Dr. Ohlemacher is an amazing physician.
However the Pearland office staff seem to not understand patient care or office etiquette. I went to check out and was told «the credit card machine was acting up». I needed to be somewhere within the hour so I offered to just pay with cash. When I checked my online account I had been charged twice. So I paid 3 times. I went back in and the woman at the front desk told me I would have to wait behind a line of 6 people checking out. I asked for a manager. No one ever came, so I had to leave to make my next appointment. The billing staff called and told me I would have to come back to pick up my cash, and hopefully one of the transactions on my card would fall off. So another unnecessary trip back to the office. Apparently my time is of no value.
The billing staff handed me an envelope and informed me «if both transactions fall off, you will have a balance.» I have never had a balance with the office, so why they would insinuate that I don’t pay my bills is beyond me. No apologies for the mess THEY created. They where extremely condicending. I hate to switch doctors, as Dr. Ohlemacher has always provided stellar care, but I refuse to be treated in such a manner from office staff. I was told the office manager would call me… I’m still waiting.

I’ve been a patient here for 6+ years and have always been very happy with the doctors, staff, and the beautiful offices. I highly recommend Dr. Ohlemacher to all my friends and family that need an OB/​GYN. I’ve been lucky to have had 2 relatively healthy pregnancies with CWCC and the quality of care I’ve received has been wonderful.

If I could give this place negative 0’s I would. If you are caught in a bad situation don’t go here because they are all about money & no care. Let’s start off by saying I went here & found out that I had fibroids but as soon as I started going there my husband’ company went on strike & our benefits changed. I needed to have surgery & couldn’t because of the benefits. So in the meantime I was given one of the lowest pain medication for my pain (which was fine for me) I didn’t want anything stronger, but after 4 months I was told its nothing else they could do because I couldn’t have surgery & that I needed to be referred to pain management, mind you I paid this doctor’s office for services & also overpaid them to be exact & I still haven’t gotten a refund! This is a money hungry place & they will leave you without care & no other options to help you. Right till this day I’m in pain & the doctor’s office has yet to pick up the phone & speak to me personally, yet they hide behind the computer & send emails! Now that I know my husband is going back to work in a couple of weeks I will find a new doctor that is more concerned about their patients health! I’m totally disappointed with the level of care and compassion that I received. I can’t even describe the pain I’m in & it has gotten worst since I went which leads me to believe the fibroids has gotten bigger & instead of my so called doctor checking she assumes I just want pain medication when she was only giving me enough for a 2 week supply. And I personally told her I didn’t want Vicodin or Norco so if I wanted pain medication I think I would of opted for the stronger medication right! The office has no communication anytime I needed to get something accomplished I had to send an email & someone that I never dealt with emails me back & have no clue what’s going on! Bottom line is if you run into a bad situation you are on your own with this office unless it’s about money! They make sure you pay before you leave & call you numerous of times about payments! I really feel since she couldn’t score big with me getting surgery at that moment she didn’t want anything to do with me as a patient & I felt like I was discriminated against because of my situation! BEWARE & STAY AWAY! I will go all over & put in reviews for this place so people will know what they might run into! By the way the doctor is Shaunna Mason

Scheduled an appointment due to dysfunctional vaginal bleeding. The doctor was very dismissive and did not see the need for me to have an ultrasound to find out the cause for the bleeding. Appeared as if she was in a rush to go somewhere. I even had to push to have my progesterone tested. Who would think that you would go in to see a doctor, especially in a practice that’s all-​female who would not sympathize with your situation. I could be bleeding internally right now but the doctor could not take 10 minutes of her time to see to this… despite the fact that I stated I had bleeding ranging from red to brown almost everyday since my period ended 15 days ago. The doctor is Lauren Gibson. The way I was treated, you would have thought I had a communicable disease.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is horrible and doesn’t care about its patients. I had the worst experience with this place. As I think of how much wasted time I spent going here, I get so upset!
I came here in January and the doctor saw I had a cyst the size of a grapefruit, it was 10 centimeters to be exact. Well, she stated that since I was pregnant I had to wait until my second trimester to get surgery. My second trimester rolls around and no talk of the cyst has been mentioned. Until I asked, she said they would just keep monitoring it and keep and eye on it. Really? Keep an eye on it? It’s huge any smart doctor knows that’s not normal and it needs to be taken out. Even the ultra sound technician in her office knew it wasn’t right! She would ask what the heck the doctor was planning to do about it because it was going to cause me problems.
In late March my worst nightmare came true my right lower abdomen was causing me excruciating pain. I went to her office to see what could be done about this pain I wanted gone yesterday. I see her nurse practitioner and she says, «Since the baby is fine you’ll just have to deal with the pain!» I wanted to scream in her face and tell her I wish she felt the pain I did! The doctor came to talk to me and she said she would refer me to another doctor and it would take a couple days. I didn’t have a couple days lady I had hours!!!
On Tuesday I realized how worthless this place was and made an appointment with another doctor. The appointment was made for 1:30pm at 4:00pm I was getting prepped for surgery. The cyst was twisting and had cut off the blood supply to my ovary. The ovary was pretty much dead and had to be taken out. The new doctors and their staff were amazing. I like to say they saved my life! They acted fast and knew what had to be done on my first day of seeing them. I had spent 3 months here and all they did was suck me for my money! & didn’t help for squat!
Don’t go here. Explore other options you’ll be thankful you did.

AMAZING Drs at this practice both in the Med Center and in Pearland. I have been going to this practice for 10 years (cysts and 2 pregnancies) and they are amazing!
Dr. O is great! She was my primary throughout my 2^nd pregnancy. She is so sweet and patient. Aside from how sweet everyone is they are excellent OB/​gyns. I had some serious pregnancy issues both times and they got me through (full-​term and safely). They are great! Pearland residents are lucky that they have a beautiful office in the area.

I wanted to put something up here because Dr. Jessica Ohlemacher practices at this location. Dr. Hardwick Smith is my primary doctor (reviewed her as well. she rocks), but I have seen Dr. Ohlemacher on a couple of occasions both in the hospital and here at this clinic location. I cannot stress how great she is! Her care and compassion are genuine and were very much needed at time when I was just out of surgery, did not feel well, and had issues that needed to be addressed. If you are in the Pearland area and need an AWESOME OB\GYN, Dr Ohlemacher is the one to choose! I just love her. You will not be disappointed. :) They just expanded their office upstairs from the original downstairs location to a beautiful one that is even bigger and better! Check it out!
