So first off let me start with saying that if you’re looking for a cheap hotel and somewhere to crash for a night, this is not a terrible option. Other than that, my suggestion is to NOT stay there. I should’ve looked at the reviews on Trip Advisor which were spot on. Entering the resort you will think«hey this isn’t so bad.» The location is prime as there are a lot of shopping centers nearby and 75 is less than a mile away. But as I checked in, I realized I made a mistake booking this location for 4 nights. This place needs a renovation bad and ASAP. It’s dimly lit and of course my room was in the back corner with barely any light. The room numbers don’t make any sense… one wall is odd numbers, while the back hallway is all even numbers. Oh and did I mention there are no elevators? So you can forget any ADA accommodations. I asked the front desk lady and she said«no honey there’s only 2 floors.» Go figure but come on… I was traveling with my pregnant sister so this was a major inconvenience. The room is small with the windows facing the hallway. The pictures on the wall were crooked. There’s no comforter or even a tacky floral quilt you might expect at a place like this. Instead they provided a thin sheet and a terry cloth cover that didn’t even cover my feet. The ac didn’t work overnight, which didn’t help with our lovely neighbors next to us. At around 9 pm my mom asked if there was a skunk. Sorry mom, just good ‘ol marijuana seeping through the thin walls and through the ac unit. Needless to say we left the next day. The only good thing was the front desk was able to refund me my next 3 nights. As I walked out I heard the front desk lady whisper«guess she wants her money back fast.» I sure did after staying a night that seemed like weekend at Bernie’s.

The golf course is nice. The property is old & rooms are in need of desperate renovation. The outside corridors are not kept up & I was very happy to not have to use the ice machine. I’m not sure how this property is stays in business.

GREATVALUE for one or two nights We have stayed in rooms ranging from $ 500/night to $ 40/night. So for this property, you must keep the COST/ACCOMMODATIONS ratio in mind. The rooms are more Motel, than Hotel style. Very simple layout. Bed is average and firm, no luxury mattresses here. Pillows were comfortable though. Carpets are old(recommend bedroom slippers). Bed, Shower, toilet and sink were clean. TV is old style 32 inch, no flat screens here. They do have FREE Wi-Fi though. I was impressed. It was fast and convenient. Air conditioning unit is attached to the wall. In our room, every time it came on to cool, it was very loud. It was tolerable since I was only staying one night with my wife. The FREE continental breakfast had a pleasant surprise, FRESHHOTWAFFLES! Honestly, we could tell this property has a limited budget. I would recommend for 1 or 2 nights based on proximity to our family and the cost was $ 30 less/night to their local competitors. 3 or more nights and I would pay the extra $ 30/night for a few more luxuries. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous. The staff member managing the continental breakfast did a great job too. It was a busy breakfast room, but she was in control. I left her a few dollars tip, she earned it. We will return to stay the next time we come to visit our family.
