Five Below

A great dollar store!
As the name suggests, everything is $ 5 and below. Pretty cute name, no?
You’ll find tons of bargains here, with the quality of a dollar store or slightly better. You can find name brand things at cheaper prices.
They stock clothes, makeup, seasonal items (like summer pool toys), phone accessories, art supplies, toys, novelty items. The list goes on!
What surprised and impressed me, however, was their extensive candy section. I have a huge sweet tooth and 2 nephews who are 10 and 12 years old. So, of course, we raided the candy section! Everything was very affordable and I was able to treat them to all the sugar they could throw in the basket. They had all kinds of candy, soda, novelty, boxed and retro candies and even a display for candy sold by the piece! Even some foreign candy. If you love candy, stop in here for a look! I got some awesome Dr Pepper Twizzlers. They tasted just like Dr P!

It is located around Pearland Parkway and old Pearland.
It is next to HEB and Ross, with MOD pizza, nasty Jet’s pizza and Chipotle in the same parking lot.
Well stocked, kept very neat inside. I was able find everything accessible and I didn’t have to step on or over anything.
I found an art selection of acrylic & watercolor paints. Paint by numbers set, watercolor paper, engraving paper, graphite, sketch book and drawing books. Cheap plastic paint brushs for the kiddos.
The sketch books by Royal Langnickle. A good quality brand for any artist. I also found a red laser light. It was very appealing and tempting to buy.
Graphic tees are $ 5, they have yoga pants, socks. Phone cases mostly for iSomething. Electronic chargers, usb ports, movies, posters, sport fan gear, prank gags, summer stuff, and lots of other souvenir items.
It does not have a large selection on pets things. Bay Area and here seem to skimp on that.
