Great food and it was cooked fresh! Worth the wait, don’t expect fast service it’s a family operated restaurant but the food is worth it! Ate here again on my second day and it reminds me of exactly being in the PI when whole families hanging out! The Pork sinagang was a huge bowl but it was so good I ate it alone! You need to try it for yourself!

I’ve been here a few times but have yet to write a review. The dishes I’ve tried — Sisig(the best), pork adobo(no ones adobo compares to my grandpas but it was decent), pancit(I thought it was a little too salty, me no likey), lechon kawali(fried pork belly my fave and was very tasty!) For dessert: halo-halo is good but pricy. If you’re coming here to get drunk — don’t. Drink selection is small and mixed drinks aren’t up to par. BUTTHEFOODISTHEREALREASONTOGO! They also have karaōke.

This place is true meaning of a hole in the wall. I came here to meet up with my best friend after flying in from California and this place was the bomb! The place doesn’t look like anything on the outside but its what’s on the inside that matters. The interior is very homely and reminds me a lot of my friend’s living room/dining room back home. From the area to do karaōke complete with dance floor, right down to the vinyl covering the tables takes me back home and I love this place for it’s authenticity. For the food, my group ordered several things. We ordered the; Lechon Kawali(Deep Fried Pork Belly) Karekare(Filipino stew consisting of oxtail and veggies) Chicken Tinola(Chicken based soup consisting of thigh meat and green papaya) Chicken Adobo(Meat that has been browned and marinated in garlic, vinegar and soy sauce) My dish, the Chicken Tinola was on point. The broth was very flavorful and gingery(if that’s a word) and the chicken was so juicy. I ended up getting an extra serving of the rice because the portions here are huge! Just as you would expect from a traditional Filipino household back home. My friends loved their dishes too and I totally recommend this place to get your fix for homemade Filipino food.

Hidden gem, great spot to grab some Filipino food! Love singing karaōke and sometimes they open up the floor for some line dancing!

I am a Filipino-American dude from San Francisco/San Diego, who has just moved here temporarily for work. I was at the dry-cleaner and this Filipino auntie recommend this place to me. Why didn’t I take my own advice to never listen to the Filipino aunties? I had a terrible experience here and do not recommend coming here for the following reasons: 1) We waited ONEHOUR for our food without any awareness or apology by the staff. It does not take ONEHOUR to microwave food or just warm something up on the stove. I saw that other people in the restaurant were also getting annoyed and I’m sure they did not get an apology either. There were only like 4 small parties total in the joint. Was there no one in the kitchen or a 100-year-old lola? Was someone on a smoke break outside? Probably. No one has time to wait one hour for Filipino food. I was in a rush too but didn’t have the heart to say anything. Was it because I am Filipino and they think that they can«get away» with poorer service because«I’d understand»? If I was a white would they be more expedient so they look good in front of the White Man? Probably. 2) To make things 10 times worse, the food I ordered tasted terrible(kare-kare and bistek). You’re better off going to Jolibee(there isn’t one in Pensacola unfortunately). The kare-kare used old-tasting bland beef. Where was the standard delicious ox tail I was looking for? Did they even warn or apologize? No. 3) There was a group of people inside riding that new Self Balancing, 2-Wheel, Smart Electric Scooter thing and they were being loud and obnoxious. I didn’t come here to babysit or be at a relative’s house where kids are being rowdy – very unprofessional. Maybe if the first 2 issues I listed didn’t exist, I wouldn’t mind this but this just contributed to my poor experience. It’s too bad Pensacola doesn’t have a tasty/quality Filipino food spot. I hate this place and will never come back or recommend this to any of my friends. You’re better off making a Filipino cook friend and having a legit, warm meal at home without the poor service and long wait time.

SO Filipino! Reminds me of home! My friends and I have been looking for a good Filipino restaurant because we’ve been craving for good homestyle cooking! Nothing screams«home» like sinigang and adobo! We stumbled across this place, and it’s JUST like being in National City in San Diego, CA. My friends and I all ordered separate dishes and just shared everything and it was like being at a little filipino family party! Seriously! The sisig was AMAZING! It was a big portion and very flavorful. It came out sizzling and full of crunch! The fried tilapia was perfect! The skin was hot and crispy and the meat was soft and moist. The pork adobo was everything you’d expect adobo to be and more! And the bistek was very traditional with hints of butter! One of my friends and I even asked for extra rice and that really never happens! Great place if you’re craving Filipino food! Oh and did I mention karaōke? They take that ish seriously!
