Garcia’s Windows & More

Just accepted a contract to sell my home but had a cracked window needing repair. I found this co. from other reviews on Unilocal.
On Friday, 8÷21÷15, I called Garcia’s Windows for a quote. Mark Garcia, the mgr. answered the phone, «nice». Initially, he quoted a few days lead time to come measure the window, pretty standard. When I explained there was an imminent home inspection, he agreed to come out and measure the window «late that same day, after business hours, on a Friday»! Done. Mark offered to call in the order first thing «Sat. a.m.» to help with delivery ASAP.
On Tuesday, 8/​25, Mark sent me a text msg. that the replacement glass had arrived and offered to come install at 5:30 p.m.“that same day”. Again, the mgr., Mark, arrived promptly with an assistant. The installation was completed, cleaned up, and I am so Happy! Also, Mark was very professional yet personable.
«Maybe», I paid a little bit more for Garcia’s service compared to the rock-​bottom price of a competitor. I do know his competition quoted me 4-​day lead times just to come measure the window. Plus, the competition gave excuses about delays from their manufacturer, etc., without any option for expediting an order. For me, Garcia’s windows was a bargain! I will soooo call him back if I ever need glass/​window repair again!
FYI, AFTER final payment with my credit card, on site, (with an email receipt to follow), I told Mark how appreciative I was of his service. And, that I was going to write a glowing review on Unilocal.I have not been compensated in any way for bragging on them… I just feel strongly that small business owners who provide exceptional service, deserve recognition.

Mark replaced two broken windows in our house. One was a custom cut and he did a great job… it fit perfect. Their price was competitive with one other company, and a lot less than two others. Mark and his help are very polite. I chose Mark not only for price, but my intuition of him being a good person and felt comfortable to have him in my home. That is a + for me!

One of the glasses of my french window frame broke and I was looking for someone that would help me with that. Searched on Unilocal and found multiple companies but these guys came with the best price and they were knowledgeable, as well.
My order did take a little longer than planned but some of the delays were my own doing. If things started to drag, I would just call Mark until we got in touch. He was always polite, on time for our appointments, and accommodating with my many questions and inability to make decisions. He also helped track down the truck when they missed their delivery window, replaced some glass that was delivered incorrectly, and made sure I was happy with everything when he stopped by after the installation.
Great service, friendly, fast response, got the job done quickly and beautifully and cleaned up the site nicely all for a fair price.
I’m a business owner myself, so I know the value of providing outstanding service and affordable pricing. Garcia’s Windows exceeded my expectations.

I called and left a message on 7÷2÷15 at 8:26 AM to get a quote. I have yet to hear from them.
Maybe he’s on an extended holiday vacation. I’d be willing to update my review when he calls back.

Mark was exceptional to deal with. He came by to view the window on a weekend, showed up when he said he would (not making a customer wait around for 3 hours is a huge plus to me.), got back with an estimate quickly and did the repair in the same manner. I really appreciate service providers that use technology as simple as texting to keep customers apprised of their progress and schedule. There is simply no excuse these days for making customers sit around and wait in a vacuum of no information :) Mark fully embraces this and makes the process easy. The window replacement was just as professional and expedient. I will definitely use this company again!

Fast, courteous, very reasonably priced. Did a great job replacing a large window pane and vanity mirror. will definitely use Mark’s services in the future.

New patio door rollers are only $ 11.97 at Home Depot, so I should do it myself, I thought, especially since those YouTube videos make it look so easy. But my doors are set up such that both the sliding door and the stationary door have to be removed to replace worn out rollers. But that’s not the only reason I’m glad I hired someone instead of doing it myself.
After calling the top rated companies for this task on Unilocal I settled on Garcia’s Windows because he had the best price and could be out the next day (a Saturday). Here’s why I was so impressed:
* He is the owner.
* He brought an assistant.
* Both Mr. Garcia and his assistant were polite and respectful.
* He was prepared with professional equipment such as a suction cup window holder.
* He did not have my kind of rollers (not his fault — there are dozens of different kinds), so he immediately went to my local Home Depot to get them and came right back.
* He was meticulous in getting the wheels installed correctly and in getting the door back in the track, which was enormously difficult for the two of them and would have been impossible for me.
New patio doors cost $ 578 at Home Depot. If you think you can get your doors in and out of the track without accidentally breaking them, do it yourself. If you don’t want to take a chance, call Mark Garcia.

Had Mark come out to repair a sliding window that had the spring pop out. He asked me to text him a few pictures of the damage and measure the window dimensions so he could get the right parts and avoid a second trip. He did clear it with me to start texting back and forth before he actually did, which I thought was just fine. He quoted me what it would cost to fix with or without parts.
He arrived exactly when he said he would, and was able to repair the window without parts, which ended up being about $ 90 (this was about a month ago, so I can’t remember the exact cost. It was definitely under $ 100).
Wouldn’t hesitate to call him again if I needed another repair.

We had an unexpected emergency when our bulldog (she’s ok) crashed through our Arcadia door early on a Saturday morning. I shot Mark an email after finding him on Unilocal and he called me before he opened for the day and set up a time to come by later that morning. He came on time and had the glass replaced, cleaned, and reinstalled all within an hour. His price was absolutely affordable, and I would call him again without question. Highly recommend Garcia’s Windows.

Horrible follow through. I called to ask for a quote. Mark told me he could make it to my house in 3 days in the afternoon. He never showed up and never called to explain why. I finally called and left a message and texted him which prompted a call back from Mark. He apologized and set up a new day to come by. AGAIN he never showed up or called to explain why. At this point I just decided to go somewhere else. Extremely disappointed.

I thought this would be a safe bet based on reviews I read here on Unilocal,but I was wrong. I sent in a request for a quote, which came very quickly though it was by text message. I didn’t really mind getting a text, but it did seem unprofessional to me. I scheduled an appointment two days from that time, and didn’t get any kind of confirmation. I sent a text about an hour before the appointment asking if they would still be coming and got no response. No show, no call, and no respect. Choose someone more professional.

Mark and his company came out and installed all new windows in my house. Wow what a great job he did! I did 3 quotes as I always do when hiring a service and Garcia’s Windows beat them all. I plan on having him come back out to do sliding glass doors in the future. Thanks Mark!

I have to say that I am a little disappointed. I called Mark for another broken window after the superior service I received the first time I used him. He let me know it was going to be a minimum of 3 days before her could get the glass installed. He also quoted me $ 280 to replace the same sized glass he did before where I was charged $ 150 and he came the very next day. I called another company my neighbor used two months ago and they are coming out tomorrow for $ 145.

Mark helped me out of a jam. When nobody would even think of coming out Sunday, even after my window was broken during a burglary Saturday night, Mark was there.
I have old school, mid-​century «crank» windows that aren’t exactly standard, but Mark was super nice and a total pro. He even have me words of encouragement on my rough day. I should have paid him extra for doubling as a therapist.
Overall, great work at an extremely reasonable price, especially considering the «general pain in the a** prices anyone else would have charged for a weekend evening on no notice. Mark is a thoroughly good dude, and I’d recommend him to anyone.

Contacted them because of the stellar reviews. He wanted me to text him, which was great at first. Said he’d contact me to set up an appointment and it’s been over a week and I haven’t heard back. Guess I’ll take my business elsewhere. Really disappointed because so many good things were said here on Unilocal

I have to say that I was very impressed with Garcia’s Windows & More! After my lawnmower sent a rock through one side of our four foot sliding-​glass patio doorpanic set in. I called several companies for quick replacement to no avail. I read the reviews for Garcia’s and noticed many reviewers stated he provided quick and friendly service, I had to give them a call.
Mark answered his phone at 7:45AM said the magic words that he had the glass in stock and could be at our house by 3:00PM on a busy Saturday no less, I didn’t hesitate to complete the sale.
As promised Mark and his helper arrived right on schedule and went to work right away. They meticulously removed the broken pieces of glass, carefully vacuumed the pieces up, and had the door re-​installed in no time!
The service was friendly, quick, and the price was very fair. Thank you doesn’t say enough.

I’ve never needed a window replacement in my life. When my window broke I was confused on who to even call, so I turned to Unilocal.With as many reviews as Garcia’s Windows & More has I was impressed, to say the least, on the 5 stars. I read the reviews and was very confident in my choice. Mark was able to come by the house to do an estimate within a matter of hours. He was very customer focused. He was easy to reach and provided updates on the special glass ordering. Within days I have a new window. I am very happy with my choice and will use Garcia’s Windows & More again in the future. I recommend them to everyone! Great customer service and great price!

Great experience, the first company I’ll call for all future window, glass, and door projects. Here’s why:
I called to request an estimate for new bedroom windows and Mark remembered us from a year earlier when he’d come out to do an estimate for custom closet doors that we ended up not having made. He then arrived for the new estimate on time and was as friendly and knowledgeable as before, was careful to get the details of our order right (which included catching an important measuring factor that other companies never mentioned), quoted us a fair price, and ordered the exact product we wanted. He promptly let us know when the order had come in and scheduled the installation for just a few days later. He and a really nice, professional employee arrived on time to do the work and did a meticulous, thorough job.
Mark is all about customer service and quality products and work. If by chance we had been anything but fully satisfied, I know Mark would have done whatever was necessary to make it right. We look forward to doing another project with him.

I had the unfortunate experience of having someone try to break into my business by throwing a large rock through a side window pane. Luckily we have an alarm, so nothing was taken.
I called Garcia’s glass and Mark came out that day gave me a quote and a next day repair time. I had a few quotes all very comparable. Based on his reviews I went with Mark. The work was lovely fast and fare and we were good as new. I even brought a window from home that had a crack in it which he repaired and gave me a good deal. This is what customer service should be like.

I submitted a request via email to Garcia’s Windows & More on a Sunday evening. In the email, I detailed out my request for replacing the windows in both the front and rear of my condo with the specifications that I was also looking for windows that reduce the sound since our condo is directly off Frank Lloyd Wright.
I received a call back from Mr. Garcia on Wendesday and he said that the email was very detailed and we spoke in great length about both the email as well as additional information. He said he would be out to see my condo within a week and would contact me back.
Nearly two weeks went by before I made a follow up email regarding the status. I received a response the following day and in it Mr. Garcia quoted a price but no details in regards to the product and number of windows.
I sent a follow up email asking if this was for both the front and rear windows as I outlined in the request below and Mr. Garcia stated he did not know there were windows in the rear.
I asked then for a follow up call and additional details in regards to the price quote and have yet to receive any follow up emails nor phone calls.
At this point, I would not recommend Garcia’s Windows & More based on customer service since this is typically is a reflection of the style of business and work provided.
