I travel throughout the west coast to the many hearing offices of the SSA. The hearing office in Phoenix has a lovely exterior and even nicer interior. However, some of the rules are a bit strange. They don’t allow the use of wifi. But we don’t usually come equipped with wifi. Perhaps the signs were referring to the tethering feature most phones come with where one can use a cell phone as a «hot spot» enabling other devices to connect via wifi. The reason for this prohibition is unknown to me. The hearing office itself was nice. The security guard was nice and very respectful towards us and the clients.
