LongHorn Steakhouse

Very disappointed with the service and quality of the food. My family and I have been coming here for years and in the past year we noticed new management and have had several bad experiences. First time they tried giving us a smaller steak than what we ordered and after our complaints they accommodated us. On two other occasions the wait time for our meal was excessive. Not to mention they brought us a steak full of fat and they realized it wasn’t what we had ordered after complaining. The good thing is that prices are reasonable for steaks but it’s a hit or miss lately.

I’m only giving this restaurant 3 stars because I love coming here. My boyfriend and I come maybe once a week to get some steaks and we’re never disappointed. He orders the T-​Bone and I get the classic renegade and we’ve yet to be let down. The service we get is usually always OK, no complaints. This time, we ordered takeout and when we arrived, we decided to just switch it for here instead and have some drinks at the bar. The bartender, who never told us her name, I assume it was Kari because it said so on the receipt, seemed upset and annoyed that two young people like us sat at the bar. Nonetheless, I am actually a bartender right up the street and my boyfriend is a server, so we know the business. She brought our food out and slammed it on the bar and walked away. It wasn’t until we were halfway done is when she came back to ask us if we decided what we wanted to drink. At this point we were already about to just ask for the check to leave, but decided the just take the drinks instead. The drinks were awesome, made to perfection, but her service could’ve been a little nicer. You never know who you’re serving, don’t judge a book by its cover. We’re excellent tippers since we do work in the bizz who never leave less than 25%, but this time she didn’t deserve anymore than the usual 15%. Definitely coming back because we love the location, but never sitting with her at the bar again.

Went there today…
I was stuck between getting a steak and eating their salmon. I’m always skeptical of eating salmon from restaurants because I love the way I cook mine. Well, I ordered the salmon with sweet potato and it was really really good.
Top it off. The waiter was very good!

We’re local and we love Longhorne like nothing else. Been to Longhornes in other states. We love the food. This location has only been the best. Luckily we only live a few miles away. Today, we had a great waitress and a small issue with the term to one of our steaks. Thankfully, Julian Giraldo (manager) took care of it immediately. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you for your great service.

Normally love coming here and sitting at the bar for brunch. The food is good but I just had to walk out after seeing how gross the bar area was being kept. I know you can be busy but that was disgusting.

I have lived in this area for just over 13 years and only been to this place probably around five times including today. With the other restaurants having issues this one today was perfect. The waitress took care of us to make sure everything was done. the food was delicious.
I ordered the new steak and bacon cheddar melt with slices of steak with cheese and bacon and side of french fries. it was very delicious.
I will definitely come again soon

As my previous post indicated, this used to be one our favorite restaurants in P Pines. However, on the last visit, the waitress indicated that they no longer served peanuts in the shell, this is like Outback without the Bloomin’ Onion or Hooters without wings. Service is still good, and food is good, but we won’t come back till peanuts are served again. Please don’t tell me it is to upgrade you image— so long as you have a dead animal head hanging on the wall— we aren’t going to talk upgrading images. From now on, it is Texas Roadhouse for us.

Great service. Just don’t sit in the back by the kitchen. Great drinks. And great food.

Always a nice place. They renew their menu very often. Big portions and this location is quiet and plenty of parking spaces. Our waiter, Kari very professional. The manager passed by to check on us several time. We left happy.

Looking forward to the grilled sirloin. Longhorn is a favorite not only with me, but my entire family!!! I have a coupon for a free dessert!!! The new banana cream pie!!!

had lunch on a Thursday. Sat in the bar, booths. the bartender/​server was attentive and had great up sell ideas. my seafood chowder and salad was plenty. Great experience.

Took my mother here for Mother’s Day … There were 6 people in our party – half of us drove to Pembroke Pines from Naples. I called 2 weeks in advance to see about a reservation and they weren’t taking them, so we got there around noon and waited about a half hour for a table. (Totally expected, and not a bad wait time for Mother’s Day.)
Once we sat down, we waited another 10 minutes for our server to come take drink orders, then another 15 minutes before we got our drinks. My fiancé actually had to get up and go find our waiter and ask about them. 3 of the 5 of us had to send our steaks back because they were under-​cooked, and 2 of the 3 of us got the wrong side dishes …
It was a very annoy experience, to say the least. I understand restaurants get busy, but I shouldn’t have to eat a nuked steak because you’re over capacity.

Anthony was a very good waiter. We had an 8 ounce filet and a dozen grilled shrimp on a skewer. Our sides were sweet spicy corn and mac & cheese. For dessert we had the chocolate malton cake with vanilla ice cream. A delicious meal and rather affordable.

First time coming to this location. My food was sooooo good. I ordered the NewYork Strip with a butter sauce on it, came out awesome. Juicy and packed with flavor. On the other hand my boyfriend ordered ribs, they weren’t too good. But I guess that’s why it’s a steak house. Anyways, the waiter was very at tentative. Can’t complain.

Longest we dinner ever! We waited 35 minutes to be seated but waited over an hour for our food to come out! Waiter never came back to check on us and another 15 waiting for our check to come. Food was fine but service needs improvement!

Steak was dry, and not how I ordered it (medium rare). I had mushrooms and onions with it, but the onions felt like it was foaming up when I was chewing it. Felt and tasted horrible. I don’t like complaining, but I’m never going back there again for steaks.

I was there last week and the service was awesome! I had the lamb chops with a baked potato and they were delicious. Our server was amazing and attended to all of our needs. The manager even came over to see how things were going.
The only disappointment was they no longer served the rainbow trout.

This place has excellent steaks. I always enjoy the special cuts and the woderful rissotto on the side. Sadly the rissotto was taken off the menu but they were able to make it for me at my request.
Anyway excellent service and great food, I would like to have more variety of wines in the menu.

LongHorn Steakhouse is always a good place to visit during lunch. With their great menu and unlimited honey wheat bread, there is certainly something for anyone in your party. We came for a work lunch and I ordered the usual seven pepper steak salad. The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking and the greens were fresh and crisp. The bleu cheese definitely accentuated the salad in a nice way.
