Had the Cuban($ 8) and it was tasty. I’d say it was a bit light on meat but for the price pretty good. It was a Saturday and they had a special on PBR…$ 2 and buy one get one free. Served in plastic cups… I’m guessing 10 oz. …still …that’s 4 beers for $ 4…no complaints there when it’s a weekend. Service was terrific. My gf had fried plantains and didn’t know quite what to make of them… but then that happens to a lot of people who try those The dipping sauce was very tart… lots of lime and garlic. She’s a vegetarian so the choices were extremely limited… either plantains or black beans and rice is pretty much it.

I’ve tried the cuban sandwich and the grilled steak sandwich which was bomb! It was so juicy and flavorful. My first time having a cuban sandwich was a good one. I also tried the fried plantains. Very good too but not enough quantity for the price. Overall a good experience and I would try this place again.

Fantastic Cuban food! Fantastic Staff. If you want a great waiter ask for Nick. Reasonable prices. A great addition to Pensacola Beach! The drinks are great. The Bloody Mary has some kick!

We came out here on the 4th of July weekend. I think this place is fairly new and recently opened. The atmosphere is great and it’s right on the beach. The interior itself has a nice beach-y feel to it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had ordered the Cuban Sandwich, which was pretty good for Pensacola(I’m comparing it to the Cuban food I had in Miami). The meat is pretty well-cooked, however, the bread was a little dry. I feel the sandwich was also missing that flavor kick, that I usually look for in cuban sandwiches, but, overall, it’s pretty good. Their Roast Pork Sandwich was OK as well, once again, for the restaurant not being in Miami. They used the same bread, which was a little dry as well. The empanadas were a nice side, but a little over-priced for what you get. Overall, a cool place to check out with friendly staff and good service. Food was so-so, but nice for the location

My family and I ate here for lunch one day and it was great food. I love Cuban food and this visit did not disappoint. The only suggestions I have are to have a more complete menu with sides and what things cost, because the side of black beans and rice that I thought would only cost a few dollars based on some of the other side’s like Papa Rellenas for $ 3 and Empanada’s for $ 3 cost me $ 6.00 which if I would have known that I wouldn’t have ordered it and ordered more Papa Rellenas instead which were very good. The Empanadas were good too, but needed a little more meat filling in them, and the restaurant was very hot inside and recommend getting more ventilation in the place. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich for about $ 8 which was delish as well and everything I ate tasted wonderful, but with some fine tuning and having a more complete menu this place would be perfect. I recommend it and would return. Thanks!
