Albertos Tacos

Ordered and food wasn’t all that. Had better coming from San Diego, this was my first stop since it was close by my house, order the Asada frys.

After a bad experience at Pepe’s Tortas right next door to this place, I decided to give Albertos a try. I thought since there were no other customers there and I had other things to do that day, I was sure It would be quick service. I see the guy in the kitchen and its as if he doesn’t want to take my order. He stands there with his broom as I’m looking at him, maybe 3 minutes go by until he finally comes to the register and says, «What do you want». The burrito was decent but nowhere near good enough for me to come back. How do people like that expect to stay in business?

Went there today for some carne asada fries because i know they are good at the temecula location… well i was sadly mistaken! It was cold and the damn guacamola was like watery creamy… you seriously could barely tell guac from tge sour cream and beans… all the toppings but the cheese and carne were watery… WILL NOT be eating there again! And my boyfriends tacos were also cold!

This place is disgusting. The food is horrible. Your best investment would be the $ 0.99 BEEF tacos on Tuesdays. Don’t get their torta de carnitas, because it is disgusting and includes several random pork pieces. Same with the chicken tacos. Eating here legitimately made me sick. The guacamole comes in liquid form and this place is 100% sketch.

Lucky Taco Day.
Albertos Tacos, is my second taco shop of the day.
After crossing the inland empire border from Tijuana Tacos, to Albertos Tacos in the heart of inland empire.
Crap I’m still in the IE, where a taco shop is basically some meat slapped into a corn tortilla at a price of $.99 to $ 5.00 per taco and served in a building.
We do have some OK taco shops. It’s not easy to find them, but I try.
Maybe I get a little lucky when I find I place.
Today was a bad taco day, 4 tacos 1 soda $ 13.57.
Second Stop.
The inside of this place was also dirty. I had to wipe off the table to eat, I always have a disinfecting wipe with me for the tables, every table needs to be wiped down in the IE before you eat at a taco shop, hands down.
Trust me I know what I’m talking about regarding this.
The service is very slow, 2 tacos 10 minutes the entertainment priceless, 2 older Spanish guy yelling at each other, and a old lady trying to open a ice cream bar. And a dead earwig on the floor next to my table. (pictures of both)
Asada Taco, no taste in the meat, a little over cooked with onions, cilantro and a red sauce on top, the sauce was like a tangy ketchup thinned out.
Chicken Taco, the same as the asada but chicken.
The place was a little better the TJ Tacos, not by much.
Pepe’s Tortas is 2 doors down, much better tacos and 10 times cleaner.
2 tacos and water $ 4.11 tip $ 1.00
2 taco shops 2 strikes, 4 tacos.
Thursday, I’ll be in East Los Angeles, I can’t what for some good tacos.

Clean restaurant, has tv if you choose to eat inside the small establishment. Relatively pricey considering the smallish portions and average quality of the food
