Rack Room Shoes

I decided to come to this store since it’s close to my home. I normally go to the one in round rock now I know why. Atrocious customer service. Normally I am greeted with a «Welcome to Rack Room Shoes» today I walked in and the girl at the front didn’t even act like she noticed someone enter the store and was looking right at me! Better yet I had boxes of shoes I was trying to carry and walked by 2 people who worked there and not one attempt to ask if they could help me NOTHING! I spend a lot of money at Rack Room and believe me it won’t be spent at this particular location ever again!

Not bad for a discounted shoe store. They offer military discount on Tuesdays. But normally I don’t find the shoes I am looking for in my size. Overall the staff is friendly and it is a great place to buy kid shoes.

I had a decent experience here. I mainly went to find some boots for my Halloween costume, on Halloween night, and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, in my size. I figured I would peruse some more and see if I could find some athletic shoes since they have their BOGO ½ off special, but wasn’t able to really find anything. So I went with another pair of dress shoes, since I could always use another pair (couldn’t we all?). Took me a while to get checked out, but I don’t think it’s really their fault, as I can’t imagine many people go to a shoe store on Halloween night.
Their men’s section is a little small (no surprise there), and I wasn’t too impressed with the lack of running/​athletic shoes. But they had a lot of nice boots/​dress shoe options which made up for it.
Clean store, not too busy, employees are available, and decent size selection. I don’t think I’d go back here looking for anything athletic, but I would come back if I wanted (needed!) more boots or dressy shoes.

Typical shoe store. Good discounts, BOGO ½ off– and a decent selection for women. I dont care for their mens and boys selections. seems to carry a lot of Nikes and Sketchers, and neither of those 2 for my boys do I care for.

I did not appreciate their legalistic compliance with a 30-​day return policy at Christmas season! I was trying to get some shopping done early, but learned that my daughter had a totally different style of boot in mind. Took the ones I’d purchased back 4 days past the 30-​day window and they refused to give me cash. I got a store credit, which I will give to someone as a gift card, I guess. I’m not going back! What ever happened to pleasing a customer? (The boots were not worn — not even tried on! They were still on the shelf, so there would be absolutely no loss to the store).

Good selections and clean store to find what you need.
I admit, I am not a shoe shopper… I am a shoe sherpa, which means that I carry them for the wife and kids while they shop.
Overall the store is nice, the selections and sizes were plentiful, and the prices were good on the BOGO. Additionally, it is a good store for the location and the area that is limited in shopping selections.

This was my first time actually buying anything. They had a BOGO 50% off sale so I got two pairs of cute shoes for $ 35. Cute shoes, good prices. The only problem was choosing which two pairs to get.
