Planet Fitness – Pensacola – Bellview

I’ve been with Planet fitness for a few years. I’m in the military so it’s wherever I go and it usually fits my fitness needs.
This Planet Fitness is probably the worst I’ve been to. The gym was empty and I was the only one (there were two other guys on the other side of the area) in the weight lifting area. I had two sets of weights out since that’s how I do my workouts and the area was EMPTY. I was the only one using these and they have extras of the same weights — BUT an employee had to come over (after they all looked and talked about me for a few) and tell my I could only have one out at a time…
If it’s crowded… I got it. I have great gym manners. But seriously? I was the only person.
I don’t know if my membership here is going to last. That’s a bit crazy, PF.

Just attended this gym today. It’s very clean, good rates and options. However, it’s more of a general fitness gym catering more towards women, i.e. free tanning, aerobics, hydro massage, so on. When inquiring about the range of dumbbells (60 lbs max) and lack of any free weight machines the reply was «we don’t cater to heavy lifting or bodybuilding». There’s about double the cardio as compared to any weight equipment. Any squats, bench press, incline, etc. will have to be done on a Smith machine.

It’s affordable! I like it!

Not always clean, very small, when packed expect to wait or go home. The rude girl no longer works there, can’t talk on your cell phone on a cardio machine but they allow the lady on the other side of place carry on a loud convo. They always pressing the horn at someone, you can def tell they love it. Membership is cheap and prob best in general area but there is only one other place. No sales person and $ 20 to try out club. Glad I’m moving and cancelled my membership

We’ve been going to this gym for a year now and I thought it was time for an update. However, what can I say that’s new? The place has remained clean and bright, the equipment is great, the staff is still friendly and helpful, and the price is cheap — about half the price of my old, dingy, dirty gym. I thought that after a year I would find some things wrong with PF, but my only complaints are minimal: a couple of the machines could use duplicates, some of the TVs don’t get all the channels (CNN at least), but that’s about it — we remain very happy going here.

I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness a few months now and love it there. :)
