This is a field enclosed by trees and is huge, plenty of space to run around. There are also beautiful hiking trails all around in the park. The regulars who bring their dogs have very well behaved fur babies who are not aggressive. Of course you have one person who brings an unsocialized dog here and there but they quickly don’t come back because they are embarrassed by their dog’s behavior. Also, the dogs do come out of the field for walks or to greet other dogs so please drive carefully. If your dog is not socialized — this is not the place to teach them.

Heads up — this is an UNOFFICIAL, UNFENCED dog park. It’s promoted as a dog park on Unilocal, but technically the City of Worcester/Paxton don’t recognize it as such and other patrons going there just to hike don’t always appreciate the off-leash dogs. Nine times out of ten, you’re golden. But technically… it’s just a park where people happen to bring a lot of off-leash dogs.

This dog park is fantastic! It may be hard to find your first time, but it is worth it. Be sure to go to the correct Mower St(yes there is more than one) If you are going north on 122(Pleasant St) it is the second right after you pass Airport Rd.

I’ve been coming here for over a year. A little hard to find the first time, but well worth the little confusion getting there. There are many dogs and their owners traveling the road and the trails around this park. There is even a large football field size area were people are always meeting with their dogs on the weekends. The people are friendly and their dogs are too! I never feel worried about traveling alone in the woods, as there are houses and people always around! Worth the trip to let your doggie run free!

My Vizsla and I would usually travel to Boston(I live in Leominster) to get her some good socialization & running about. Now that I’ve found this park I am relieved. For the central Mass area it is pretty cool. It is and old baseball field in a park in the woods where a few people let their dogs run freely with each other and get out energy. This is Great!

Ok… this isn’t a «business» but I have to let everyone know in Worcester that YESWEHAVE A DOGGYPARK!!! I brought doggy Ozzy there 2 times now and it’s been such a blast for him to run with other dogs! He LOVESIT! It’s a… glorified old baseball diamond/soccer field surrounded by trees with a brook and TONS of space for all our dogs huge and tiny to socialize in. They get a massive run going and it sounds like a herd of cattle coming through. All the humans are very nice and friendly and there is never a fight… ok, a nip maybe but never fights. I love this place!!!
