The manager here is discriminating and rude. The workers are catty and rude as well. Look, it’s not nice to gossip about me while I’m standing in the same room. I CAN hear you! Grow up and have some class! I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in an atmosphere that should be inviting to make all feel good about themselves. A place to enjoy relaxation and be pampered. The facility is nice, but the majority of people working here are not. If you’re one of the nicer employees working here, I would recommend working some place else.

Launis gave me the most wonderful massage. Her 20 years of experience shows. She specializes in therapeutic massages and showed many stretches. I only wish I could move her to Atlanta!

I wouldn’t recommend. We paid for the day use fee and the jets in the spa were not working and we weren’t told until after we paid. The sauna room does not have music in it and the inhalation room has glass windows on it so everyone can see inside. All 3 of the areas(spa, sauna and inhalation room) are in an area where the showers are and the staff hangs out back there talking… it was loud and bright and not relaxing at all. The aromatherapy machine kept making a ticking sound so no relaxation there either. I just couldn’t understand why none of the rooms had music and weren’t more dim and quiet.

«Need to spoil my crazy ass girlfriend» he says Leave it to my boyfriend knowing how to score on Valentines. And oh, how did he «score». I digress. We arrived for our romantic weekend to watch a little golf, eat a shit ton but most importantly get some quality downtime. Well, downtime for me while the boy raced around the gold course watching all his man crushes whack their balls. Serene, quiet bliss all the elements one could ever want(or need) in a spa. After all, I am the spa queen and I know.

We stayed at the Lodge I took a Day at the SPA while my husband played a round of Golf. It had full amenities to choose from. I think I spent seven hours of pampering. Such an Amazing place to relax and Get Away I was able to take in a small Nap in the Sanctuary room without any interruptions it was fabulous, with two treatments, and followed up with Shampoo and Style from a Wonderful Stylist.

My mom recently had surgery for cervical cancer so It was really important to me that I plan the most perfect, relaxing spa day for her. I pretty much looked up every luxury spa between SF and Monterey. After calling and talking to many different spas about their services and amenities I had maybe the best customer service experience of my life with Mary Jane Tomlin from the Spa at Pebble beach. She was so kind, warm, and knowledgeable and she did absolutely everything she could to listen to what I wanted and make my moms spa day really special. My mom was raving about what a great massage she received and how beautiful the spa was. I’m really happy with my decision and I’m really impressed with the customer service provided by the faculty at the spa!

I love this place. And while I’ve had a couple off events, they have always rectified them. The place is beautiful and love the area.

Such a wonderful experience! The spa is calm and well ran. The ladies working at the front handle themselves with class and dignity. While my check in was quick and error free; I did get to witness one that was not as smooth as needed. The team really kept their composure in a very heated situation. I went for a massage and was delighted to see the quiet room. That was by far my favorite place. No cell phones or chatty people laying about, just readers, sleepers and me.

Great customer service from Heidi, Called to get information about the spa for the in-law anniversary. She explained all about the packagers and how does it works. After we shopped around, we decided to book the spa at Pebble Beach. Called in the morning, try to ask for Heidi, but she was’t there. Another lady tried to help but it seems to be so much complicated(I made a call while at work). She ask me so many question, put me on hold and then will connect me to gift card person to process gift card. I had to hang up because it was to much headache. Later afternoon, I did call back and BOOM, Heidi answered the phone, she helped me get the package done quickly. Will recommend her if you need to make reservation in Pebble beach spa. Will update how my in– law like the spa.

I loved this spa and have visited two different times, most recently Nov 2013. The spa is the real deal with all the special extras. Their little snack bars I remember being ridiculously good. I especially enjoyed reading by the fireplace in the outdoor patio area /room. It is a neat room and if you enjoy reading I would suggest making extra time before or after your treatments just to enjoy that area. The prices are very steep but its Pebble Beach, what do you expect. I would go again, strictly as a splurge. Expect to pay about $ 250 for 80 min massage.

Shockingly unfortunate, but I have had the WORST possible customer service experience with Pebble Beach Resorts. Too long to explain, but I’m posting everywhere, to everyone I know and everyone I meet through work or pleasure, strongly discouraging the patronage of such a business. Stick to Post Ranch Inn or anywhere else. PBI, you’re «selling» a lovely experience, not a living nightmare. TERRIBLE. OK, I’ll Cliff notes it: my sister purchased a gift certificate for me, I never received it, turns out one of their employees stole it(which I was told was not uncommon), and then they had the audacity to say they weren’t responsible & could not reissue it!!! Eventually they did, but I had to pursue it for months! No accountability on their end! NO apology! I don’t understand how this is acceptable service. The industry is called«Hospitality» for a reason. I could’ve just let the $ go, but it’s a spa, not a charity. The spa facilities were lovely, except that you could hear plumbing & other guests through the walls of your spa room.

I’d take anyone here. They have some things that I haven’t seen at other spas. Very enjoyable. Book an appointment and plan to stay for the amenities.

The facilities are beautiful. Another reviewer called it «huge» which leads me to believe they have not visited many spas. It’s big and spread out, don’t get me wrong but I felt the inhalation room, sauna and jacuzzi areas in particular are quite small spaces. 3 – 4 people in each of these areas would feel awkward. However there is room to roam and you can move around as needed. Our group of 4 gals arrived about 11am for The Walk in the Forest package. The facilities we practically empty but as we were leaving around 3, there we many more people milling about in the areas. The women who did the scrub and massage were true service professionals. This was more than a job to them, they truly seemed to want to help us relax and enjoy ourselves. I appreciate that when it’s an automatic gratuity situation because there have been times other places when I’ve wished I could asked for it back! Rest assured, not here. My facial was lovely as well. I should have told her in the beginning though that I was hoping for a little siesta during my service and that I did not need a play by play of what she was doing or what was coming next. Live and learn. However, when she asked me what my beauty routine was at home(they always ask this) she said«I don’t need to know brands, just what you do» I TOTALLY appreciated that. Whenever I get a facial and they ask about your products you use at home I always feel judged when I’m not using the high end stuff. Anyway, I thought that was a thoughtful touch. I think with what they have to work with, they made good use of the space. I did not shower or get ready here but was told their products are good. It was just a little more on the smaller side than others I have visited. Kudos for warm and friendly staff!

This is the best experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to spas all over the world and this place is just over the top. My wife had the best time in the world with Adrea(the esthetician) I won’t soon forget, she’ll be back soon. Five stars.

The Hot Stone Massage and Spa Pedicure I received were top notch! To begin with my pedicure I got the full treatment. Hot neck roll, amazing massage, good exfoliating and of course beautiful tootsies. I would certainly recommend Claudia to anyone. My Hot Stone massage was nothing short of amazing as well. The centering of my Yin/Yang left me feeling like I’m floating on air once I peeled myself off the table. I highly recommend this massage choice. The stones are just a medium of which the massage is done with and the smooth oiled stone felt wonderful on all my knots and sore muscles. We also took advantage of lunch at the Spa. Beautiful outdoor seating and delicious food. The entire facility is well maintained and has every amenity that you could wish for. I especially like the atrium to sit and read in. Thank you to everyone that made this day special!

Great PEBBLEBEACHSPA of relaxation I LOVE, LOVE this place! It almost goes without saying that I LOVE to get a massage! Foot, back, whole body, head, neck, and if I get an AWESOME person that will massage my earlobes toward the end I would need to be pried off the table or go around petitioning other guests to sale one of their ankle biters for another hour of ear lobe magic! Who doesn’t love a massage. Ok maybe those that don’t like to be touched but THATAIN’T ME! I was here with a REALLYAWESOMEFRIEND that moved back up here about 2 years ago now! I miss Mrs. JV. She had a rough couple of years and is MYHERO because she handled everything with such GRACE while NOT pulling out her hair or being committed to the funny farm. On top of that she has Looney-Tune ME as a friend which is enough to send anyone over the edge and I had my own fun(NOT) life events and cried on her shoulder via IM, text msg, emails, and phone calls. She is truly Wonder Women in my eyes. So I came up for a visit and we decided we both needed to go to the spa and chill-ax! You know turn off your brain, and mobile phones in an effort to reconnect with yourself and rejuvenate so you can get back out there on the roller coaster of life and do it all over again… cuz let’s face it that is what being an adult is all about… work and responsibility! NO3 month SUMMER vacay doing NOTHING, up all night and sleep all day, no 2 weeks off for Christmas, no one week off for Thanksgiving, oh and NOFRICKIN getting a half-day every Friday cause your boss has a meeting. WHAT, WHAT! Unheard of in the REALWORLD! Ya’ll kids need a FRICKIN reality check! Anyway we get here and are immediately greeted with a smile and check in. My schedule had been cray-cray so I didn’t have time to call and make an appt for a massage but was going to just enjoy the facilities for $ 45. Not bad, but they had a few openings and I had moola that was itching to get out of my pocket and leap across the counter into the cash reg. I was quite happy. We both had Classic massages 30 mins apart which was perfect. JV had an 80 min while I had a 50 min. Classic Massage just means you get to customize your massage to whatever you want. More back, shoulders, neck, feet, more pressure, switch to sports massage, etc. We got a nice tour to the facilities and where everything was. This placed reminded me of Burke Williams but on a bigger more posh«Turn down for WHAT» scale, because they also have a lodge you can stay in as well as, golf, tennis courts, pool, restaurants, etc for lodge guest to enjoy! Can you FRICKIN imagine a week of NO thinking about what to eat, work, kids, roof is leaking and needs fixing, mowing the lawn, paying bills, getting up early for work, what am I going to wear to work, sitting in traffic, or any other daily brain activity but instead being massaged into submission by magic hands, getting a facial, mani/pedi, going to the salon and relaxing to the point you could probably forget how to breathe. OMG! This place is the MOTHERLOAD of RELAXATION! You are provided with a robe and slippers and can go commando or wear a bathing suit. For the most part men and women are separated EXCEPT in the Conservatory where you wait for your massage or can just chill-ax with a mag or book, while sippin’ on some cold water or tea and snackin’ on fruit cut or whole, and mini date and nut bread. They even had gluten free bites and hot tea. The Conservatory has blankets on each chair and there is even a quiet room which for RYAN(that would be ME) and my mouth all mighty, tongue everlasting at times is NOT so good! So I just avoided that room! Ha-ha! Both the women and men areas have a whirlpool Jacuzzi, showers, restrooms, dry and wet sauna, sinks, vanity areas with hair products, soap, lotion, lockers for your crap with key, deodorant, cotton swabs, comb, brush, towels are everywhere you look and they also supply you with a toothbrush and toothpaste and other little odds and end you might need. Whoa momma that was a mouth full! All you need to bring is yourself and money to get in! All the attendants SUPERDUPERNICE and AVALIABLE to assist you and ALWAYS asked if you needed anything! SMILES were all over to be had! NOAZZHOLE needed to be told to shut the«F» up and lower their voice which was GREAT! Everyone there KNEW how to act and didn’t ACK(and I do mean ACK) a fool! This is NOT the place for it! Only library voices and NOONE whispering loud enough you could hear them across the room. Everyone was SOONICE none of that PRETENTIOUS crap either! They even have an AWESOME boutique that you can shop in before, during, or after that is right across from the front desk. They sale my FAV Brazilian shoes which if you have not tried them your missing out! SUPERWONDERFUL! I even snagged a pair to take home! LOVE Brazilian shoes… rrrr-cha-cha, cha! I will FORSURE be back! I’m INLOVE!

I have been to the Spa at Pebble Beach about 5 times now, and was yet again reminded how amazing it is during my visit last week. When you arrive, it is honestly like you are entering another world! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful, and the facilities are always immaculate. It is nice to know that no matter how much time goes by between visits, you know what to expect as everything is always perfect. I have had a massage from Jerry twice now, and highly recommend him if you have the choice! Thank you so much for making a quick 2 day trip to Monterey such an enjoyable and relaxing experience!

So I’ll just put it out there that I’m not a fancy kind of gal. I really had my reservations about spending all damn day in my robe. At a spa. With a bunch of turned-up-nose-people I didn’t know, paying astronomical amounts for services they probably got weekly. But. I fell in love. Immediately. It wasn’t a gradual love affair. It was love at first sight and then every moment that I stayed, was another check mark that inked the deal. From the time you drive into the lush, green, serene grounds, you are enveloped in the beauty that is Pebble Beach. You walk in the door to a tour of the facilities, and given your own locker and cozy robe and slippers for the day. You don’t need to bring anything, because you either have it in the fully stocked showers and changing area, or in your locker. They have wonderful, quality hair products(even flat irons and blow dryers) to use at the end of your day. The entire facilities are immaculate and there are people cleaning up every two seconds. Where do you start in this maze of relaxation? Start at opening, at 8:30 am. It doesn’t matter what time your appointment is for, just get there early. And stay until they close. You have an outdoor 82 degree pool, an indoor hot tub, a sauna, an inhalation room, a steam room, an indoor firepit room, a salon, the sanctuary room, and, and, and. Every corner you turn there are fresh towels, blankets, cucumber water, iced tea, fresh made fruit bars, snacks, fruit and smiling faces to cater to your every whim. It’s ridiculous really. But, with paying for at least one service, it is your reality for the day. My friends have gotten luxurious massages here, but I can only speak for the pedicure, which I think is around $ 80 and is the best hour long pedicure you’ll have. They will bring you mimosas or beer while you’re in the massage chair as well. When your done, you can walk a few feet to the patio and wait for your toes to dry while you check out the scenery. The next time I make the trek to Monterey, I will come back and try the Water Experience, which I’ve heard is a 16-shower-head kind of magical bathtub for 30 minutes. Sign me up. Before I had even had an hour in the books, I had a girls weekend planned out in my head and the texts sent out by the end of day. I got back to reality, Sacramento. I searched for somewhere similar. I’m fairly certain that the kind of heaven found at The Spa at Pebble Beach does not exist anywhere but Monterey.
