There’s no secret as to why this place is packed every day. The best Pizza, and absolutely the best minestrone soup you ever tasted. Loaded with vegetables and thick like your spoon could almost stand up in it. I couldn’t wait to dip the small Italian loaf that came with the soup at the end. Mamma Mia«What a soup! And sautéed broccoli. No stems like other places give you. These hard working guys deserve their own TV show. Pelham is on the map for good.

Amazing food and friendly atmosphere. Order the eggplant pizza(eggplant is crunchy and adds a nice texture and flavor to the thick slice of pizza) and penne with vodka sauce. I always order penne with vodka sauce when it is avalible at restraunts and have never found a place that serves it better than here. The dish has the perfect mix of of creamy/sweet to salty and crispy bacon bits. Hightly reccomend this place!!!

The best pizza in NY! Their sausage slice is my favorite, you cannot go wrong. Also go for their white slice and buffalo chicken slice… yum!

Hmm. $ 3.75 for their«reverse» slice when the regular slices are $ 2.50 each? Seems like a gross over charge to me. It’s not like there are extra toppings on there. I think Johnny’s does this style of pizza better IMO. I went out of my way to come here today, don’t think I’ll be returning.

By far The Best Pizzeria in New York hands down. It’s always cooked just right, never under cooked. The prices are very good as well.

The fried zucchini was crispy and melt in your mouth delicious. We ordered the choose your own 6 topping pizza pie and it was everything I love about New York Pizza. I miss my 3 Boys From Italy on Burke Avenue, but this place has may give them a run for their money if they ever open again.

Absolutely fantastic! Probably some of the best pizza that I’ve had around the city. The sausage and lasagna pizza is fantastic!

Love their pizza, esp. The regular pizza and spinach pizza. Always busy there. Reasonable price, too.

This place is just really not that good. I would say mediocre at best. There’s definitely better pizza in Pelham — not sure why this place is always so packed.

Simply put: the best pizza anywhere. Crispy with perfectly seasoned toppings, from delicious sausage to healthy veggie combos. Lasagna pizza a real winner if you love lasagna and pizza! I dream of that slice! Happy playful staff in joyful neighborhood setting if you’re dining in. Great at home if you just want to pop by for take out. If you have a pizza stone, beautiful reheat next day. There’s a reason this place has been around so long! Mangia!

We’ve picked up twice from here, trying different pizzas, and enjoying every time. Satisfies even the pickiest pizza connoisseur and delights young and older alike! Try the lasagna pizza for something different and yummy or go classic with margarita or a meat lover’s with pepperoni and sausage.

We have gone here for dinner three times since moving to town… last week. It’s that delicious. I love the eggplant pizza. My dream come true! I wish they delivered. That’s the only downside. Although I can picture driving over to pick up food during the winter. The reason I give them 4⁄5 stars is that the crust is so hard it’s difficult to eat. You know, the top part where there’s no sauce to soften it up. So that makes me sad but I enjoy the entire slice up to that point!

Great pizza, my favorite. But make sure you check with them if they’re still open, they tend to close earlier than their hours say

My favorite pizzeria in town. Everyone is so nice and friendly. It’s a very good crowd/environment for kids. It’s cheap, makes great pizza and pasta, and everyone is so nice. The only downside is that it’s usually packed. but other than that definitely my favorite!

What a great little spot for a quick slice. The pizza was fresh and the staff were pleasing. Coming from North Carolina and being used to souther hospitality, I felt right at home. I enjoyed a slice of cheese and a slice of sausage. Seating was plentiful, parking was metered(0.25 cents per 20 minutes) and the adjacent businesses offer plenty of browsing to walk off the calories. Id definitely come back to enjoy some of their other menu options. Only suggestion I would make is to have a better system of collecting glass bottles instead of allowing them to collect on top of the trash can. While I was there, a guy knocked over the bottles and shattered a few on the ground while trying to dispose of his waste. Overall, AWESOME!

I have eaten here at Pelham pizzeria at least 6 times first time reviewing it but must say each and every time that I’ve come here, I don’t have one complaint about it first time I came I had a slice of pizza since I was hungry and had to go the second time I came I came with my wife and kids we had a small pie and a chicken parmesan for me and my son my wife had the grilled chicken salad and once again I must say everything was great I mean if you mess up on pizza then you really should be a restaurant a plus for this place

It’s a true testament to a restaurant’s staying power when, despite almost always having long lines, not doing delivery AND being cash only, it is consistently packed. Such is the case with Pelham Pizza. The guys are great, each with a bigger personality than the last and making you feel like you’d known them forever. And then there’s the food. I once purchased a gnocchi entrée that was so big, it fed every person at our table(there were seven of us). I love the arugula salad(and arugula slice), both of which comes with mozzarella, arugula, tomatoes and balsamic glaze. They have delicious italian ices(I’m a fan of the almond) and really, you can’t go wrong with any of the options on the menu.

Pelham Pizza is my favorite pizza place in the world. I’ve been coming here since I was a child when my grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins lived right around the block. Even as a kid I knew that Pelham Pizza was special. Their pizza, pasta dishes, italian ices, stromboli… EVERYTHING is tasty and inexpensive. Even though I don’t live in NY anymore, I visit whenever possible and find it comforting that the same people(or family members of the older generation that used to work there) are taking orders and engaging with the community. I always sit in the same booth with pictures of little league sports teams my uncle coached and my cousins played on. It is such a special place for me and my family. The pizza is second to none. Without a doubt, my favorite slice is the eggplant. Pelham Pizza’s fried eggplant is second only to my grandmother’s. This slice is heavy and one makes me extremely full. Year after year, their sauce and ingredients never change and you can always expect the highest quality food. Mango italian ice is my favorite, but the red white and blue one will always bring back many childhood memories. I live in Connecticut but go far out of my way to visit. I’ll take any chance I can get to bring people there and will be going back for many years to come. Thank you for your consistently wonderful food and service!
