only location I visited today with signs in English and Spanish.

Meh to this location. Last couple of times I’ve stopped by, they have gotten my order wrong. Shame on me for not noticing until I got home. Oh well, it’s close to home so I’ll keep patronizing them. Good to having them so close by.

A typical Starbucks with the same products available there that are available at other locations. I have given this location 2 stars for 2 reasons: 1– They are SO busy in the morning(7−9am) that unless I have plenty of extra time, I don’t even bother. What’s the point on waiting so long for your coffee? I know it’s not McD’s– but I just don’t have that kind of time to waste before work. 2– One employee chastised me once for not ordering my drink right. Sorry– guess I’m not the mocha connoisseur but thought that was unnecessary. She knew what I was ordering, right?
