My fav hardware store. Customer service, Patterson style. with a warm smile. They always have a bunch of plants marked down that are looking for a good home and some TLC. I can go here with $ 5 And pick up a few plants. My last visit I found some kale plants marked down to $ 1.

They’ve always had that obscure broken part when I need it. Friendly staff who are knowledgeable and willing to help(having the right polite attitude as always determines your«customer satisfaction». Yes their prices are on the high side but for a two dollar part it beats driving to Turlock. Keep it in perspective. You can get milk at the gas station but its cheaper at the grocery store.

Was in need of a few small un-named«widgets»… Total cost maybe $ 7.00 Walked in and explained to the cashier what I needed, he yelled for someone to come over to help me… BAM, in seconds I was on aisle 5 picking up the«widgets» that would have taken me hours to find. It was a riot, so hardware style but it worked… I was back in the car in less than 5 minutes & on my way! If you need hardware items, and want to get in & out faster than Home Depot, get over to this place!

Sadly, this store needs management who understands how to build a good business. I have to agree with other reviews. Employees act like it is a major inconvenience when you ask questions. The customer service is horrible. If they offer you a discount look out, they might be jacking up the price. Go here only if you won’t be driving to another city soon enough to save money at another store and Ace is closed. Advice to the employees: If you don’t like your job, go find something you do like because you’re killing your own business.

Being one of the very few places that offer some type of your basic homeowner’s do-it-yourselfer places, one would think that a place that isn’t a mom-and-pop store, a place that has a backing of a fairly common name would be able to give you the assistance you need. The True Value Hardware store is a newer store. The original location was off of Highway 33 and it was crowded, dirty, dusty, and seemed like it just needed a makeover. Now that they moved into this building, it seemed like they moved the dust with it as most of their product are still sitting on the shelves. It is of no wonder why because the prices are steep. Customer service lacks in that department store but when push comes to shove and you really, really, really need something, then that is the place to go. Otherwise, I would usually wait until I have to head out of town and I’ll buy it from Home Depot. I’m down for supporting a small city’s needs but when you are price gouging because you know that the next closest place is 30 minutes away, I’ll gladly burn the gas mileage and time to make it work out in my benefit. Remember, if you have to get an emergency part, then go to True Value. If you are looking for an actual true value of your merchandise, head elsewhere.

They are definitely not customer oriented. i’ve noticed that they act very put out at any request for there help, just try and get them to mix paint and see what happens. Very surprising they would treat there customers the way they do with the prices they charge, everything in there is double what you would pay anywhere else. Dan, Danny, whoever. 2 different guys, same too busy to be bothered attitude, they will all be doing you such a favor to have even Iet you wonder in there dumpy IittIe hardware store. Drive just a bit farther and go to ACE complete opposite of these guys.
