I’m a fairly new pet owner. I have had dogs in the past and we just got back into the pet world. Of course we first went to a closer chain pet store for all of our needs. I have to say, take the drive if you are in Lake Country or Waukesha to End of the Leash. There is a difference in quality. Yes perhaps the price may be more but I don’t feel it is that much more to make you question the value. All the products are made in the US or locally. A wide range of supplies. The staff is extremely knowledgable about everything they sell and spend the time with you. The last time I came in looking to change food for our dog they offered free sample packages to see what our dog preferred. They recommended using it as treats and see what she prefers. I was able to rate the 6 varieties they provided me. So now I am back to buy her favorite. Can you do this at a chain store?

when something i normally get in town was out of stock and on back order, i started looking online.
end of the leash was one of the only places that had it.
i ordered it on a thursday night, well past closing time. they shipped it friday and my kitty had her natural supplement, that truly helps her feel better, on monday.
excellent customer service! i haven’t been in the store, but the online experience is fantastic.

Decided to stop in here when we were out in Pewaukee to pick up something from another store and I’m glad we did. We walked in with our dog, were greeted by the staff and asked if our dog would like a treat which I assumed would be your cheap milk bone variety, but instead they offered a freeze dried treat that’s ingredient are basically meat. Once we got into the store a bit I noted to my wife this is the nicest pet store we’ve been in. All the items seemed to be made in the US or Canada and seemed to be things that are actually good for your pet. The prices are in line with other independent pet stores and they offered to sign us up for their reward system. The staff was friendly and helpful without being too pushy to make a sale. I’m looking forward to visiting this place again soon even though it’s a ways from our house.

Nice location near Pewaukee Lake. Pets are always welcome.
