I have eaten here at least 5 times, it has always been decent-not great but went there last week and was disappointed. Called and was told they close at 9:00pm on a Saturday night. we arrived at 8:10, the flat top grill portion of buffet was closed, there was 1 plate of left over dried out sushi, a lot of empty pans and extremely rude woman at cash register who told us we should have came earlier to eat. She did offer 20% discount for lack of food but 100% wouldn’t have been enough. I miss Mings! Are there any good Chinese buffets in Peoria?

Not worth of money ATALL! Probably the worse Chinese buffet I have ever been. Not recommended!

I’ve been searching for a buffett done well. Food was great no matter what I took. They have a stir fry station for hot combinations of what you want on a plate. Ingredients were fresh and quality. Blows everything away as far as chinese buffets go near central Illinois.

I love this place. I am new Peoria and in my experience of Chinese buffets I was doubtful that the food would be anything better. I was pleasantly surprised. The General Tso’s chicken was delightfully spicy. There was a fried walleye fillet which was worth getting among many other tasty dishes. Good food, relaxing atmosphere. We will be back

My review is just for carry-out. I was hoping to find a place that would let me get carry-out of the buffet for a certain price per pound, there must be somewhere in this city that does that! They apparently do but only M-F during lunch hour, while I am far, far away at work :( So first off, their spicy pepper symbol next to a dish is not kidding around! It means burn your lips off HOT. Second, the amount of food they compress into one take out container is amazing– definitely getting your moneys worth there! Last, they have items not on the menu. I love the garlicky stir-fried green beans that are found on every Chinese buffet in the world but they weren’t on the menu here. I asked if I could order them and I could! The food was still steaming when I got it home so it was definitely made fresh for me and not scooped off the buffet. Really happy I tried this place out, even if I struck out with the buffet carry-out! Anyone who knows a place that does this, let me know! **Nevermind, I just tried the buffet and it was really not good! A lot of trays nearly empty the entire time we were there at 7pm on a Saturday night, extremely blah flavor even on the Mongolian stir fry bar with a «spicy» sauce, 3 types of sushi all with imitation crab and no crab legs. It’s a 1 star buffet and a 4 star carry out, really weird!

Atmosphere is great and the selection is good also. I’d go back, but I wasn’t overjoyed with the food. I got general, sesame, and sweet&sour chicken and none of them were crunchy as fried food usually is. Dessert was great, large selection! I didn’t get the stir fry or sushi so I can’t comment on them.

I went here awhile back with my mother and sister-in-law for a nice sit down lunch. At the time it wasn’t too busy, so it was pretty quiet with a relaxing mood. The employees were attentive. Our waitress asked for our drink orders and by the time we sat down with our food, they were there. She also cleared empty plates away quickly and came back to get us refills. Food was fresh and delicious. Everything I tried I loved. They have a good variety of foods, and the décor and atmosphere was definitely a plus, just a clean and tidy place to go and have a nice meal. Overall I had a positive experience!

I’m not really sure why there aren’t any reviews for this place so far, but as I’m coming to realize there aren’t that many reviews for most of the places here in Peoria. First of all, you should realize that 3 stars is actually really good in terms of the food that we’ve come to find here. I’m only marking it down because compared to other Chinese buffets in different cities, this one isn’t all that great. The food was good, there’s a small sushi bar, and the décor/ambiance was nice. If you go Mon-Thurs nights for dinner it’s $ 10.99. You can’t really beat that, so we gave this place a shot, and I liked it! It’s super close to where we live so it will probably be a place we frequent often when we are too lazy to cook! I felt as though there were lots of Americanized dishes compared to usual Chinese buffets, however, this could just be a Peoria thing. Overall, good place, and I’ll be going back.

This is the worst food I think I have ever had Chinese or not. You know your at. Bad Hines restaurant when the only thing you can eat is salad and«home type potatoes» because you are hungry and on want to waste your 9 bucks. No joke, I could eat mediocre Chinese food, But this was just bad. Really, really, really bad.
