Marin Lice Remedies

FABULOUS! My daughter’s Kindergarten had a major outbreak which has caused my daughter to get lice twice! Both times, I’ve called Darlene, at Marin Lice Remedies. She got us in, within two hours, the first time. The second time I called at night and I was in, first thing, the next morning. Both times my daughter’s lice was gone after the first treatment. Darlene has movies and coloring, for the kids, to keep them entertained. She’s kind and gets you in and out. You come in WITH lice, leave WITHOUT. She’s the best! Hopefully we won’t be back. If we do get lice again, I know not to panic, like before.

I’ve been vacationing here in wine country with my wife and six year old daughter, when I discovered my daughter had head lice.
Of course I wanted to clear it up right away and went online to see what we could do. Sadly, most of the information all included multiple treatments that lasted the better part of two weeks. Ugh!

I have to tell you from walking into the clinic till we were done, it was a WoW experience. We met Darlene the owner and she explained the procedure to us in very easy to understand terms. She was very kind to all of us and especially to our daughter. She checked all of us and fortunately neither myself or my wife was infected with lice.
Our daughter was first treated with heated air with this special machine. Then her hair was combed out and finally a specialized oil was applied. This took all of 90 minutes for the whole family. And we were lice free!
Darlene and her staff made a frantic situation into a pleasant experience. She also gave us very good information about what to do at home. Less than you might imagine.

We were hosting all the cousins for 3 weeks and on Day 2 we discovered my daughter had lice! YOW! Darlene — who responded to my stressed-​out call at 9:30 pm on a weeknight and made herself available the next afternoon to receive my daughter and all her siblings and cousins for lice treatment and lice checks — quickly turned panic and dread into happiness, relief and a fast return to family fun. Darlene’s easy, non-​toxic treatment seemed too good to be true so I waited a few weeks to make sure the lice really were gone to write my review. It’s true — she cheerfully and professionally solved our problem in a few short and pleasant hours.

Darlene is 100% amazing! We had been fighting with lice for a week before I found out about her treatment. I called her last Friday morning and she had us in the same day. We found a louse on one of my daughters at 5:00pm and were at her salon by 5:30. She was so knowledgable and thorough. She was just fantastic. She made the whole event much less painful (except for the laundry of course). And they were completely good to go with 1 treatment… none of this «we recommend 2 treatments». She uses heat (to kill bugs and render eggs non-​viable so even if some are missed it doesn’t matter), oil and a comb out!!! I can not say enough good things about this salon!

We called them late one night, got an appointment for the next day, and were essentially lice free within 24 hours. Granted it was expensive ($ 300+) for a check of a family of (4) and treatment for (2), but it was totally worth it. They also included a 14 day free re-​check, which was honored several times for us, even on the weekends.
Darlene and her crew are thorough, confident and great. The facility is clean and inviting like a hair salon. Coloring books and DVDs for the kiddos too!

I can’t not remedy Marin Lice Remedies enough! I have two daughters ages 4 & 7 and over the course of a month they had lice. I tried four over the counter treatments from Rite Aid, Walgreens and Target. Nothing was working. They would be «clean» or so I thought for a week and then the lice would reappear. Finally I asked Darlene with Marin Lice Remedies to help. She came out and used a non-​toxic, completely harmless remedy on my girls.
