After some initial confusion about the name change to Gilan Cut & Spa, I found out that Lori’s was purchased by the former employees, Naden and Mehdi (aka Fred). They operate by appointment only so plan accordingly.
Naden was great and gave my daughter and I the basic manicure… very inexpensive and sometimes just what you want! She was very efficient and friendly. Didn’t appear to be a lot of fancy equipment which is fine by me as long as the place is clean.
This young couple is obviously hard working and just trying to make their business a success. They absolutely get it too… good work, right price, friendly service. I will be back and will try a pedicure next.

They are in the process of moving so there seemed to be some chaos at first. They were talking business intently early on in my service, which got a little distracting, but I’m giving 5 stars anyway because after chatting with them both it was clear that they are just really hard working people trying to make ends meet. The pedicure and manicure were good and for the price, I am very satisfied.

I love that fact that its a 1on 1 with the owner doing my nails! She’s patient and gives you full attention on my nails and pedi’s. Now they have added a lovely lady to do threading! Yes! I love it! Lori’s nail have moved a couple of doors down to Guilan Hair salon. Love the new space guys! Call make an appt. You won’t be disappointed! Thsnk you for the continued excellent service!

Nice, friendly girl. Not fancy at all. Old building, equipment, etc. You get what you pay for. She is so sweet. She really tried to make sure you are happy with your service. This alone made me Love my experience. I just really wish she would get new towels and clean more thoroughly. I almost wanted to go buy her new towels because I like her so much. Lol! Its just herself and a couple that doesn’t speak English so she has to translate.
Wouldn’t honor the Unilocal Deal because she’s lowered the price. It was only $ 33 for the Special Spa Pedicure with hot stones and parrafin wax, etc., So cheap I didn’t care.

Don’t judge the book by it’s cover is so true for this place. I was a little iffy at first since I usually don’t trust my hair with new stylist but I’m so happy that I did. Had my first haircut here today and I love it. The guy who cut my hair was (Diogenes Coello) and he listen to every details of what and how I want my hair to be done. Honestly, I usually get my haircuts at ulta or toni&guy and they are over the price line. But this place is sooo affordable! He washed, massaged my hair for only $ 20. I can’t wait to come back next week to get my ombré done.

I had high hopes for this establishment. But I was let down. When I walked in I got a greeting. Told to pick out my color. I wasn’t offered anything to drink. Something the other Unilocalers bragged about. I asked a customer that was a regular if they offered drinks. I got a bubbly yes. still nothing. The person doing my pedicure did not speak english, so I couldn’t communicate what I wanted to her. Pedicure was a huge fail. Nadine moved in and finished my pedicure. She then did my mani with shellac. She was awesome. I was able to relax with her and she is super friendly. So I am going to give them a second chance. Also she just opened 10 months ago so I understand growing pains. Love you Nadine thank you

Went to Lori’s on Saturday and Meiridi (I think) worked on my hair. He was awesome! He took his time and made sure it was what I wanted. He also did my eyebrows. I was really surprised, I had never had my hair cut by a man before and was very happy with the results! Thanks so much!

I so love this place. It’s a professional, clean, fun establishment. The owner Nadden is great. Come give her and the rest of the guys a try!!! Best pedi’s ever. Love my eyebrows to!!!
