Great experience with their tacos. Went with 1. Al Pastor 2. Bistec (steak) 3. Chorizo; all for a Dollar each! The red sauce is a lot more spicer but I dumped both of them in. Overall out of the 3 tacos I loved the «Al Pastor». very well seasoned and tasty! Chorizo was my least favorite but wasn’t all that bad!
I would be coming back next week for more!

Great spot for Mexican tacos for a $ 1 each. Three different hot sauces and lime slices to add an extra kick to the tacos are great! Love there fruit juices! Definitely authentic Mexican food. A must try!

Guacamole. That’s one of my top criteria when judging a Mexican restaurant. A place can be pretty good but if the Guac isn’t up to snuff then it’s a total letdown. In this case all I can think about is just how good that Guac was! That’s not to say that the food was lacking in other areas. The food in general was very good, from the different tacos, the beans and rice and the breaded chicken that was seasoned deliciously. And lets not forget the generous helping of Guac and chips that I felt guilty about not being able to finish. Just like most Mexican restaurants it won’t slay your wallet either. Definitely some where worth visiting again… you know… Guac.

You haven’t tasted authentic Mexican food until you’ve visited this place. What an awesome place! This is the real deal & as authentic + tasty as it gets. Not only that, it’s a total bargain with the menu prices! You can have a legit fiesta with your friends and not even come close to breaking the bank for some really good food. Imagine Mexican food that is 2x better than the tastiest most authentic restaurant you can think think of, then imagine that food being ½ or even ¹⁄₃ the price. Yep this is THAT place. For my NY Food Truck Foodies, this place beats Mexico Blvd hands down every time, and for the price of 1 of their tacos you can 3 better ones here!
The $ 1 tacos are excellent but small, you may need 3 – 5 to fill you up. They may be small but this is the traditional Mexican taco size, so they are def comparable to any other place you can get traditional mexican tacos, just way tastier! They come in different flavors, namely Chorizo, Bistek, Carnitas, Pollo, Lengua & Al Pastor. Usually I come here with 2 – 3 friends and we just order a mix of 20 tacos, 5 of each. Think about it for a second, we spend $ 20 between 3 – 4 people and we feast like kings. I’m in love with these lightly grilled delicious tortillas filled with the most tasty meats, onions and cilantro! Be sure to put both Roja & Verde sauce on them for a little spicy kick if your a fan of the spicier side of life :)
They also serve Mexican drinks, sodas, pastries & deserts. They have really good mexican bebidas (drinks) & sodas, also the pastries are to dieeeee for. There’s a bakery next door owned by the same owner so make sure you try something for desert. This place is small, but it does what it does very well!
Mexico Deli also serves delicious breakfast platters, which you should try with the Tamales which are unfortunately are only available in the mornings. Apparently they make hundreds of these things daily but they go like hot cakes, er, I guess I mean they go like hot temales.
Give this place a try, you will love it! It honestly doesn’t get any better than this if your a fan if tex mex or Mexican food.

I go there Sunday mornings for their tamales. $ 1 apiece fresh out of the kitchen and as good as they come. Excellent coffee for $ 1 also. If I wasn’t so hooked on their tamales I would try one of their egg dishes which look quite interesting. There are only 2 small tables so this is pretty much take out.

Great coffee and hot chocolate with American favorites as well as Mexican pastry’s and sandwiches. The prices are low and food great, combined with a efficient staff and great owner/​manager this is a great spot to satisfy your morning hunger and lunch cravings.
