I’ve never been to another indoor range so I have nothing to compare it to but seriously guys. It’s a shooting range. It’s not going to be pretty. And it’s in a basement so do you really expect proper ventilation? It is what it is. Pricing is very reasonable. As long as you want for $ 25. The ONLY thing I’d ask is to be open later. I wouldn’t mind stoping in at 7:30 — 8:00 for an hour or two but that’s not possible.

Yes, it’s a little dirty and the ventilation could certainly be improved. And the owner really should not be smoking inside. That said, they’re friendly and the range fee is reasonable ($ 25 to stay as long as you’d like). And I happen to like shooting the shit with the owner. He’s a salty old NYPD guy.

Although the other reviewers are correct about the atmosphere being dimly
Lit and stuffy ventilation, you pretty much can shoot for as long as you want and do whatever you want. Its a fun place and worth it. The staff are helpful and nice to talk to.

If you live in Westchester, this place is probably your best bet for getting some quality range time. It’s definitely not the flashiest range, nor the most comfortable, but its got tons of personality and the staff is cool to deal with too.
One of my favorite things about The Firing Line is that shooting here is a much more relaxed experience than at a place like Blue Mountain. There, you constantly have range personnel up your ass for firing too fast or loading more than 1 bullet at a time. With The Firing Line: show up with your gear, pay, and take as much shooting time as you want, without any hassles. Outstanding.
I will absolutely continue to support the Firing Line every chance I get.

Pro’s:
— Plenty of shooting range points.
— Decent selection of firearms.
— Small selection of gun related equipment.
Cons:
— The gentleman (young adult) who worked the counter had zero personality.
— Range time: WELL OVERPRICED.
— Ammunition: OVERPRICED.
— Dirty interior. It doesn’t appear they have a cleaner to vacuum or dust the products hanging up.
Save yourself to time and aggravation and locate an alternative store down the road or shooting range elsewhere. If you do not believe me or others, see for yourself.

I’d go with a higher rating but the prices are just astronomical. In the long run I’m sure it’s worth it, but I only go once and a while. The place looks completely shady but don’t let that put you off. Yes you go into the basement and yes you think you may not come out alive, but that fear quickly goes away.

The shooting facilities are pretty good Well lit, well ventalated, and clean. The prices are a bit on the high side. But overall the service is good
