This place is a Must Go! I came across this place while searching for somewhere new for lunch that’s close to my job. What a great success! The ambience is cozy, clean, and very welcoming. I ordered the oxtail, rice and beans and plantains. It was a perfect 10. Nice and hot, plantains tasted like my grandmas kitchen in Domincan Republic. Oxtail was so flavorful! I was told it is very mild in regard to how spicy. For someone who does not like even a tingle on my tongue it was tolerable by my standards. I highly recommend this place. Healthy options also available at this place for the health conscious!

This place is worth the drive. The food is so fresh and flavorful. The staff is courteous and professional. My wife and I wanted to change our palette from carnivore to vegetarian thank god we found Red Yabba. If you are in Pembroke Pines please stop by you will not be disappointed.

The oxtail, chicken, curried goat and pad thai were all amazing. So excited that our friends actually introduced us to Red Yabba. The gluten free carrot cake was yummylicious as well… Definitely will be back.

Great oxtail and curried goat! I think their jerk chicken sauce could be a little thicker and spicier. The gluten free carrot cake was delicious and is highly recommended. Charming and friendly staff as well.

Delicious! Normally Caribbean cuisine is tasty, served in bulk, but also leaves you feeling a little guilt on the side. Not in the case of Red Yabba. This place prides on everything food should be, natural, nutritious, and full of flavor. As you walk in you get the feeling that this place is not your average Caribbean cuisine place. The bottles drinks offered on a small fridge by the main counter all show that they are freshly made, non-gmo products and no additives. Then as you take a look at the Menu, you see all kinds of delicious options that are made on order. The menu offers salads that you can select or make your own, natural juices made on the spot with superfood additions, sweets, sandwiches, and of course the delicious Jamaican dishes. The portions are small and large but will fill you up and leave you satisfied regardless of your choice. I recommend the Curried Garlic Plantain stuffed Chicken Breast. It takes about 20 minutes to be prepared but it is very delicious and it is available from a choice of sides in which I chose rice & peas and some sautéed veggies. I also had some Jerk Chicken which was perfectly seasoned and will leave you wanting more. Lastly I highly recommend the bottled natural juices available, especially the Sorrel juice. It has a hint of ginger as you taste it and makes washing down that meal effortless. As for the service, the ladies were very well mannered and helpful and the orders came out fast. If you order something that takes time to prepare you are given the option to give a phone number so you can walk around elsewhere and be called back whenever. Very helpful! Will return soon for sure, it has earned its 5 stars!

I looooove this spot! Food is definitely on point. Healthy, flavorful, and light. You will not feel heavy after you eat it, and you will feel good. We had quite a few dishes and every single one was delicious. My favorite part is the people that work here. Very kind and engaging. Food doesn’t run out like in most Jamaican restaurants. This place makes you feel good to come here, good to eat here, and sad to leave! Oxtail is on point. Get the cheesecake for real. You’ll get blown away! I dunno how they think of these amazing recipes. So healthy and clean. I love businesses that stand up for good causes(like clean eating). Highly recommended.

Amazing!!! Everyone needs Red Yabba in there LIFE! I searched around for vegetarian choices and was led here. Ordered the falafel wrap but wanted it spicy. OMG it was perfect! I believe they added some jerk seasoning or something and it was delish! The ladies that work there were very attentive and pleasant. ANOTHERPLUS… nice people. Didn’t want to leave. I will definitely be back before my vacation ends. Ah if I only lived here…

Very clean with a nice ambiance and friendly staff! We started off with the RY trio platter, which comes with a seed pâté, guacamole and hummus. The pâté was definitely the winner! The lentil soup was also very good, and best of all, vegan friendly. My dad had the curry chicken roti, which he really enjoyed. While I had the roasted veggie panini, it was okay but nothing to rave about. The vegan cheesecake was delicious! They give you an option of chocolate or strawberry sauce, obviously we went for both! Tracey was great, and we will definitely be coming back!

When I go to a restaurant and they advocate Vegan, I would think they would have Vegan Roti skins for their Roti and Vegan breads to have a Vegan sandwich. Unfortunately, they don’t. That makes me to unhappy. After trying to order a Vegan Veggie Roti which i was told the ROTI is NOTVEGAN. Then i went to order a vegetable PANINI and was told that also is NOT Vegan, they DON’T have any Vegan Breads.

Really yummy food ! Wanted to try out this lil gem :) it’s actually 5 mins away from my house & I never even noticed it. Anyway, I had the curried garbanzo with veggies and plantains with sweet potato, mmmmmm. Everything was yummy the downside was the wait. The owner/manager apologized because there was a chef missing he out was sick. Other than that the food is awesome, I would definitely come again. I kinda wish the portions are a lot bigger for the price.

Simply outstanding vegetarian and vegan friendly dining. At the Red Yabba near Flamingo on Pines the meals are hearty and heartfelt. I had never known that plantains could be so authentically natural and fulfilling. What they did with whole grain rice and curry garbanzo beans was amazing. The food was soooo absolutely healthy and soooo absolutely delicious. It was seasoned in a way that is hard to describe. I remember saying to my dinner companion that it made my whole body feel warm, but not hot. It was an endearing experience that I hope to repeat again and again. The Red Yabba for me was truly an adventure in culture and appetite. I learned a lot about food, and the friends that are around us here in South Florida.

I just stopped in to view their menu. I ended up just getting the red peas soup. No meat and no dumplings. It was so delicious. Who knew the soup could have so much flavor without the meat.

First time visiting Red Yabba. Came here for lunch by myself. Decided to get the jerk chicken wrap. It was pretty big and very filling. It said with rice & peas and for some reason I thought the rice & peas was going to be on the side. However it was in the wrap. The wrap was delicious and came with chips and salsa. I ate half and took the other half home for my son. The wrap had jerk chicken, mango salsa, rice & peas, lettuce(I think) and cucumber. Next time I get a wrap I would probably see if I could get it without the rice & peas just because it was too many carbs for me. The service was great and the people very friendly. I would definitely go back and try a smoothie or another item on the menu.

My best friend’s daughter is Vegan and we were so happy to have found Red Yabba! We will be back! Earlier this week I ordered Jerk Chicken(white meat) for lunch and it was not dry with rice and peas. Tonight we had the Power Veggie wrap and my godson had the fish sandwich. Fresh vegetables, crisp and flavorful, moist carrot cake(gluten free but not vegan) and a yummy pumpkin soup. They offer juices and smoothies, and they also offer vegan cheesecake, soups, salad bar, entrees sandwiches and wraps. But the best part was the quiet and clean ambiance, soft music and the loveliest people. They were super nice and their smiles evoked a great positive energy. My best friend’s daughter said she was in heaven. Thank you for a great evening dinner!

Pleasant surprise to find this oasis. Friendly staff. Multiple options on the menu for freshly squeezed beverages, smoothies and shakes. They even serve coconut water in the actual coconut. I had the freshly squeezed pineapple juice, so refreshing. I had the curry chicken rotti very well put together. The raisins, spinach leaves and pineapples was a nice garnish. Gluten free chocolate chip cookie yum yum. Oh! They also have free wifi. However they ambiance is fitting for relaxed conversation. Great place for a 1st date for healthy conscious couple looking for fair pricing.

I’m sad I haven’t found this place sooner. Ever since I moved down here, I’ve been meaning to find some good restaurants for Caribbean food. Red Yabba provides home style Jamaican cooking, that’s also healthy conscious. Not only can I get my fix for oxtail and curry chicken, I can also get organic juices, wheat grass shots, fresh coconut juice, and smoothies. They have extra add ons like whey protein, chia seeds, and spirulina. They have wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups– which plenty of them have vegan options, and even gluten free desserts. As for the Jamaican cuisine, I can’t get enough of their oxtail. I’ve tried their marinated herb chicken, which was coated with pesto– but I still prefer their entrees with sauce(oxtail, curries) so the rice can soak up all the flavors.

I’ve had Red Yabba bookmarked for quite some time and after hearing rave reviews recently yet AGAIN, I decided to make my way there and try out for myself. I ordered the smoothie with chocolate, peanut butter and banana, the veggie burger with cheese and the chips and hummus. My favorite part of this establishment… whole foods. Lots of organic, vegetarian and vegan options so everyone is happy. Service as noted on other reviews is great. Upon walking in, you go straight to the counter where you place an order and then take a seat. The menu varies although most of it centers around some island food staples… which I’d like to come back on a hungry day and try. Channel 10’s Calvin Harris walked in for dinner as we were there and while I’d have loved to take an undercover selfie, I chose to give him privacy and catch him at another time! This place seems to have its regular of customers since many coming in and out were addressed on a first name basis so I’m sure I’ll see him again. Nice and simple, nothing fancy– so let the food speak for itself– bursting with flavor and all around good. Looking forward to some jerk on my return… Chicken that is!
