I have had the opportunity to attend two of Dan’s workshops and one of his meet ups. His workshops are well thought out, locations are chosen where you can shoot great images. Dan is always looking for ways to help you improve your photographic skills by emphasizing the use of the histogram, composition and the mechanics of your camera.
Dan is extremely knowledgeable in photography and his work speaks for itself. He is also a great motivator and is involved in numerous groups that showcase local photographers works.
If you have an opportunity to attend one of his workshops don’t miss it, you will be rewarded.

I have to reiterate Howard G. review on Dan Wheeler. I couldn’t have said it better. The difference between Howard and I is that I am a relative newcomer to the world of photography. I am one of the people who needs the basics explained and Dan does it great! Makes it all hands on and doesn’t make you feel any different than the other more advanced photographers. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to expand your knowledge in the art of photography. I had a blast and look forward to taking more workshops with Dan!

If you’re looking for a professional, curteous and friendly photographer, look no further. Dan Wheeler is an amazing photographer, and very talented. I recently purchased a beautiful print of the Golden Gate Bridge, that he took at Kirby Cove. The frame work was perfect, and it looks great on my wall! I’m giving him a 5 star rating because of his professionalism and amazing work! I would definitely recommend him for any and all of your photography needs.
