MD’s Cooling and Heating, LLC.

These guys came out and fixed my AC unit in August of 2015 and now my heater doesn’t work.
When I asked them to come out to look at it to see if maybe they disconnected something they wanted to charge me $ 50! They didn’t charge anything the first time I called them. And now they want to charge just to come out and check on their workmanship! The heater was working before they worked on it!

These guys are great. They call it like they see and not try to scare you into buying or repairing something that is not needed. I called them when in a crisis and they responded when needed.

I’ve been a loyal customer since 2007. I love these guys. In my old house, we had to replace an aging AC unit. I got several estimates, and theirs was the most reasonable and they were even going to replace with a top-​notch brand. I’ve used them for all semi-​annual services since, and they’ve always been responsive and on-​time. I’ve mostly worked with Dave, but have seen Miguel and another of their techs as well. All are great and easy to work with. Most importantly, they are honest and do great work. Recently, in our new house, we had some damage to our unit from a bad summer storm. Our insurer was only going to give us a small amount for repairs. Dave went out of his way to help me gather the needed information so that I could submit for a larger claim, which I ultimately put towards a new unit. It was really above and beyond for any other provider — but just standard operating procedure for someone who cares for his customers. I am grateful to have an AC company I can count on and recommend, especially in Phoenix!

They were able to fix it without having to replace expensive parts. He really seemed to care and understood that we appreciated saving money. We will certainly call them again.

I needed a new heat pump so I called four companies to get bids. Miguel of MD’s Cooling and Heating came over the same day. He checked the old equipment out and took some measurements. He had a quote to me the next day for a new Trane, MD’s was the lowest quote and I was impressed with Miguel’s professionalism.
We agreed on a day and time and three technicians (Miguel, Dave and Jeff) arrived right on time. The installation went smooth and they did a great clean up afterward.
I am totally pleased with my new heat pump and the whole experience was a real pleasure. This is one excellent company and the staff are a great group!

I have had two experiences with MD’s cooling, both times with Miguel.
First time, he was called by the folks that property manage one of our rentals just to do an a/​c check. He discovered the fan needed to be replaced and he called me to see if it could be covered under warranty! Very nice touch.
From that experience, I called him to check out the ducts in my residence. We had had an energy audit and that person said that all of our ducts needed to be replaced and sealed to the tune of $ 1000. Miguel came out and said one duct needed to be replaced, the rest of the ducts looked fine and they had already been sealed. He did recommend sealing all of our registers because there were gaps between the metal sheeting and drywall. Total cost for everything? $ 275!

Dave from MD’s came right over when I called about 8 p.m. because my A/​C wasn’t cooling down my house. He immediately identified the problem (low coolant), and solved it without trying to upsell me or waste any time. He was polite, friendly, and professional. I was so pleased that when he did mention MD’s maintenance/​inspection program, I signed up because the price is perfect if it continues to come with such great service.
I definitely recommend MD’s if you are looking for a smaller but reliable cooling and heating business.

MD’s Cooling and Heating is an honest company, rare to find in this area.
I had an AC issue that ended up resulting in flooding of my ceiling and walls. The initial company that came out was like an episode of «12 Call for Action» or something similar. Typical bait and switch, overdiagnosis, and tried to take advantage of me.
Feeling overwhelmed, my real estate agent and friend pointed me to MD’s and I’m glad they did.
Gabriel came out the same day, and after spending some time in the attic, came down and told me what needed to be done. All simple fixes, no BS. He even came back to make sure everything was OK, and for some tweaks. Ended up costing a fraction of what the first jokers said I needed.
This company is honest and up-​front. If you need AC or heating work, feel confident that you won’t be taken for a ride if you use MD’s Cooling and Heating.
