J & J Tire & Service Center Towing

While heading back to Indiana on 9-​04-​2015 my car stopped running on I 10, 20 miles west of Pensacola. I called JJ towing to have my car towed to Pensacola.
Dan — the owner of JJ said that he also own a repair shop and is able to fix my car, after a quick inspection under the hood they told me it would take a day and couple hundred dollars.
Two days later I called JJ … JJ ask for a few more days.
A week later I called JJ. JJ ask for $ 1000. And few more days.
Two weeks later I called JJ. JJ ask for $ 2000 to fix my car, I ask them not to do anything because at this point I know I’m being cons by an dishonest repair shop. I told them I want my car back and bring it to another shop .
9-​23-​2015 I went to JJ to get my car. Upon arrival I saw that my car is in pieces inside the trunk of my car and others components laying around on the dirt, JJ told me to pay $ 960 to take my car out of their shop. I told them that the car is not in it original condition (I have never signed anything at this point) … JJ told me if I want it back in original condition (without running) it will cost me $ 2000. JJ advice me to just throw my car away and buy another one …
At this point, I’m in a lost & lost situation, with no choice but to succumb to JJ game .
JJ told me that he will fix my car for $ 2917 .
42 days after my car broke down, JJ called and inform me that it’s done .
10-​17-​2015 I went to JJ. Paid $ 2917 and drove out of their shop.
20 miles away, I heard a rattle noise in my engine and a loud bang within seconds my car stop running. I pulled over and call JJ .
While I was stranded, a sheriff stop by to check on me and took a peek under the hood. We both observe a hole on the side of the engine, with metal and bolts laying around.
JJ mechanics comes and took pictures of the damage on the engine, JJ wanted to take the car back to their shop, but I do not trust them, I ask for agreements on paper state that JJ will not overcharged or hold me responsible for the broken engine or any towing fee or make up anymore (ghost problems) so they can get more money out of me since it’s clearly that the incompetence workmanship and the fraudulent way of doing business of JJ leading to my engine being crack and I’m short $ 3000 and stranded on the road once again. JJ refused to provide any agreement.
My car is at Starr’s auto repair inc. (850)9393107. In Narvare Florida
On 10-​21-​2015 Starr’s auto repair called me and told me the last mechanics (JJ) have totally screwed up my car and require $ 7000 to replace the engine.
On 10-​22-​2015 I call Dan at JJ and ask for reimbursement of fix my car, Dan said I got no proof that JJ responsible. I told Dan his mechanics took all those pictures of the broken engine, Dan told me he lost his phone therefore he lost all pictures of the broken engine. Dan told me to do whatever I want but he’s not going to pay for the damage he and his shop does to my car …
Anyone who’s been wronged by J& j please contact me at 7 656 065 650. I’m going to file a lawsuit in November 2015. Hopefully I can stop those cons artist, and curb their fraudulent activities. Thanks

Dan is an amazing person! We broke down pulling our travel trailer and our insurance called this company to come tow us. He not only towed our truck to his shop and then worked on it, but he towed our trailer to a local RV park so we had a place to stay while we figured out our vehicle. He was more than willing to be fair and honest with us regarding everything and was so helpful in what was a very stressful time for pur family

This company towed my truck to their establishment. Told me it would cost 7.5 hours at 85/​h to replace my upper and lower ball joints… Allowed my trucks engine with all brand new chrome and pollished Aluminum components to be exposed to weather, charges me $ 185 saying he broke down my driver side assembly and then put it back together where as there is no signs of that being true.(if he did, why didnt he put my new replacement parts on reassembly? then continue to yell at me to shut up numerous times where as I should have been the one Irate… I have video footage of the entire experience that will soon be available on youtube search under JandJ Crooks
