This is a great little Mexican food restaurant. The seating is limited and the atmosphere is nothing to brag about. I would go so far as to say that this is a horrible first date restaurant. As far as good Mexican food goes, this place is hitting on 6 cylinders. The food is always fresh and when talking about your standard Mexican favorites like tacos/enchiladas, this place is definitely the best in the hill country. My complaints are that they don’t have any steak/seafood options, no alcohol & the entire restaurant seating area is VERY small and lacking in atmosphere.

My husband & I went today after church because he was craving their breakfast tacos. He states they have the BEST tacos, & their salsa isn’t too spicy, it’s just right for the people who don’t like spicy. They have always had our business. The waiter there was very awesome as well. Small business with the perfect food, & service.

Great food, terribly inconsistent hours. Many times I’ve shown up at the restaurant, or called for a to go order within their posted hours, only to have then be closed. Then, they continually change their hours of operation… ugh, this new location is doomed to go out of business like the first one. The owner needs to take Restaurant Management 101.

This place is wonderful from the friendly service to the delicious food to the good prices. It is a small, family run business that takes pride in their food. We go for breakfast tacos and lunch weekly.

I was craving La Catrina’s spicy green sauce so we drove there to find out they had closed and Alfredo’s was open in its place. The man behind the counter greeted usvwarmly and said, «We’re Tex Mex too, come eat.» We did. Everything, in my opinion lacked flavor. It all looked good presentation wise but tasted like bland hospital food to me. We paid for chips and salsa(because it was before 11) and event he salsa lacked heat or flavor. My mouth was pretty sad. I had an Al Pastor taco which was passable, a Migas taco, which tastes like scrambles eggs without salt, and a chorizo and egg taco which was as expected with nothing left to surprise. The beans were very underseasoned and tastes like boiled beans that were mashed. I see no reason to return there because it doesn’t suit my taste buds but for those who may like more subtle and mild Mexican this could be a place to try.
