If you’re looking for AR platform rifles, this isn’t really the place to go. Shoot The Moon specializes more in bolt action rifles and hunting instead of a more varied selection.
Nothing wrong with that, mind you, as if you’re looking for a bolt action, their prices are fair and the staff is professional, knowledgeable and pretty laid back. Always nice when a store isn’t full of uptight jerks.
If you’re ordering from an online store and need to have your FFL items sent to a shop in the area, I’ve found their dealer-​to-​dealer transfer fees to be the best.
I have both purchased firearms here and had online purchased FFL items sent here and
have always been pleased with my experiences.
Also, if you follow their Facebook page, they do post and let you know when they do (not as often as anyone would like) get .22 LR in stock.

Orrville was quite helpful in explaining the ropes to a reloading newbie such as myself. They have a decent selection of equipment, and surprisingly they actually had Federal small pistol primers in stock. At $ 64.99 per 1000, they are very pricey, which is why I dinged them a star. That’s certainly on the higher end. I understand that they can’t easily resupply given that distributors are short on inventory. Nonetheless, the helpful tips for the rookie were appreciated. Hopefully the prices will return to sane sometime soon.
