I worked here and only lasted six weeks. My lead supervisor was cold, indifferent and unfriendly towards me. She would rush through instructions talking so fast I had to ask her to slow down so I could comprehend or even write down what I was being told. This adgitated her and she got an attitude with me. I would come in in the mornings pleasantly saying good morning to not get a response back from her, As if she was too busy or 2 above it all to share such pleasantries with me. Rather than being supportive and encouraging she would often shame me in front of the other staff, if she felt I was behind in my work. Technically I was still in training, I had only been on the actual job 3 weeks. When I went to my manager to discuss this with her she was very ineffective, flaccid and took the side of the lead supervisor. This was an overall very disappointing and somewhat humiliating experience.

I’ve taken my mom to see Dr Erickson and Dr. Prasad. Erickson we waited over an hour to see Erickson. For Prasad, the place was literally empty and we were in and out in about 15 minutes(mind boggling to say the least). My biggest frustration is the lack of followup and communication, even between 2 doctors that share an office. I’ve had to push to get every little thing done, they(doctors, staff, you name it) don’t do a very good job of communicating the«next steps» and I’ve had several unnecessary surprises along the way. If my mom didn’t desperately need this surgery, I’d be going elsewhere. Both doctors were very nice, but that does little for me when every other aspect of their practice needs some VAST improvements. I have left so many messages for various people, teams, docs, etc. to try to get test results, get this surgery scheduled, etc., that I had to threaten going down there just to get someone to give me results that they had had for days. I’m STILL waiting on a callback to schedule the surgery. We had a date scheduled at one point, but when I called to confirm, they had nothing in their books. It’s just a ridiculous waste of my time and at the first opportunity to change, I will be doing so. I’m still hopeful I can find a practice that has their act together.

Dr Damien and Soldodky(sp?) are fabulous doctors. I would trust them with my health in a heart beat. Bar none they have the most balanced and total patient approach to medicine I’ve found. I love them! And yet I will never go back to their practice — ever. Their back office is a mess and they have this auto dialer that calls you and leaves you v-mail telling you that you have v-mail on their special patient v-mail system. But you can’t just call it, you have to get your patient ID and pin so you have to call the office and get transferred around. Then you get to call their v-mail system and get your v-mail — that says your lab results are in, please schedule an appointment. Can someone please explain to me why I need to make three to four phone calls to get a message that I need an appointment I’ve already scheduled? DONE! Their V-Mail system was giving me hyper tension so I fired CVC and I’m healthier for it. Five stars for the doctors. One star for the administrative aspects of their operation. Average three stars.

I was seen by this group in 2009 through the ER and then in the office, had a stress test and released. Then a couple of weeks ago another problem popped up and I had to call them for an appointment. I was told I had a collection balance and had to come up with almost $ 300 to make an appointment or get anything from them. I told them I was never informed of this balance, don’t even have that insurance anymore and was not able to pay that. So I would pay $ 30. They unlocked my account and made the appointment. When I got to the office for my appointment, the woman ahead of me was being held up because the front desk had not verified any insurance or obtained any auth before appointment and they were messaging the billing office and waiting for answers before they would do anything. When it got to me they kept saying my account was locked and they were waiting for billing to tell them what to do. When I explained what had happened when I called they just said they had to wait. I told them I would wait for 10 minutes and I was leaving if they were that unorganized. My account was very quickly fixed and I was put in a room. They are extremely unorganized, charges are outrageous for services and front office staff is rude. The doctor I saw was very thorough but I am not sure if it is worth the hassle.

BEWARE! Before going to these doctors MAKE them give you an estimated cost for their in-house stress test and tell them that is what you will be paying and not a cent more! Their in-house stress tests are $ 4,000+. It is a shocker after your have paid your deductible and your insurance company has paid their portion only to find out you STILL owe another $ 350! I purposely did not pay the bill until I had to. I attempted to negotiate it down but they do not negotiate. Money or collections. I then asked the supervisor to remove me as a patient and she didn’t care. I then told her this is why the Democrats want Universal Health-care! The doctors have driven up their costs to crazy rates because the insurance company’s are fed up with them charging so much. Then to top things off, the doctors spend all of 5 minutes with you, talk too fast and never discuss the cost of any of their procedures or tests. They leave that difficult task for their underpaid staff to deal with the patients. What a life! Find another group and ask lots of questions upfront. That was my mistake!
