Okay I really love this place. It’s hard to get to but worth it. Staff is really sweet. I love the Casitas and could care less the bathroom was down the way because they were pretty cool and the products they use are nice. Also I would never recommend I repeat do not do not stay at the hotel in town it’s moldy yucky and I’m really glad I wasn’t cheap and stayed there the 1st night. Yes it’s kind of pricey but worth it and also I swear there’s like 40 staff that live/work and take care of you while you’re there and everyone was pretty nice. Overall pretty nurturing. Oh also you don’t have to do a program they have think it’s called the vegan vacationer vegan holiday we can stay as long as you want. Some people stayed 3 days but I recommend 7 to 10. Also little helpful hint the weather can be extremely hot or freezing I liked going the end of October beginning in November but the last day it was like 30° with 50 mile an hour winds :-) Also it was not my experience to be sold sold sold that was the Experience I had at Hippocrates Palm Beach. Okay Unilocalers I’m pretty disappointed you guys are giving Hippocrates like a whole bunch of stars and the place is a dump in palm beach/Food is awful very plainOh and I forgot way way way expensive

This place is a total joke and scam. I wanted to go for the 10 day program, but was told I could not, and needed to do the 21 day program?! Wtf. Honestly, it just seems they want $$$$ and don’t give a shit about helping people.

I finished the mental wellness program since writing my first reveiw. I would not recommend the mental wellness program. I think if you are on a spiritual journey of some sort or are a diabetic, the program may work for you. However, if you are a diabetic, I would recommend you stay in the hotel in town and rent a car. Skip the facilities there. I did see a lot of diabetics have amazing results there but it is a extremely radical change in diet so be ready for that. As for people suffering from mental health issues. I highly recommend Dr. Cousens but in my experience, i would just go for the medical evaluation and appointment with him which only takes a few days, I would skip the program itself. Rent a car and stay in the hotel. But be forwarned, if you are in any of the programs and especially the mental wellness program expect to be constantly sold something. This place is a constant marketing machine. By the end of 27 days I was feeling milked dry. Also, if you are in the mental wellness program, expect to pay anywhere from $ 1500-$ 5000 per month in supplements on top of the program fees. Yes, I said per month. I was highly disappointed with my experience at the Tree of Life and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Tree of Life is a center and café run by Dr. Gabriel Cousens — the raw food pioneer and author of Green Live Rainbow Cuisine. I wanted to stay forever. If i had the time/money I would stay for a least a month just to groove out to the earth and sun and everything that comes. Since I am a big fan of his books and raw food I had to check this place out. I rented a car while I was in Phoenix on a business trip and drove the three hours south to Patagonia. Small tiny little town, but with a whole lot of life and good vibes. I only stayed one night, but I got to meet Gabriel and eat the magnificent food. The food is grown on the property and prepared with love. This is one of the best healing centers in the entire world — all built on raw food, fasting, and detox. I can’t wait to go back.
