What Brian S. said. I had stopped here a few years ago and it made a huge impression on me. I’m thrilled Brian added it to Unilocal and reviewed it to not only remind me to stop, but also to give me the name and address. We were short on time but I went out of my way to make a point to stop here and again I wasn’t disappointed. It is room upon room of handcrafted items. There is something in that store to satisfy every taste. The prices are beyond reasonable, especially considering you are in a tourist area. My husband was with me and after I checked out he commented he couldn’t believe how low the price was for all that I bought. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You’ll walk away with a nice non-​tourist trap souvenir for yourself.

My friend and I were busy shopping as our husbands wandered through the store. Unfortunately, based on my husband’s photos, we did not have time to see the whole shop! So many beautiful items — it just boggles the mind. Each room was a «wow» experience. This shop is a destination unto itself, not a «let stop and see» on the way elsewhere as we did.

This store is absolutely amazing. The old building has at least a dozen rooms and hallways just filled with wonderful and creative arts & crafts items. Just so many different things that you can spend a whole heap of tie inside.
All the items are made by Maine artists and craft people and the variety and all of the interesting colors, shapes and uses of the different items is impressive.
Just about every type of cute, funny or sentimental crafty things can be found somewhere inside. Things out of wood, cloth, stone and paper. it’s all here.
Toys, clothing, garden ornaments, photos, drawings, animal stuff, holiday things, furniture, decorations and lots of cool items that exist for no reason other than to look nice.
A wonderful store that is especially great around the holidays. Definitely not a tacky tourist store although some cool souvenirs can be found here. There are some amazing, cool and very fun things lurking in this old red building.
