Jim’s Food Mart

This is my neighborhood quick stop store. And i love it because it isn’t like every other quick stop store in the world… well it is sort of merchandise wise but it ain’t a chain. Private small business owners who i have come to know, like and appreciate. Friendly all the time and they always greet you as you enter their store. And you can actually have a nice conversation with them if you want. Its just good friendly service from nice people. I actually make it a point to not go to the other chains nearby or if I’m driving home i will wait till i get here. I also enjoy supporting the local economy
And get this… its convenient… like 3 blocks away and i got my beers, ice, burger buns, newspaper, whatever… what a concept. I’ll even walk over for a cool drink when I’m waiting for my kids to get out of school next door at Timmerman.
