Been there several times in the past year and have never been disappointed. Closes week nights at 5PM but pleased to learn that they are open for dinner until 7PM on Fri and Sat. Take out too. Their sandwiches are really terrific. Love Reuben and Kathleen’s Bit. However, highlights are their salads which are absolutely the best in the area. Fresh varieties of greens some mixed with fruit in generous proportions. Loved the Lucian and Best Spinach. Menu changes with seasons and recently tried their Root Vegetable entrée on the winter menu and highly recommend. Tried delicious Apple crisp and Petit Fours for dessert. Staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Can be crowded for weekend lunches so be prepared for high estrogen atmosphere.

Very cool and very eclectic. The place was packed on a Tuesday lunch when I went there. Which is a great sign because Tuesday’s are normally slow days, and if they fill the place on a Tuesday it must be good. The sandwich I had was great with a small little side salad. But being a tea room they need to have great tea. The list is so long it’s almost intimidating but they broke the teas into sections and had flavor profiles for each tea which makes it more manageable. The waitress was Also able to help us pick out teas that she thought we would like.

It was my first time at the tea room and I absolutely fell in love. The staff was very friendly, and the service was great. It’s a beautiful place, tea cups & tea pots were adorable. Not to mention the food was scrumptious can’t wait for my next visit!

My mother-in-law and daughters had been asking to go to this place for a long time. I sucked it up, made a reservation, put on a virtual skirt and shuffled them over to the restaurant. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The kids loved the sampler platter and the various teas they could order. I’m also a tea fan and found I could buy some to take home, which I did. The place is charming, ambiance is intimate, service was attentive and choices were surprisingly good. I was able to find some manly food, too. This place is not just for the ladies, as I quickly found out. We will definitely be going back, many times. I will make sure to bring my girls as a cover…

Attention tea lovers! Splendiferous experience. The minute you walk in you feel that cozy happy feeling that makes you smile. The place is decorated beautifully with different teapots and teacups lining the walls. I popped in after having come from lunch so i missed out on their entrees but i can tell you about the tea and snacks. Tea… I ordered two pots. The first was the«paris» which was a black tea with vanilla and citrus flavors and the other«monks blend» blk tea with vanilla and a hint of grenadine. They were both delicious and the serve crystalized sugar which was a nice change. I had a scone with clotted cream and fresh fruit just to have the full experience. This would be a great place to have a mother-daughter afternoon or midday date idea. Hearts all around. Oooo and the Barbra Streisand playing on low only made the experience 10 times better :)

{I finally am writing my review Joseph!} Came here one lovely morning after my birthday with friends. I will say, I was skeptical about this place bc family members have gone in the past and just been very underwhelmed and not impressed. Anyway, I figured I had to experience it for myself and I am happy I did. Saturday morning around 11 and it was empty at this point in the morning. Apparently the window seats get reserved much in advance bc they are the best and ‘coolest cats’ seats. but BAMMMMM! We were actually able to sit in the window bc the reserved party wasnt coming until later in the day and we were only going to dine for less than an hour. Everyone ordered something different– orange almond cake, soup, some scones, crumpets and 4 – 5 pots of various teas. Teas were SCALDING hot and my soup was banging tasty for housemade chicken noodle. I wish i could have taken a vat home. Oh and now, I know what ‘clotted cream’ is even though it’s the most digusting two words put together and still makes me gag to say it or think it. [I’m sensitive to word placement…] Overall, this place was chintzy, whimsical and cute. I would definitely venture back and it was also very reasonable in price. Btw the 5 of us, it was about $ 11 a person. Not bad for a Sat morning tea stop :) Cheerio
