I enjoyed eating lunch with my friend here. This is a Desi (Indian /​Pakistani) restaurant which also offers Asian Fusion dishes. They have a good size restaurant compared to other desi places in SOFL. The restaurant seemed clean and orderly. There was one other table occupied when we arrived. The server had written the big table’s order so she helped us right away.
We ordered a few dishes immediately since my friend had been here before and I let her pick everything out for us to eat. They serve family style so it was perfect for sharing.
In Asian dishes, the chicken lo mein was excellent with great seasoning and right amount of sauce. We also ordered a chicken Manchurian however that was mediocre, it needed more flavor. The naan (bread) were freshly prepared and was delicious. The tandoori chicken pieces were good but were a tad bit dry. My favorite was the flavorful chicken lo mein dish.
I have tried their some other Indian specialties at a party previously and they did not disappoint. Next time at Shahi Restaurant I would try their Indian dishes to see how they compare to the catered event. Would recommend this restaurant to try good Desi food.~

The food there is absolutely phenomenal very authentic Indian food. I go there at least once a week for dinner.

New management. This is a wonderful restaurant. Visited today with friends… ordered mutton biriyani, chicken biriyani, butter chicken and a few other things. Everything was delish! Ended the meal with masala tea. a milky tea with spices. Will definitely come back.

I tried this place in November. It wasn’t good at all. The had buffet that had watery mutton curry, only bones in it. And all their other dishes didn’t have any taste to it. Definitely not authentic Indian

One of the only properly built Pakistani restaurants in Broward county. Really liked the remodeled location which is pretty spacious and not too compact like most desi joints. We have had there chinese which is simply amazing but tried the bbq platters this time and the philly sub. I would say the bbq almost reminded me of karachi. If you dont mind spiciness (and tastebuds n tummy have that desi infrastructure to hold on) go for the mixed platters which have a little bit of their grill specialities. Naans were fresh off the oven and really tasty. Always loved there chinese and ramadan specials but now i guess im a fan of there bbq as well!

It has been my third time here. Went for buffet. Overpriced at $ 16. Food was cold and not fresh. Not going there again.

I RECOMMEND YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. It was around 8 PM on a Friday night and there was only two other guests besides us in the restaurant. We decided to give it a shot anyway. Unfortunately we made a huge mistake. This is the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We went for the buffet, half the food in the buffet was cold and the rice was stale, basically hard as a rock. There are much better Indian restaurants with better quality food and service than this place. The owner was also very wierd. While my wife and I were eating we would constantly see him peeping from the kitchen door window watching us eat which was very uncomfortable. I would recommend others to save there money and go elsewhere for a better dining experience.

If you like Indian food– this is the best one in town for sure! Highly recommended.

Starting with the positive, this restaurant is quite spacious and looks neat. The girls manning the counter were friendly and prompt. I had ordered a tandoori chicken and kebab platter and a kadhai goat. They serve a complimentary naan with each dish. The food was a huge disappointment. While the kebab tasted just average, and I am being generous, the texture of the meat was unappetizing. I could tell while breaking the pieces with my hand that this meat had seen better days. The kadhai goat was swimming in oil and was very chewy. We ordered a spice level of medium-​spicy and the dish was overwhelmingly sweet! I am not going to recommend this to anyone if I am to keep the credibility of my Indian palate. There are definitely better places in town.

I try as many of these places as I can in south Florida and order buttered chicken (hot), rice and Naan to gauge. This is one of the best. Great taste, good service, good portions and good prices! Thanks!

Tried coming to Shahi several times but it was always packed. Today I was able to get seated and ordered a shahi burger. My parents got the buffet. The burger and buffet were both average. The service and atmosphere for a Pakistani/​Indian restaurant was great. They serve Pakistani, Chinese and American food so the they a really good variety. Another plus is everything is halal.

The food here is great. Amazing Indian Chinese and authentic Indian dishes. All of the food here is halal. The service is great. All of the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is a great place to bring your family for dinner on the weekends. If you’re looking for tasty halal indo-​Chinese and Indian food you must come here! Thank you Shahi!

One of the best halal desi restaurants I have been to. Strongly recommend their BBQ platter, breaded Manchurian, Hot n Sour soup, and their Philly subs… Their kheer and shahi falooda top up the dessert cravings… Looking forward to going back there soon. The owner is a good listener and is very accommodating, if you have any concern (s), he will ensure they’re resolved…

Love love love this place! Awesome service! They treat my boyfriend & I like royalty. The food is delicious! Authentic Indian, Paki & Chinese food. Each dish I’ve tried has been 5 stars! Highly recommended for lunch, dinner, date night & even family gatherings!

Best Indian, Pakistani and Chinese Resturant in the Broward County. There Mutton Biriyani is one of my favorite. Even when I was in India I didn’t taste as good as this. I recommend this to anyone.
