Great peruvian food, i love how she invents her own dishes and gives them a twist. Im half peruvian so i might be biased but this restaurant has the best peruvian food that ive had in nj :) prices are decent not too expensive the only complaint is how small the place is sometimes we have to wait or share a table. If its winter and you have to wait outside because there is no place to stand inside. Oh well with as busy as her business is she’ll have to expand. most of the time i order the seco norteno its so delicious, ive had quinoa with some pork chicken and beef not sure what its called and my husband likes the trifasico. Everything is made fresh sometimes as your waiting to be seated your order is being prepared so when you sit you just need to grab your fork! Enjoy

First let me start off by saying i am of puerto rican decent. My wife and her family are peruvian. My wife is american born and her parents were born in peru. I have loved peruvian food since the beginning of my relationship. I loved it even more when i went with my father in law to peru. Which is where i tried cuye(guinea pig) for the first time and it was so delicious. La Casa De Rosita by far is the best peruvian restuarant i have eaten in. From the start, with the soup to the cuye i was in food heaven. Service was great and Rosita greets everyone as they come in. And everything tastes awesome due to the fact rosita cooks everything herself! The only thing i would say is that its is a very small restuarant with limited seating but thats all i can say. Food wise best food if you want to taste typical home peruvian food. I left very very satisfied, and gave Rosita a big hug and kiss. Even took a picture with her. This place is worth the trip
