Very friendly place. Nice clean store .Easy parking. Everyone was so nice, easy to talk to. Marty did a great job on the computer and had it back to me in no time. I called a few times and they were always very nice. I am not computer savvy and my questions were always answered with total respect for the customer. I was treated well and would highly recommend Same Day Computer.

At my office we decided to have U-verse installed. And for some insane reason I thought it would be fine to do it right before one of our HUGE events. Because what could go wrong? A couple hours of installation and 18 Mbs of internet power was what I was promised. Well, the AT&T tech guy totally screwed up and basically told us «I did what I was supposed to do, it doesn’t work, you’ll have to get your IT guy in here to fix it.» We were dumbfounded as we would expect an AT&T tech that is tasked with installing internet to actually leave, oh I don’t know, once the internet was working again? Tech-y poo couldn’t even tell us what was wrong or how to fix it, just that he had to leave and that his supervisor insisted he could not stay any longer. I’m wracking my brain to think of any other profession that a supervisor would insist his employee LEAVE before the job was finished, but haven’t thought of any yet. But I digress… We called Marty, he made it down to our offices within a ½ hour. He immediately started working on the problem, he talked to the AT&T tech-dud on the phone, who was just as unhelpful on the phone as he was in person. No he couldn’t come back, no he couldn’t contact his supervisor, no he couldn’t just install the old internet again. So with little to nothing to go on, Marty managed to circumvent the issues AT&T caused and get our computers back up and running on the internet. I could go on about the Static IPs and all the silly 00s and what the problem was, but as I am not fluent in tech-talk, the gist is Marty is awesome and he knew how to fix the problem. Not only did Marty save our butts, but he was super friendly and had us laughing despite our incredible frustration with the situation, and he actually fixed a few additional computer & email issues he noticed while fixing the internet. We would recommend Marty highly to anyone having computer troubles!

I decided to try Same Day Computer when one of our computers at the office came down with a virus. I called and Marty answered the phone and couldn’t have been more helpful. He showed up to my office within about 1 or 2 hours and helped us out and saved the day. Fast forward to today, I had a moment of panic when our billing computer wouldn’t start up and I called Marty and he was going to send someone out right then and there to help take care of the problem. In the meantime, as my usual process is, I tried to fix the issue myself before they showed up and got the problem fixed. I called Marty back and said that the crisis had been fixed and he couldn’t have been friendlier about it. He didn’t give me a hard time or anything for cancelling. I will definitely use them again in the future. Thanks Marty for your great customer service!

I found my experience with Same Day Computers to be quite a positive one, contrary to some of what I’ve read on Unilocal.I needed help getting all my files, programs, etc. from my old laptop to my new one. I brought my computers in, got my quote, came back 3 days later and it was done. No hassle, no fuss. Just straight forward service. They also helped answer a few questions I had about maintenance on my new computer and backing up my system, and taught me some stuff I didn’t know about computer care(at no extra cost I might add). And I could actually follow what he was talking about, which is good considering I’m not exactly a computer geek. Hopefully I will be kinder to my new laptop than I was to my old one. If you value the work you have saved on your computer… talk to these guys so you can preserve it!!! They know what they’re doing.

The folks at Same Day Computers took a look at my computer with the idea that it would need more memory – turns out I was getting warning signals because the settings were too high. After switching these, they returned my computer but didn’t charge for the time they took. They saved me money, didn’t make a sale, and won me as a customer. I’d definitely go back; they place the customer’s needs first.

I have had the chance to work with Same Day many times over the past year. I’ve sent many referrals their way and all have come back happy. I have had 2 consultations and diagnosis about my own systems and been quite happy and surprised at the knowledge, affordability and prompt responses. I would highly recommend them.

Same day computer and copier is a fabulous company. Not only were they able to help me with my devices but I have referred them to several friends who they have helped restore broken or dead computers but they have even custom built computers for some. Their customer service is surpassed by none. Marty and his staff are always there, smiling and ready to serve. Awesome business, staff has incredible skills, prices are quite reasonable. I will continue toi highly recommend their services to all I know and Meet in this area. Mike R. Petaluma

I give my star NOT for computer satisfaction, but for friendliness. 7−31−13 Here is what I got for 180.00. I will let you be the judge. I took my computer in with a virus I was running McAfee. Patty, Marty’s girlfriend quoted me 180.00 to remove my virus. Patty said it was a flat fee because sometimes it goes easy and fast but sometimes it takes a long time. I was only in town for the day so I left a 90.00 deposit and my computer with them for a week, I live two hours away up the coast. I return back after a week to their super friendly shop, pick up the computer. Take it to my sons turn it on and there is the virus, it is still there. I go back to the shop and Marty turns it on. Oh what do we have here… the tech left the«free» virus detecting programs on my computer. Marty said the tech was suppose to remove the programs but he would leave them in for me. I thought he was being very nice, I didn’t realize they were free. They are called Malewarebytes Anti Maleware &SUPER anti spyware free addition. He ran the scans, told me he hated McAfee and to get rid of it and I let him. Marty installed the free addition of AVG and told me I could buy the paid version later, I would just have to make sure to update on a regular basis because it was free. He said with the paid version and the only difference is that it will do the updates for me. So here is how I left the shop. I now have«three free programs» in my computer they use to detect a virus. Marty also set me up with a” team viewer” program so he could kindly help me out once I got to the coast and I run the FULL scan on my own. I left with a list of viruses that AVG found and two that said they needed to be removed«manually». If I knew how to do that I wouldn’t have spent 180.00 for them to remove my viruses. I was on a timeline(they had the computer a week) so I left feeling good about Marty being able to finish the job from my home with the teamviewer program. NOT the case. Marty did go into the computer while on teamviewer and he did remove programs,(not viruses) he said I didn’t need. Marty then told me that it would take too much time and he would need to format and reinstall for $ 360.00. I told him my boyfriend could probably do that I would ask him. I had already spent $ 180.00 for his time and still have the virus and his FREE programs he uses. My boyfriend called Marty to ask«just what did you do for Kim?». Marty said that he explained to me and he was busy and he wasn’t going to explain it to him too. He claims that I re-infested my computer when I did the«remove all» in the AVG paid version that I was told to buy. He wouldn’t pay attention to me or my boyfriend when we mentioned that the viruses never went away! John(my boyfriend) tried to backup my files and put them on an external hard drive and it won’t let him because NOW I AM a TEMPUSER… thanks Marty! The call ended. Needless to say I am still stuck. NOW the $ 180.00 flat fee is no longer a flat fee, Marty wants ANOTHER $ 360.00 for him to go into the computer to format and reinstall my programs. Marty claims I re-infested by doing what AVG says to do «remove all», even IF that was the case there were two viruses that needed to be removed MANUALLY that were NEVER removed. Bottom line… I do not recommend going to this shop for computer repair, when you can do the same thing Marty did with the free programs they use on your own. You will still have the virus! Just remember«super friendly» is not always«super knowledge». One disappointed customer with a pain in the butt virus! Now to find a REALCOMPUTER repair shop. Feeling very frustrated.

Hear me now, or believe me later! I wish I had checked Unilocal before taking my computer to this business… We had the same miserable experience as the prior reviewer. We took our computer to Same Day Computers, with a RAID1 configuration, because a drive failed and the mirrored drive didn’t take over. The blue screen said it still recognized one drive, so I took another drive in with the computer to replace the failed drive. I knew something was off when my wife was told they were going to recover the data and put the system back together with a single drive. Huh?! Now why would I want to do that? I brought a RAID1 into the shop and kind of expected one to come out; not an unreasonable expectation. I called and spoke with the person working on our computer. I told him I expected the computer to come back in the same configuration it was dropped off and that I had thought the secondary drive was still good. He told me the other drive WAS working and that he would recover the data, put the new drive in, and return the system to the RAID1 configuration. At the time, I thought it was weird to get a story entirely different than what my wife told me… Of course, then comes the next call to my wife… Both drives have now failed… Hmmmm… Needless to say, at this point all I want to do is get my computer back and take it to someone who knows what their doing. So, I call to see how deep they are going to take us for the«work» performed so far. «$ 180» he tells me, and it’s coming back as a single drive computer. You would think it ended there… Nope! My wife picks up the computer and ends up paying $ 300. Hmmm, anyone see a pattern here? Oh, and of course, the computer doesn’t boot up properly. It said there was a drive missing; push F1 to continue… Really? Don’t worry Same Day Computers, I put a second drive in myself, so the computer you«fixed» will now boot up properly and will now take it to a reputable repair shop to get the RAID1 reconfigured. What a horrible way to do business…

DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEHERE. The blue screen of death popped up on my computer so I brought it here on a Thursday 2⁄18 and they said they would give me a call later that day or the next. MONDAYNIGHT3⁄22 at 7pm I got a voicemail saying my comp«just» needed a new hard drive and it would run me $ 160 and they needed my OK to «pop» it in. I called back the next day and left them a message, BECAUSENOONEEVERANSWERSTHEPHONE, saying it was okay to put in a new hard drive. NINE days later 3⁄2 they called me back and left a message saying it was all fixed and to come in and get it. I called them back, answering machine ofcourse, and told them my mother was going to get it because she lives near by. She shows up and they try to charge her $ 350!!! I called back and left a message(suprise suprise) saying I was not paying that much because they told me it would be $ 160. The guy called me back and said to call him back because he had«different notes.» I didn’t feel like getting an answering machine, so I decided to just go in and I ended up having to pay $ 250 and I didn’t even get a chance to talk to Marty I think his name was… I would have just figured out how to put a new hard drive in myself or buy a brand new laptop if I new it was going to have to go through all that and end up paying $ 100 over what they said it was going to be. Oh yeah! To make things even more professional and pleasant, there is a super annoying chihuahua that barks the whole time you are there. I’m a dog lover, but come on! I wouldn’t even give this place a star if I didn’t have too.
