Urmi’s Eyebrow Threading

Horrible manager. When i find someone who is good with eyebrow shaping, i try to go to the same employee. I called and verified she was there, 1^st they told me she is in Nutley so i drove there with my young son, when I got there, was told shes at Passaic location, ok so i took my son for lunch and went to Passsic only to find out she had been moved to Nutley just 5 mins ago. Really. I had clearly verifies she will be there till 5pm. She was never as good as the one I had found in UC but wasnt horrible where another employee at that location chopped the full corner of my eyebrow off. So after this run around, forget it.

I was in town from Texas for a wedding. I needed my eye brows threaded and Unilocaled this place. It was quick and cheap. $ 7 for eye brows. My mom has never had her eyebrows threaded. After watching the ease of mine, she also decided to get hers done. She looks amazing and agrees that it was better than waxing.

So glad I found this place. It’s located directly across the street from QuickChek and is very affordable. They always do my eyebrows the way I want them to be and aren’t rude like some of the other places I’ve been to.

I was looking for an eye brow place for 4 years and my eye brows are all messed up and she shaped them exactly how I wanted ! She even gave me tips how to keep them looking good and how they can grow in healthier! I love this place!

I used to be a regular here, but I’ve had other commitments out of town that led me to have my eyebrows serviced elsewhere. I’m back in town, with a full set of caterpillars and, of course, I go to my preferred threading location. Well, the service was horrendously bad and I’m BLEEDING as a result. I thought I felt something wrong with this entire experience, turns out I was right. So the lady servicing me wrapped things up and gave me the mirror to review her handy work, but neglected to mention the missing skin. I brought it to her attention she said «sometimes if you hold your fingers wrong, that happens.» Never in the previous 10 years has this happened and they want be given another opportunity again. Too bad, they used to be good.

Located this establishment on Unilocal — I was looking for a convenient threading near home as opposed to the overpriced service near my job in the city. I struck gold!
The place is by no means pretty, but I didn’t mind. This place is a no frills, fast and precise experience. For $ 7 to boot!
I didn’t even have to explain how important my brows are to me, she took wonderful care of them. I’m a very picky person when it comes to threading, I’ll remain forever loyal until the time comes for me to move again!

Awesome no frills threading salon. No wait, fast service, great job and the price is right. She was clearly skilled at threading as I left much less red than other places and it was as close to painless as possible. Eyebrows are $ 7 and credit cards have a $ 10 minimum.

Clean place that you do not need an appointment for. Service is good and quick. Prices are reasonable as well. They also have really good hair products for reasonable prices. Cathy loves and swears by this lace. She has been coming here of about the last 7 years and she would not trade this place for anything.

This place is an undicovered gem! It’s crowded in here on saturdays (naturally) but the ladies try to work quickly. Sometimes it seems there aren’t enough women working to service the amount of people in the waiting area but they do try to keep it moving. On a weekday there is really nobody in here. Years ago when I had my very first threading experience at Urmi’s I knew I was a lifer! It’s cheap so tip the girls nicely!

having been used to going to Anastesia in Nordstroms and paying 35.00, i was a little leary, but i want to trust my fellow Unilocalers, so i gave it a try… left my home in passaic at 3:55 and was home by 4:10 — i got a great eyebrow thread…7.00! i can actually go every two weeks! she did exactly what i asked for…

Urmi’s is fantastic! I’ve been going there for a while now and they are very fast and reasonably priced. No appointment necessary. So far I’ve recommended a number of people there and they love how much time and $$ they save by going there. It was my first experience w/​threading and I will not go back to waxing! I’ve never been, but I know that she has to other locations, one in Ridgewood and another in Nutley! Try it
