The place is beautiful inside and out, but the food is less than average. I ordered a WISEGUY burger. It was a big soggy mess. Nachos use cheese whiz instead of real melted cheese. Yuck. Service is acceptable.

Jeremiah’s is a Penfield gem. I love the décor! I went here for a drink and appetizer night with some friends on a Friday night. Even though it was busy by the bar, seats were always available, you would just have to search for them. We had our choice of beverage from beer and wine to liquor and had no complaints. We walked up to the bar and ordered wings with bee sting sauce and a bruschetta flatbread. Once the waitstaff noticed we were settled with our drinks and ready to order more, they would come back to check on us every 20-ish minutes for refills and to clear plates. The bruschetta pizza was good, definitely better than your average bar food. The bee sting boneless wings were a hit at the table but a little too spicy for me. From what I understand, the wings are the most popular here and I would try another sauce next time from their wide selection of sauces. The boneless wings were crunchy with good breading and no sketchy meat in them. This restaurant will definitely be worth a try with a sit down meal next time! I will update when I get to go there again!

First off, I love Jeremiah wings. I have been to Monroe locations and they were great. I give this place 2 stars, because of the horrible service. I understand no one likes to work, but the waitress was less than pleased to be helping us. At some point she must have seen/heard me say she was a bit rude, so she overcompensated by checking up on us literally every 2 minutes(I couldn’t even get a bit in between check ins!). I was here a previous time and sat at the bar, which took them 30 minutes to even come to our table! They need the up their service game. The food was ok, the wings were good as always! But I was also craving a garbage plate, so decided to try the 1104 plate for the first time. Major disappointment. The meat sauce was salty, and mac salad too mustard-y. I would return for the wings — but probably a different location.

We’ve been twice in the last month and unfortunately had some of the same experiences as other poor reviewers here. Starting with the wait. We were told about 30 minutes. It was almost an hour before we got seated, asking a couple of times after the first 30 minutes. The staff up front seemed distracted an uninterested with customers. The bar area was very crowded and very noisy, though not as bad as Trata for noise. Burgers ordered medium rare were well done(on both visits). The Guinness stew in a bread bowl sounded promising but was kind of dull and a very small portion. Good steak fries. In general a bit over priced, food is so-so, and service /attitude needs a lot of help. Nothing like the Monroe Ave restaurant. I hope they straighten it out, though they are usually crowded so either the area is way underserved or people don’t mind the downside here.

Yes it is tough to give this restaurant five stars because it is fairly new and as with any new restaurant there are«growing pains». However it is nowhere near as bad as some of the previous reviews make it out to be. I find the service at this location is far superior to the Monroe Ave. location where it takes 20 minutes for a server to even come to the table to introduce themselves. My wife and I have been here at least four times and the food has always been on-par with the original. The beer selection is great also. The only downside that I can agree with is that the wooden walls do make it a pretty loud environment but that doesn’t really bother me too much because I’m not there to read a book. The negative reviewers on here need to realize that this is Jeremiah’s TAVERN, not family restaurant. It’s a bar that serves better quality bar food than you would be typically used to seeing.

What a terrible experience! Staff is not customer service oriented. We moved a table to better watch the football game and were approached too many times to chagethe situation. We came to watch the game, drink beer and eat. Manager pissed us off to the point where we left. Bad, bad service. I DONOT recommend.

We had not been to this new outpost of Jeremiahs but were here on an early Saturday evening following a golf event. Our big group of 20 had one of the back rooms which was quite nice. The staff did a good job of keeping things moving with such a large gathering. The beer selection is good and as is the menu. The wings were very good as usual for Jeremiahs as were their fish tacos. This new location is nicely done, different than what I expected with the recycle barn look — not your typical sports bar but all of these hard surfaces makes for a very loud atmosphere. I do like the outdoor patio with TVs — in warm weather that would be fun. BUT… I do prefer the homey feel of their original location in the city on Monroe over this place in the ‘burbs.

I have never said the word«gross» in a review, but there’s a first time for everything. The food here is gross. I generally don’t complain about bar food because I know what I’m getting myself into, but Jeremiah’s takes sub-standard dining to a new level. Because it’s located right across the street from my grandma’s nursing home it makes for easy and quick pickup so we have eaten there 3 times in the past year. Today was officially my last day. Nachos — soggy, gross, processed cheese slathered on stale chips Cheese fries — same cheese. same soggy vehicle for gross cheese. Curly fries — soggy. flavorless. cold. Spinach Dip — flavorless. cold. stale chips. Veggie pizza — no flavor at all. the dough is a texture that I have never experienced before and never want to experience again. it’s dry, weird, and flavorless. HOWISITEVENPOSSIBLETOPUTCHEESEONSOMETHINGANDHAVEITTASTELIKENOTHING? As a veg, I can’t speak for the wings, but I have it on good authority that they are also offensive to the mouth. Save your money — go to McDonalds. Yea. That’s a thing I just said. I haven’t been to a McDonalds in probably 2 decades, but I’d rather go find out how their super processed salads are than spend another dollar at Jeremiah’s.

Thought the food is decent the bar is very loud due to how it was designed I strongly recommend sitting at the outside bar or fire pit instead of being indoors because it’s so loud. The draft beer could use to be a lot cooler it’s barely cold!

Service was indeed very good. Went in for lunch. Food was bland and flavorless. Black bean burger contains soy which wasn’t listed on the menu. That also means its pre made out of a box and not made in the kitchen. Wings were decent. Burgers and chili very bland. Good place for drinks, nice atmosphere. Pass on the food though. Prices on par with TGI’s and all the rest. Won’t return.

Went there tonight, having been there a couple of other times. Told the wait(for 2 people) would be 15 – 20 minutes, which was fine, and we were given a pager. After about 10 minutes, noticed that others who had come in after us were being seated before us… Including a family of 4 and two groups of only 3. When I went to the hostess to ask what was going on, she stated that because the groups were larger, they were being given booths which had opened up, prior to us. Now, I could understand if it was a group of 6 or 7… But a group of 3? Really? When we said we were leaving because this seating practice was not at all fair, suddenly an additional booth opened up and we would be seated immediately. Forget it! We walked out. Will not be returning to this place again. Nor will we recommend it to friends.

I feel like I forget to check in and review this place, actually, not a feeling a reality. The servers have always been nice. I’ve had some pretty delicious beer blends and a raging good extra dirty martini. The food has also been good. I adore how they don’t just make nachos with a pile of stuff on top. They make a nacho, pile of stuff, nacho, pile of stuff tower of mmmmmm. The steak quesadilla was full of tender meat and a plethora of cheese.

I honestly cannot believe that I have to write this review. Of all of the places I’ve dined and drank at for years, traveling around the country for work and leisure, I have never been treated with less respect than I was at Jeremiah’s in Penfield. I went to meet an old friend of mine last Friday(05⁄22) and arrived at the bar just before 5 pm. The bar itself was crowded, with no available seating, but 80% of the tables were vacant. We grab a round and sat down at a high top 2-seater directly adjacent to the bar. A half hour or so later, we grab a second round. A waiter stops by our table and asks us if we want any menus. We decline, thanking him and letting him know that we were just stopping by for a few rounds. He tells us that we may have to move, as the tables are for diners only. Mind you, we both have a fresh round in front of us and an open tab at the bar. I look at him oddly, telling him that there is no room at the bar and that we intend to sit until we are done drinking. He says, «Well you still may have to move» to which I reply«Right.» A little background on my friend: He is a retired Vietnam veteran in his mid-60’s. I am in my early 30’s and have worked together through several business ventures for over a decade. He’s been a wonderful friend and a mentor to me over the years. After the waiter walk away, we both agree that it was unbelievable that someone would suggest that a paying customer would have to move, but shrug it off and continue with our conversation and drinks. Another 30 minutes has passed(about 6 pm). The tables are mostly filled up now. We each have about an inch of beer in our glasses left and my buddy says that he will grab the next round. While he’s at the bar ordering, a waitress comes up and tells me that we have to move. I tell her that we are still drinking and have been here, steadily making purchases since before 5 pm. I told her that we have no intention of moving until we are done. She says«well there is a wait and it’s not fair to them. Either move or I will get the manager.» She was very curt and her tone was extremely rude. I raise my voice and say«are you telling me that two paying customers are being forced to vacate the seats they have been sitting in for over an hour? I have NEVER been treated like this!» She says, «That’s it, I’m getting the manager.» I said to her«Don’t bother!» and tell my friend not to pay for the two beers because we are out of here. Never in my life, even at the most crowded of establishments, has someone had the audacity to tell me to vacate my seat, ESPECIALLY when I am still purchasing product. **** Bottom Line **** Jeremiah’s kicked a Vietnam veteran who served his country and myself out of his seat like he was Rosa-freak’n-Parks on MEMORIALDAYWEEKEND! I will NEVER dine at either of their locations again and will inform everyone I can about the lack of respect this establishment has towards its’ clientele. *********************** On a positive note, we went to Don’s Original right up the street for one last pint, where we received OUTSTANDING and POLITE service from a wonderful waitress. I wish that I remembered her name to credit her.

I’ve been there a few times now. Wings aren’t bad but no where near as good as the one on Monroe, which are arguably the best in Rochester and therefore the world. Also cool layout but the all wood façade makes it incredibly loud in the bar area. I wish this place was more like the one on monroe. It’s not a bad place but compared to its big bro it’s a total let down.

My first review was 5 star, how quickly that can change. We went to watch some football back in November and the bar wad packed with fans for both teams. Because someone else called in they played another game over the speakers. I understand since the table of two called in first they get first choice. That’s acceptable. Just called to request that the National Championship be broadcast this Monday. Management said no and couldn’t believe someone or many people would want to watch AND listen to the game. Manager, get your head out of your tail and listen to customers. FYI– Shooters in Fairport will be broadcasting the OSU Oregon game on Monday football fans!

What a disappointment. Just like the movies, I guess sequels just can’t be as good as the originals and this Jeremiah’s pales in comparison to the original. We planned a large group party because the back private room seemed really cool and we enjoyed the original Jeremiah’s. Dealing with the events coordinator though should have been a sign of the disaster that was about to unfold. The events coordinator was anything but coordinated. She constantly asked where we left off since the last conversation, would say she would email things and never did(like the beer list for example), and not return emails verifying that she received our menu choices for the party. However, we were able to book the back room that we wanted, or so we thought. So, we get to Jeremiah’s on the night of the event and lo and behold they didn’t have the back room reserved for us. Other patrons were seated and eating in there. They said they had us down for the party room in the front of the restaurant(which is much smaller), but that is not what we had set up with the event(un)coordinator. They also tried explaining that they would never rent the back room on a Saturday night because they make so much money from seating dinner patrons in there(we’ll see if that keeps up based on the way this place is run). This was never told to us while dealing with their events coordinator. Not only did they book us in the wrong room, but they didn’t even have it ready for us, there was another group in there, when we showed up for our reservation. We were waiting in the lobby area, but as more of our group showed up we had to spill over into the area where the dart games are, and were told we couldn’t stand there because the musician needed to set up. They didn’t have a response for us when we asked where they would like us to wait until the room was ready. Once we were able to get into the room, the space was very tight and cramped for the 30 people in our group. The only saving grace was that they took off about $ 90 off the bill. Steer clear of this place if you’re trying to plan a big group event. They don’t have competent management to handle this.

Actually not as bad as I had thought it would be based on earlier reviews. A-OK. Went here on a Tuesday at 6 pm, busy but no waiting for a party of two. Sat in a both near the bar. The place seemed to fluctuate between half to two thirds full most the time we were there. Good selection of beers drafts and bottles. Priced about a dollar(or two) higher than other places on average across the whole selection. And while I didn’t take a measuring instrument, their«pint» glasses seemed to be just a hint shy of a full pint. Maybe I was thirsty, or maybe they went down too easily but I still think they were a couple of ounces short, which make the prices high. IMO. The food, the double cheeseburger and the rueben were decent if not good. Tasty, served hot, no problems experienced. I wouldn’t say it was the food that would make me think to go here,(it is a sport’s bar) but it was fine. The greeting at the door and seating was very friendly and the table service was alright, certainly not bad by any means. Our server did say that he was doing double-duty having come from another Jeremiah’s location, so maybe they are addressing other’s service concerns? Maybe? The place is obviously new and looks it. The interior is open and with the semi vaulted ceilings the sound reverbs so it is above average loud, and I would venture a guess that it becomes a full din when packed. The was background music playing and the seven plus tv screens I could see from my seat were repeating versions of sports news and or events. Just exactly what I would expect. The exterior lighting on the building and to a degree in the parking lot and driveway, and the exterior signage definitely needs some enhancements, one could easily drive by here if you did not know where it was. It gave me the sense of being in a locale version of any popular sport’s bar type chain. So if you like Champp’s, or Red Robin, or Fuddrucker’s, or Dave & Buster’s, or Buffalo Wild Wings, then this place should suit you.

The food is not the same caliber as the Monroe ave location. The service is shoddy too. We ordered take-out wings, and they forgot the blue cheese. My husband went back and let them know, and they stated«There’s really no way of knowing you didn’t take the blue cheese out already» and charged him for«extra» blue cheese. Lovely. Is management not outraged reading these kind of reviews? Seems like no changes are happening.

What a crappy place! It is as rotten as the choice of run down boards to build it. What was the owner thinking??? LOUD! Holy crap! I heard the food was bad and and the level of sound was crazy but we decided to go and check it out. My folks went there the second week of operation and they said the place miss served them scotch, an argument ensued between the waitress and my folks(77 and 80) whether it was scotch or not, needless to say the waitress won and was not going to lose. We went there today for lunch, around noon and the place was freezing. $ 5.99 for 5 wings!!! Two of the drumsticks were so scrawny, remember when Jeremiah’s served the wings they claim they are known for? $ 10 for a cheeseburger that got lost in the bun and came to us well done when requested medium rare and $ 13 for a steak salad? You would think the owner lives near OAKHILLCOUNTRYCLUB and has to support his mansion, yacht and Lambo! Disappointed! Let down! Ears hurt! I’m still hungry cause it wasn’t worth finishing. I think I’ll step it up and go to Don’s Original!
