Pros: Good place to get a decent burger. Makes me think of Shake Shack in DC if you are familiar with that place. I like that you choose the size of your patty and that it is all made to order. The grilled nd fried chicken sandwiches are also quite tasty and juicy. I’ve tried the skinny(regular size) and fat(steak) fries amd both are delicious depending on your mood. The price is what you’d expect for the area. Cons: The service is not great. Granted it is counter service, but except for the first time we went the workers have seemed less than enthusiastic about coming out of their break room to take our order or saying anything more than«yes?» and the total. Also, it is quite loud in there — each time we have been there has been a TV on in the dining area, music playing also in the dining area, and other music playing back in the open kitchen. Three different things, all loud, are a bit much so it’s hard to talk over and can be a bit overstimulating. These things are not enough to keep is from going, though, when we want a greasy(in a good way) burger.

The food was good. However the service was poor. The girl at the counter was clearly unhappy to be there. I went to ask for a ranch. She slowly walks over to the counter, doesn’t say a word, and just looks at me. I ask for the ranch she still doesn’t say anything, turns around slowly and walks away. She grabs the packets of fat free ranch and hands them to a gentleman next to her so he can walk ten feet and hand them to me. I watched her be rude to every customer who walked in to the establishment. Her name was Sheena, and she should take lessons in costumer service.

I’ve only eaten here when I was starving. And that’s when food is suppose to taste the best. I thought their burgers were mediocre at best. I could probably make same quality on burger Wednesdays on the ship. Only recommend if there is no where else to go.

If you’re looking for good service then this isn’t your place. If you want a good burger then eat here. You’re not going to get both. Skinny fries are better than the fat fries. Three stars for the food being good otherwise I would’ve given them one.

The medium burger was delicious. Nice greasy flavor and toppings weren’t over flowing. A little too much bun. The skinny fries were better than the fat fries in my opinion. They were crispier and had more flavor. As others have stated the service was not great but the order was correct and food was good. That is all that matters.

Good food but piss poor employee at the register. He acted like he was doing us a favor. I dont ask for much. He told us we couldnt get just cheese on our fries. Also didnt ask us if we wanted it to go or eat in. He also did this to another customer as we observed. He didnt have a nametag but the reciept said David.

Finally! They have a Fat burger not in another state or country; the only thing is that you need base access. The best original taste you can’t beat, way better than any burger joint IMO. The seasonal shakes and burgers are a plus. Customer service isn’t on par but hey it’s just ordering a burger and they’ve gotten it right every time so kudos to that. Skinny fries are delicious and half the calories of regular plus if you like get them crispy. They have the MWR next door so you can watch TV, movies, go on the Internet, or whatever. Plenty of customization you can get with your burger, there is free Jalapenos, grilled onions, etc. Plus they don’t make your burger/meal until you order it so you know it’s fresh off the grill. If you like lemonade not so tart I’d suggest you mix it with half green tea it adds a different flavor to it. Try it! The skinny burger wasn’t what I expected when I ordered it I thought it would be more like IN-and-OUT where they’d give you a giant piece of lettuce. Instead they give you the burger on shredded lettuce almost like a salad. Whether you are on base or driving through and want a burger fix stop by it’s hard to disappoint, how can you mess up a burger?

This place is horrible. The male cashier was so soft spoken that I almost had to put my ear right in front of his mouth. I asked for a milkshake, but the milkshakes are broken.” Seriously! The burger was cooked so much that I thought it was a burnt offering. They didn’t have straws long enough for the large sodas. The price was horrible. Large burger combo, with large fries and soda was $ 12. Will not try this place again.

Fat Burger is fast food and I am going to rate it as such. This is my first time trying a Fat Burger. I got the medium with the«works». As fast food goes, this is average. Frankly, I’d rather have a McDonald’s burger and definitely, McDonald’s fries. Basic fast food atmosphere. We had one small burger, one medium burger, a skinny fry and two medium drinks. Price was $ 17.88. Not really a good value. I’m knocking it down to two stars because of the lack of value. Service was okay.

I’ve been here about 3 times, and every time, the same girl has been working. The first time I went, she was completely rude, but I brushed it off and assumed she was just having a bad day. Then when I came a 2nd and 3rd time, she acted the exact same way. How can you hire someone who is just so unbelievably horrible at customer service? I don’t understand how the boss(whoever that is) doesn’t notice how bad their employees are at basic customer service skills. The food is pretty good, but they literally never have milkshakes, ever. They never have enough people working. They just really need help with a lot of things.

Opened 35 min late. Food was flavorless. Fat Fries were barely cooked and still crunchy in parts. No ketchup. Could barely hear the guy taking the order. It was a bad experience all around. Bad enough to write a review about. Go off base to eat. Eat somewhere else on base. Do anything other than eat here, because if you keep spending money to eat here, nothing will change.

If you’re looking to satisfy your burger cravings then this is the spot. The burgers come with all the fixings and you can add extras like mushrooms, cheese, bacon, chili, guacamole… etc. there’s also something about the relish in their burgers that I love.

This is the place to go for a burger if you’re in the Fort Shafter/Camp Smith/JBPH/Tripler area. It’s hidden in the back of a large MWR facility. They had virtually no customers when I went, and there was no line. They don’t make the burger until you order it. The burger is good quality, similar to a higher end fast food burger like Whataburger. Better than Wendy’s. Not as good as Five Guys or Smash Burger. On Oahu, that puts it towards the top of the pack. Both skinny and steak fries are available and they’re both good. The burgers are calorie bombs though, if you’re worried about that sort of thing. Price is a little high, but then again I haven’t seen any cows around here.

Food is yummmy, just the wait time kills the rating. There’s like 3 workers when they know they get mad buisness. I no believe…

The best thing about fatburger is its location. You can grab a burger then go watch a movie at the beeman center. The food is pricy but its good because you can create your own burger. So its worth it but if you get a regular hot dog it costs a lil too much.

I had been here a few years ago and thought it was pretty good. Returned the other day to find a dry hamburger patty, stale bun and way too much mustard on «the works.» And I guess I should have gone with the fat fries. The skinny fries were lousy. So… you want me to tell you how I really feel? LOL One cool thing about this place is that it’s right next to a recreation center and Pearl Harbor equipped that center, nicely. Looked like they had free popcorn and lots of overstuffed chairs to relax in.

First time eating here and the burger was really good I had a medium meal… I thought of Whataburger it was really close… until I tried my fries and no comparison. Their fries lacked salt and flavor. Would I go back yes, maybe try the Chili fries or no fries just the burger.

the burgers are decent. fries are ok. near as I can tell they make your food once you order it. took my wife this past Friday(Feb 20th). I had the Thousand Island burger. added cheese and bacon. They could’ve put more Thousand Island sauce though. seemed like they barely put any. My burger(large) was supposed to come with a certain milkshake but they were out of that flavor. got a banana shake instead. could barely taste the banana. overall, for Oahu, I still prefer Teddy’s with tater tots. on the mainland, I’d choose In-N-Out over Fatburger. Still, i think its cool that we have one on Oahu. Maybe they’ll open one off base so more locals could try it. EDIT: The Large Fatburger didn’t fill me up. If I go to Fatburger again, I’ll definitely get the XXL Fatburger

Whoa I just got punched in the mouth a big bite of flavor! We were lucky enough to get here when it wasn’t busy and our food was ready in less than five minutes fresh! This place is similar to Teddy’s but imo it’s better! It offers more of a customizable burger experience. I personally love eggs and bacon on my burger and it’s an easy add on here. The burger sizes are monstrous! It’s expensive and I’m not quite sure if it’s worth $ 15 for the the bite but it sure hit the spot and left me wanting to come back for more. I would probably get the skinny fries bs the fat fries next time or their onion rings. Forgot to take a picture I will next time. Didn’t get a fifth star from me because one of the burgers delivered to he table was undercooked. Mine was perfectly fine but when you’re paying top dollar for a burger you shouldn’t have to worry about it being like that hot pocket you put in a microwave that always has a small piece inside that stays frozen no matter how many minutes you put it in for.

I really wanted to like Fatburgers… but I can’t give it more than 2 stars :( The burgers are great. A bit pricey, but always come out juicy and loaded with whatever toppings you ask for. I was dumb during my last visit and decided to try their new bacon chicken red hot sandwich as it looked amazing in the picture. EPICFAIL. The burger came out looking smaller than a cheeseburger from McDonalds and no jalapenos, and no bacon. Just a marinated chicken piece with tomato and lettuce. I later overheard the server stating they had run out of a lot of things including peppers. It’d be nice if someone told me, so I could have gone with a regular burger. $ 7.60 for an itty bitty piece of chicken sandwich. Don’t get me wrong, the flavor was okay, but really Fatburger? Service is pretty slow and I can’t blame RIMPAC. We ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, chicken wrap and onion rings. It took 30 minutes. I think if I do come back, I’d for sure call it in. They brought out all of our order on one tiny tray while other patrons received each burger on an individual tray. Sorry, but what am I supposed to put the burger on? *sigh* Overall, it could have been a great thing, but falls short. Sad panda :(
